AETHER'S POV:-

"Well….let's see what we can find inside the soul of a God." I speak as I look at the vast Kingdom in front of me. In front of me are walls made up of strange materials and a strange aura radiating from them. I can see certain chains on my body as they form some form of barrier on my body.

'If I am not wrong, these mana chains must limit the powers of those who have a lot of mana. Well, it does not concern me, I guess.' I think as I look around and observe the street in front of me. There is a white sky and whitish marbles covering the ground.

I then begin to walk slowly, observing and sensing the surroundings After walking for about an hour or so, in this never ending street, I see a certain statue walking towards me with a spear in one hand and a shield in his other hand. I observe him coming towards me with an irritated expression as he looks at me before speaking.

"A weakling human, huh? Well, nothing special to hunt I guess…" he says as he moves his spear towards my head..

-Time Stop-

I walk towards him and then draw a circle on his forehead. Observing the circle, I see no reaction from his body as I begin to think…

'So his body composition differs from the beings I have seen up until now, huh?' Well, let's take the traditional path then…' I think as I move back a bit before taking my dagger and pricking my fingers and applying energy to it. Then I apply some space magic in a matrix form to amplify the amount of strength I am going to need.

After finishing the calculations and the amount of mana I need to put, I bring my wrist near his head and then…

-Time Start-

"Huh?" He seems a bit confused by my disposition. I tick his forehead with all the mana I got from the dagger along with my space magic. I also applied some soul magic while I was at it. As my fingers touch his forehead, he gets blown miles away. I look in the direction to which I had blown him away and sigh as I realise I put too much strength in my fingers.

"Well, at least I didn't kill him. I wonder if the beings of this world are only this strong?"

I then get in a jumping position and then jump towards him as fast as I can.

I fly in the air for a few moments before finally reaching where he had fallen on the ground. Most of his body parts are broken to smithereens as I look at the area completely destroyed around him.

"Oops!" I speak as I look at the mess I have created. I then observe a few more people around that place. A red-haired guy, a black-haired guy, a Dark Fairy and another guy of a species that I do not know of yet. I then look on the other side at a few more statue people with different weapons looking at me with cautions in their eyes.

"I should have knocked before coming here," I say, as I genuinely feel bad for disturbing them.

A FEW MOMENTS BEFORE

MARCEL'S POV:-

I see the guardian in front of me and then observe the one at the back. I knew this won't last long. Maybe I was hoping too much, in order to escape from here, but still I couldn't help but question myself, 'Was there anything I could have done better? Is it really the end?'

I then prepare for the final battle of my life before I might be turned into a puppet. The guardians are laughing as they look at us.

"Give me a minute and I will be done with them," one of them speaks as he looks at us. The other one rebukes with an irritating expression as he observes the first Guardian," Hey, they are my prey. Stay away from them."

"Just one minute. You know I have had no fun for the past few centuries. I would give you a grey fruit in return, okay?" The other one, carrying a sword in his hand, speaks as he looks at the one with a dual blade in his hand.

"Grey Fruit, huh? Hmmmm….alright, I can give you 30 seconds in exchange for that, nothing more. Are you in?" The dual bladed Guardian speaks with a sly smile at which the swordsman Guardian makes an ugly expression but still nods before speaking.

"You better remember this. Next time, it might as well be my time and you will ask me the same thing."

The dual bladed Guardian laughs before putting his blade back in its sheath. The swordsman Guardian then looks at us and speaks.

"You have 30 seconds to entertain me. Do your worst," before he jumps at one of the Beastmen and then moves in for a kick. All of us jump back and create a distance between him and us. The Beastman, however, gets teleported back into his original position. The kick lands on his head, killing him in an instant. Then the soul of the Beastman breaks before reforming and flying into a certain direction that leads to the God's Torture Chamber, as we call it.

He then smiles at us as he says, "Is that all you can do?"

I, along with Ozlo and Adrin, glare at that Guardian and prepare to fight as we charge our divinity to max limit.

'At least we should kill one Guardian before we get captured,' I think, as I look back at all the friends we have lost. To the dreams we all carried at all times, I wonder what the leader would have done at this point. I wonder if there is anything still possible that could change our fate.

"Hehe.." A chuckle escapes my mouth as I realise that I have been surviving on pure hope all this time. My body has almost deteriorated, my mind almost broken. All that is left is pure hope, hope to see an end that is worth all this suffering.

The Guardians look at me and get confused, while my friends look at me with a smile before they too start chuckling and then we all start laughing.

And then…I move with my best move as I attack on the Guardian's neck, the Guardian…did not even dodge and just stood there. I see Adrin and Ozlo also making their moves at different weak points that we know of the Guardians.

The moves hit…but nothing happens…the Guardian just stands there with a smile on his face as he speaks,"I already know what you are trying to do. That won't work on me. Try something else, will you? That trick is too old now."

Then we all move back before moving again with a different attack pattern. We changed our attack pattern over and over, but the Guardian simply stood there without any movements.

"10 more seconds," the dual bladed guardian speaks as he looks in our direction. He seems to be bored with our fight as he looks at us. I see the Dark Fairy, Lera, trying her best to help us but with the amount of divinity she has collected, it does not seem to be effective at all. The other Beastman is trying to run away with fear in his eyes, but then the dual sword guardian blocks his way before killing him once and for all. Then I look at Ozlo and Adrin struggling even to stand, as their divinity is at their limit.

'So it's really the end, huh?' I think about the situation in front of me. Flashbacks of my life pass in front of me as I look at the Guardian in front of me with a creepy smile on his face. He seems to be really enjoying this process. It's irritating, it's suffocating…it's' too much. Just what did we do to deserve all this…just…

I slowly lose control over my emotions as I shout," I AM GOING TO GET OUT OF THIS DAMNED PLACE!!! I AM GETTING OUT OF HERE….."

I run towards him as fast as I can. He is still laughing at me. I then look at him, taking his sword out of the sheath. I observe him pointing the sword in my direction with the same smile he had since the battle began.

Then…something unexpected happens…something comes in between us…no something fell in between us from a bit far away. I observe the thing that fell in front of me…

'It's a Guardian?!!?!! What?!!' My eyes get wide open with shock as I look at the condition of the Guardian in front of me. He is all broken and tattered into pieces. Just what could have happened? I think as I look at the Guardian in front of me. His expression tells that even he knows nothing.

"Oops!" I hear the voice of a man on the other side as silence covers the area.

'Who is he?' seems to be the question on everyone's mind.. He observes us for a few moments before speaking with an apologetic expression,"I should have knocked before coming here."
