Albert arrived at the guild and was greeted by Fila and the others. They seemed to know that Albert was planning to have a spar with Alisa, so they wanted to show their support.
"Yo, boy. Good luck with your fight today."
"Do your best."
"Never give up! I know you can do it."
Even though the counts for Horny People hadn't decreased, Albert was pretty flattered by their support. Unlike his previous life, he received some support from strangers.
"Thank you." Albert couldn't help but smile.
"The arena is behind this place." Fila pointed at the door next to the counter. "Follow me."
Albert nodded as he and all the guys followed her. Even though only Albert would be the one fighting, they also wanted to know Albert's strength, considering he managed to defeat so many goblins in a day.
When he reached the other side of the room, he soon found a small field. The field itself wasn't that big, but it was enough for two people to fight. He didn't see this field before because it had been hidden behind a sturdy wooden wall.
Alisa, wearing her armor and placing her sword on the ground, noticed Albert and said, "Let's not waste any more time."
"Ehm… I am sorry for making you wait." Albert scratched the back of his head. He thought he was late, considering everyone had already arrived here before him.
Fila suddenly came to him and whispered, "They were sleeping in the guild last night. Drinking too much."
"Ah?" Albert nodded in understanding, realizing he was just overthinking.
"In that case…" Albert walked to the field while the rest remained still on edge.
"Go, Boy!"
"I believe in you."
"Beat her."
"That's impossible."
"Hit her!"
Alisa ignored all of them and said, "I am a Swordsman, and I heard that you have no job. This is not a fair fight because I receive a power-up from my own job. Hence, I will set one more rule. As long as you can touch me, I will bring you to hunt the wolves."
"One touch!"
"You got this!"
"We will be cheering for you."
The guys kept shouting. Albert felt a bit overwhelmed by their support. However, it still amused him that many people of different races could sit together and be very supportive.
He nodded with a smile before his expression became serious as his eyes intertwined with Alisa's.
He raised his hand and summoned his Bonk Bat.
"Oh?" Alisa raised her eyebrows. "You have Space Affinity?"
"What's that?"
"I mean the one you use to store your weapon, it's usually called storage and it's very handy," Alisa explained.
"Is that so? I can only store this one thing though." Albert shook his head in disappointment.
"Hmm?" Alisa narrowed her eyes and advised, "Anyway, you shouldn't show that kind of thing easily and explain your power. If anyone has a bad intention, they will take advantage of this information. As I said earlier, it's a handy skill, so many want it. That's why I want to warn you to just hold the bat in your waist or back to avoid making unnecessary enemies. That's all."
"I understand. Thank you for your advice." Albert nodded with a smile. "I will be careful from now on."
"Good. Let's start, shall we?"
Albert raised his head and took a deep breath. "Yes."
"Attack me in any way you can since I will be on the defensive. You have fifteen minutes to hit me once. If you can't do it, then I won't bring you to hunt the wolves. Understand?"
"Yes." Albert clenched his bat tightly as he ran forward. "Here I come."
Albert waved his Bonk Bat from the right.
'Hmm? His steps are not that big, so he should be able to do any form of movement. It seems he has some knowledge about fighting, but his eyes tell me that he doesn't have enough experience. Well, to know Martial Art is a good thing since you only need the experience to polish it further. Now, it's time to see how strong his swing is.' Alisa took a deep breath and raised her sword to block the bat.
However, not a single person here would expect what happened next.
Bonk.
A loud sound echoed in the field as the bat generated force enough to push Alisa a few feet to the left.
All spectators dropped their jaws to the ground as if they had just witnessed the end of the world.
Alisa landed on the ground with a few small steps that immediately stabilized her stance before staring at Albert with a surprised expression. "He's this strong?"
"He has that much power?"
"This is surprising. To think he can blow Alisa away."
"This guy is strong."
"I am sorry, boy. I have underestimated you."
Alisa and Fila were impressed by Albert's strength. Alisa thought, 'If he gets more experience, he should be able to get far with this strength. Is this the reason why he chose a club instead of a sword? His strength can be used to crush his enemies…'
While Alisa was assessing Albert's performance, the man himself was getting some interesting information.
[Bonk is parried.]
'She's horny, what the—' Albert gulped down, never expecting that a chill-looking woman like her would be horny in a fight like this. 'Still, Bonk is parried means the opponent is horny, but my bonk is blocked by her sword, right?'
[Yes.]
'And she's the strongest person I have seen in this town… Just imagining how many EXP I can get by bonking her makes me excited. At the same time, this is an official test and I have the excuse to bonk her. This is my only chance.' Excitement filled his heart.
Alisa closed her eyes and said, "I have underestimated you. You are qualified to come with me. Good."
"No. This is not enough."
Hearing Albert's words, Alisa opened her eyes and soon frowned. Albert's eyes changed as if he was looking at his prey. Even her instinct was telling her that if she didn't get serious, she would suffer in this fight.
Albert raised his Bonk Bat and said, "You said I need to hit you once. I need to fulfill that requirement no matter what.. So, here I come."
