Chapter 60 - Control

There are only 10 Magic Cores inside. However, Cyril already gave his bank account number a while ago and was already promised to receive payment there.

These cores are considered his bonus.

"About the translations of these books… Ah! We have specialists that can decipher these. However, they might take several years to study them. If it's possible, can you provide a little help? Do not worry, we will compensate you generously."

Cyril asked the demon. It is already getting late so he's planning to just return home for now…

"Hmph… I don't have an affinity with that Arcane World. I'm too lazy to look around." Xagan said as he followed Cyril.

He has already appeared as a human again and floating behind Cyril.

"Is that so…"

Cyril no longer said anything as he pulled up his phone to check some news…

Every time he travels, he's always looking around to find some familiar people or perhaps recall any people that would soon be influential in the country. Either through fame or through bad reputation, unfortunately, he wasn't too lucky so he thought of just monitoring the news for now…

After not finding any interesting news, he kept his phone as he thought of his encounter today with the elves.

He noticed that the Art of Bloom, or his Aunt's shop, was closed. He thought that his Aunt Bonnie is probably looking for better flowers being sold by the Association again.

Anyway, he also contacted a realtor to help him find a good house in Forbes Park. Since it is the safest community at the moment, he wanted her Aunt to live there with him.

Though the calamity brought by the Vampire hasn't happened yet, it's better to be prepared now since the appearance of the beasts from the abyss would also occur in the future.

Cyril then returned to his room. He's not planning to reenter the Red Goblin's Arcane World. He decided to just practice his Aura for now.

However, he doesn't have absolute control of this Aura yet!

Even with the memories of his past life, reaching absolute control will still take some time since this is a matter of familiarity with the Aura.

His Aura right now has the quality of an S-Rank Awakened!

It is completely different from his previously low-rank Aura. So practice and familiarity are something that he still has to do.

Cyril frowned after reaching an impasse with his control… He can't manipulate it yet like a part of his body… If he was probably seen by other Awakened, they would already be satisfied with that result, however, he's different since he knows that real S-Rank Awakened could really do with their Aura.

He can only sigh for now as he decided to just continue with his practice every night. Anyway, it's not like he can do this immediately.

He took a bath to refresh himself before returning to his bed. He doesn't have plans to return to the Goblin's Arcane World yet.

He checked his phone to see Marketplace on the Awakened site.

Unfortunately, there are no Artifacts that caught his eyes. Well, with his current weapons, there shouldn't be any problems exploring low-class Arcane World at the moment.

He looked at his Runed Boomerang which is currently his only D-Rank Artifact. He even inherited this from his late uncle.

He then recalled the runesmithing technique of the Elves… Although there is a rune in this boomerang as well, it is completely different from the one made by the elves. After all, the one here was only naturally formed after using a mystical material to create the boomerang and not through manual creation like how elves are doing it.

"Haa~ Should I study the runes as well?" Cyril pondered.
