Releasing whatever energy was in my cells was as simple as flicking a switch. One second the fire was inside my cells, being held down by some kind of divine law, then it was out, flushing itself through my body.

Instantly I felt the energy burst out of my body, covering it in an aura of red flames. I watched as Thor backed away, a look of surprise on his face, followed quickly by a shocked joy as he looked at something...behind me?

Currently, I couldn't do anything to look as I was currently pushing upward with my hands. The 75 tons was getting progressively less heavy as the fire flooded my body.

I felt the aura surrounding my body compressing itself into vein-like lines on my body. When the aura was finally suppressed, I felt my strength get another boost, allowing me to fully push my arms up.

It wasn't that the weight was negligible anymore but it definitely wasn't my limit to my new found strength. Information rushed into my head before the Sage Force collected it all and put it into an easy to read packet of information in my mind.

I couldn't read it right now because I was doing the tests. I'd find sometime later to read it as I wanted my full attention on it as this transformation was...unique.

Looking at my arms I saw the lines crawling around them, slowly flashing between dark red and bright red, pulsating with energy. With the energy came a fervent fever for movement. Nothing specific, just to move, to do things, to fight, to work out, just as long as I did something.

I kept my new instincts under control, suppressing them for now as they'd only get in the way, before focusing more on the lines.

The lines crossed over one another but each line reached until the end of my fingers from what I could see. I'd have to add this to the list of things I need to check out later.

I looked over at Cap and Natasha who were both looking behind me just like Thor was, but they were completely dazed. Why are they doing that? What could possibly be there--

As I turned my head to the side, I realized my shadow's shape was a bit...different? I quickly spun my head to look behind me and saw something I should've expected--

"Wings...?" I whispered but it seems everyone heard me as Thor chuckled, while Natasha and Cap tried to cover up their embarrassment from being so dazed. But I couldn't blame them as I looked at the wings.

Blood red just like my hair, the feathers looked as hard as steel but still kept their beauty. Each feather being identical to the next, making a picture of pure avian perfection.

The wings were fully stretched, making me look like a bird of prey in flight. Both of them together seemed to be about 20 feet in wingspan.

By this point, I was coming out of my daze and I could feel a definite control of the wings. Like an arm or a leg. But if I was gonna be honest, I had the same control a baby had over their arms or legs.

But using what meager control I had, I pulled the wings inward, folding them behind my back loosely. Getting them comfortable, I finally looked over to Cap who was looking at me with a funny look.

"Uhh, hey Cap, can you increase the weight once more?" I half-smiled at him, breaking him away from his weird look. He nodded his head while occasionally looking at me with a gaze filled with disbelief.

He clicked the button once more and pushed the weight up to 100 tons. The weight was heavy but doable. If anything, I'd say it was a comfortable weight I'd like to use when working out...

Haaah~ I'm decently strong if I can think about using 100 tons as a workout...

Stopping my thinking, I put on a show of the weight being a bit too heavy for me. I pleadingly looked at Cap, "I think this is my limit, Cap, would you care to bring this pressure off of me?" my voice sounded strained as I practically spat out the words.

Instantly, I felt the pressure on my hands lifted.

I could feel the now unhindered power, flowing throughout my body. I could also look down and see my wings had torn off the t-shirt I was wearing. But it also meant I could see the red lines spanning across my chest and abdomen. Each line connected in some way and looking like some kind of great artists masterpiece.

Bringing me out of my thinking was a feeling I was beginning to hate; pats on the back and/or shoulder region.

"Ha! I didn't know you were a fellow Divine, my boy! To think I'd meet a descendant of the Ancient Angels, I must my Hamingja!*" Thor's booming laughter sounded just like thunder as he continually shook me back and forth before he brought his hand to my face and looked at me as if a father-in-law inspecting his daughter's boyfriend, "Hmm...good, good! You've even awoken the Burning State, you're bloodline must be incredibly pure! I must take you to Asgard, the Valkyries would love to meet you!"

Thinking about the Valkyries, I temporarily ignored whatever else Thor had said, storing it in my "read later" mental file, and I couldn't help but feel a little excited...a group of strong, beautiful women - what more could I want?

