Chapter 162 - Rank-A Artifacts

Cyril had to wait for almost two hours before it was his turn to enter the shop.

Actually, there are already a dozen or more customers who left the line because of how much time they have to wait.

Nevertheless, those who waited would be able to have a chance to purchase these Undead Artifacts.

As soon as he managed to enter the shop, he realized that there are currently three employees handling the customers.

He looked around the shop and found six shelves where several Undead Artifacts are displayed.

"Death Knights, Skeleton Knights, Skeletone Mage, Parasitic Zombies, and Magic Zombies… Whoa~ Do they actually have multiple Undead Arcane World? No wonder they could supply a lot of customers."

Cyril muttered after recognizing the previous owners of the Artifacts displayed. Anyway, they should also have some lower rank Artifacts but it seems that they aren't being displayed.

"Next!"

Cyril heard the call and quickly approached the staff.

"Hello, have you decided what to buy?"

A pleasant voice greeted Cyril. It seems that the owner cares about the appearance of their shop and hired some pretty employees to work here.

Not only that, even though they should be tired of handling so many customers, their soothing voice and pleasant smile were still there.

"Right, I noticed that most of the Artifacts here at Rank-B at best, are there any Rank-A Artifacts that you could sell to me?"

"Oh? Is it for you, Mr. Customer?"

As soon as Cyril answered, everyone in the shop looked at him and started whispering.

The staff pointed at the closed door where Cyril thought would be a toilet or something. She decided to lead Cyril inside where he met a young man sitting comfortably on a couch.

"Oh, what's this? Is he trying to buy highly illegal items?" The young owner asked after noticing that his staff brought someone in.

"No, owner Lee. He wanted to buy Rank-A Artifacts for himself. You told us that you're the only one who can sell Rank-A Artifacts."

"Ah! Right… right. I did say that. Come in!"

The young man said. He only appears to be fifteen so Cyril was a bit surprised. His face looks like an innocent middle schooler with a clean haircut.

He doesn't look like an owner of a shop inside the Black Market at all!

'Just who is this guy?'

Cyril was impressed seeing such a young businessman here. However, the Fantasy Weapon Shop doesn't ring a bell at all.

It didn't seem to be a huge store in the future, unlike Britta's Zero Trust Trading that would soon dominate the market.

"I'm Glen. The owner of this shop. Ehem… As much as I would to ask you what kind of Rank-A Artifact you're looking for, we only have three Artifacts at that level here so you don't really have many choices."

Cyril nodded. However, he thinks that having three types of Rank-A Artifacts is already impressive.

"Great… Please show it to me." Cyril replied not worrying about the price. Right now, his main source of income was his Aunt's potion business. Aside from that, he could also sell some decent Rank-B Artifacts if he wanted to earn a bit more money.

Well, he's not using the Clawed Gauntlet, Beastman Spear, and Bone Helmet after all.

From the Artifacts that he had taken from that High-Class Arcane World.

He's only using the Rank-S Conqueror Staff and the Rank-B Fiery Necklace which he got from one of Magenta's Corrupted Flying Beastmen.

The Fiery Necklace gives him an ability similar to the Berserk Potion that he has and has a lesser backlash.

This is why he decided to keep it with him and others to be his disposable items.

"Alright… However, I've been trying to confirm whether you're really an A-Rank Awakened. Err… I mean I wanted to make sure that you really deserve to have them. As you know, we need to be careful these days."

However, Cyril quickly understood what he was trying to say. He looked at Glen's Necklace Artifact and realized that it is some kind of Appraiser to feel his Aura.

But since he's using his Rank-A Identity Shroud Mask, it was able to disrupt his Appraiser making Glen clueless about Cyril's true Rank.

Cyril had to leak his Aura to guarantee his identity as a high-rank Awakened and not some troublemaker who just wanted to see Rank-A Artifacts and not purchase in the end.

"Eh? What? Y-you're---" Glen didn't finish his words as Cyril put his finger on his lips.

That's right, he just released his S-Rank Aura in front of the young man!

He didn't care about keeping this a secret at the moment since he's using a mask. He didn't care what kind of aftermath would happen next so he could get the best Artifact right now!

"A-amazing! I didn't know that such an esteemed person would grace us today! May I ask for your name, Sir?"

"Ugh… That… I can't reveal my name yet but you can just call me Shroud."

Cyril replied.

"I understand, Sir Shroud. Please have a look at our Rank-A Artifacts."

Glen's mood obviously brightened up as he brought out three briefcases containing three different Artifacts.

The Durability probably played a lot of roles to bring down its price but it is still quite a decent one.

Currently, Cyril has 40 million Ains with him. It is not too huge and not too small for an S-Rank Awakened like him.

'Hmm… I really have to find another source of income. The goblin mines, potion, and selling Artifacts is not enough.' Cyril mused as he looked at the other Artifact.

Anyway, he didn't find this item interesting since he already has the Decimation Gloves that allow him to use Echo Strikes. It's quite a good Artifact whenever he needs to fight in close combat.

The final artifact was quite an amazing item as well. He asked Glen to explain what this Possession was and he was surprised to know that it actually allows the user to become a weaker version of Doom Knight for five minutes!

The user will possess the Skull and get himself summoned as a Doom Knight! Unfortunately, the user's real body would become vulnerable so someone must be protecting it while he's using the possession.

It is a very interesting Rank-A Artifact and Cyril had never heard of this before.

"I'd like to purchase each one of them."

"Amazing! As expected of an S-Rank Awakened. You can see the value of these Rank-A Artifacts. That would be 72 Million Ains, Sir Shroud!"

Glen immediately replied. He didn't even give a discount.

"Ehem. I only have 40 million with me right now. Is possible if I sell you some Mid-Grade Healing Potion?"

Cyril asked. The truth is that Bonnie already improved the Lesser Healing Potion and created a Mid-Grade Healing Potion!

There weren't many of them being sold yet but many Arcane Explorers already heard about it and couldn't wait to purchase them!

"What? Do you have those potions?! Zero Trust Trading has been monopolizing these potions. I didn't think that my customer would have some! If you want, you don't have to pay money and can just pay with potions."

Glen immediately gave an unreasonable offer.

"Ehem. I can't. There's no way for me to provide that many. I will still pay 40 million and the rest would be potions. Is that alright?"

"Yes! Of course!" Glen still replied happily not minding Cyril's rejection at all.