...Wait. First I thought of my lack of memories about what food I like, then I get excited about meeting beautiful women...Gluttony and Lustful aren't very Angelic traits, you know!

While I was having my internal conflict about my new findings with my personality. Cap and Natasha were looking at Thor acting the way he was, shaking their heads.

Cap because he thought Thor's unprofessional-ism was bad, especially when testing someone.

While Natasha was like it because she knew she was probably going to have to deal with the two of them when she was monitoring the boy...

After a while of Thor messing about and enthusiastically speaking, Cap finally put his foot down, "Thor, let's test the kid on some other machines. Then you can talk to him about training him in the ways of a warrior with the Valkyries or whatever, okay?" Cap's voice which had been friendly and polite up to this point, sounded a bit annoyed and it was obvious he'd had a long day.

Thinking of days, what time is it?

I looked about for a clock before looking over at Natasha, "Agent Romanoff, you wouldn't perhaps happen to have the time, would you?" smiling my usual charismatic smile, I walked toward her and Cap with Thor still next to me.

Natasha raised her eyebrow before answering, "It's 6:17pm, why'd you ask?"

"I was just wondering...Thanks for telling me, however," I brushed off her question, much to her annoyance. Even if it was the truth, I guess Spies were suspicious no matter what, huh?

Soon after this, we went onto the other tests. First up was the speed test.

It looked pretty much how you'd expect a futuristic treadmill to look but obviously much longer than your average treadmill. It must have been about 20 meters long, however, it was only a little wider than a normal treadmill.

Cap ran me through on what I'd be doing, and I understood the pretty simple concept it would do.

I'd get on it and it'd started moving at quicker and quicker speeds, and my goal was to keep up with those speeds for as long as I could.

Due to the added wind resistance, I chose to suppress the wings, meaning I lost my new kick-ass wings and also the red line-like tattoos I was growing ever-so-quickly fond with.

Anyway, I'll spare you the details as it was literally just me running on the spot for 10 minutes.

I reached about 51m/s which is stunningly quick, well, at least when compared to humans anyway. Cap even said that puts me about 8 times quicker than the fastest human athlete and even quicker than him which made me feel a bit of pride.

Obviously, I knew there were quicker people in the universe but still, let me have my moment will ya?

And the best part about all of this? I found out my stamina is unnaturally high. As I kept running near and at my top speed for a considerable amount of time when most people get tired in a few seconds from running at their top speed but for me? I didn't even break a sweat, nor did I feel my heart rate increase by much.

Anyway, we moved onto reaction time tests which showed I had the necessary reaction time to dodge bullets within close range and even smaller caliber bullets at close range. The way they tested this was by having rubber pellets shot at me. Each pellet was identical to a real bullet in shape and weight, just not without the piercing potential.

Even when some of the rubber bullets hit me, they just bounced off my skin, like they'd hit a metal wall or something. They did hurt, albeit not too much, however.

When I brought up the durability test, Cap shrugged it off explaining to me that being able to lift and withstand the weight of 100 tons and shake off the specialized pellets without any harm to my body, was already enough data that they could guess where my durability lies in terms of power.

After these tests, and also after they had another shirt delivered to the room so I wouldn't be half-nude, we walked off to another part of the office building - which we were in when Fury was explaining to me about the monitoring I had to have.

...Smug, sly bastard...

--Whoops, guess I have a bit of a temper as well. Gluttony, Lustful and Wrathful. If it weren't for the feathery wings, I'd be sure I was a demon~

Anyway, before I knew it, we were sitting across from a blushing woman who couldn't stop looking between Cap, Thor, and I. We were currently getting my documents sorted out.

Most importantly, I was getting a name!

"I guess, I'd want my name to be..."

{A/N - Cliffhanger~

But anyway, if you're wondering what the tattoo looks like, it looks like this:

I know Oga Tatsumi is the opposite of an Angel and his power is Demonic but still, it looks how I envision the MC's power tattoo to look. Even the part on Oga's face, is on the MC's, just haven't spoken about it yet~ Oh and if you're wondering how the MC looks, just imagine a taller, more muscular version of Oga Tatsumi with red hair and eyes...probably best to imagine him a bit more handsome as well xD}
