Chapter 121 - 114

[Ting! Emergency task: Escape from the Xiu Royal Palace within one minute.]

Zero was already used to this sudden pressuring of his system as he calmly stood up from his bed.

"System, what is the reward for this task?"

Zero knew that the system wouldn't respond yet he just wanted to talk to someone due to spending his time in the punishment trial because of the failed mission. He spent his three years there and now that he had awaken, he wanted someone to talk to despite having to talk to this system.

[…]

The black raven haired youth estimated the height of his room while looking through the window. He was fifteem feet high from the ground which was appropriate for him to jump.

[36 seconds remaining.]

Zero ignored the system as he jumped down with no hesitation. Simultaneously, the third princess opened the door while she carried her sweet smile. That tender smile that she had on her face turned into a confuse and into an alarm look.

She hurried out as she alerted the palace guards.

[Three pursuers at the west wing, two infront and one in the left wing.]

Currently, he was in the west wing which was the shortest way to get through the exit of the royal palace.

Zero wasn't into avoiding them as he waited for the three palace guards to arrived. He used his Cosmic Fire to hinder their path and left them immovable. That was just a small portion of his power as he didn't want to hurt anyone severely.

Seeing an opportunity, the young man immediately escaped while they suffered in his attack.

He successfully got away from them as the system notified him for completion.

[Emergency task completed. Reward partial memory deletion. Going back now.]

Zero had never heard a certain reward about getting your memory wiped out and what did this defected system meant about the word 'partial'?

Before he could complain and refuse the reward, he was sent back to the system space while the body was carried by the system to the new recruits of the Circus. The body had been set in an automatic mode until the proxy would arrive and that was the silver haired young man.

As Zero awaken from his deep slumber in the system space which was in sleep mode due to the host's long absence that caused for it to come back on its original state of blackness, as Chun stumbled upon the floating person in the black space.

Zero didn't remember about escaping from the palace as he only have a recollection to what he had suffered as he died in the Soul Tower. He thought that he could finally leave the space but the system dozed his hope with cold water as he had a task to cultivate for one year here leaving all of his fleeing situation to the silver haired young man.

---------

Chun had spent two weeks with the Circus, it had been well other than the continuous news regarding about the movements of the Royal Guards.

They were trusted soldiers of the King as General Mo Jianguo headed this group.

Currently they were heading to the outskirts of the capital city as they were invited there by a close acquaintance of their Master. Though, the Head Seats were hiding the fact about their Master's disappearance but the people in the Circus was becoming to be curious as they had never seen any shadow of their Master. Despite being careless and would suddenly disappear from time to time but Zero would still go back once a year.

But strangely, they never seen him for more that three years.

Degris was the one who initiated to drop by the place of the old man who Zero had been close to. He might lead a clue to them.

While others were busy on their stuff, the silver haired young man was in silent pondering as she started to feel something odd. When she closed her eyes an ȧssimilation of memories started pouring in her head, though she experienced it already, she couldn't help but grit her teeth and pain while minimizing any unnecessary noice.

They were travelling in their train carriage as they were going to perform to another city passing through the suburbs.

Even though Circus was known to be a mysterious organization and not knowing its true motive of goal but they were still popular when it came to stage and live performances. Every continent which would hear about the arriving of the Circus on their continent, they would feel joy from it and immediately sent out their eager invitation to hire the Circus to perform im their city.

Although, the mysteriousness of the organization couldn't hinder its fame enabling it to be in-demanb but still the Circus had been meticulous picker when it came to places they would be performing in.

The Circus staffs would start a meeting and proposals for the place locations, terrain and weather even the smallest bit of detail wouldn't be overlooked as they would need to submit it to Degris and the Master would be seeing it as well so they must perform good to please the Master.

The only common thing of the people in the Circus was their worshipped and adoration for their current head who was Zero.

Rumours were flying through that the Master wouldn't come back because he was in deep trouble or he had more important things to that rendered him to go back every year and there was some stated that the Master had just disappeared in thin air that caused the Circus people who heard this to be indignant to the person who was started those false rumors.

Knowing that it would cause the flames to burn within the organization if they knew that the Master had disappeared with no clue and his location was unknown, not even contacting them.

Unknown to them, that the person that they had been looking for was just a meter away from them, despite Chun was in possessed of the body, she was still impersonating Zero which she need to be more careful.

The silver haired young man was wearing her usual fox mask as she would sometimes smirked from hearing her fellow members to discuss senseless things.

But despite having to know those things, she wasn't able to see the holy face of the Creator. The man was tall and had a good body built due to his sturdy stature and other than that Chun guessed that he was an outstanding and very handsome higher deity, yet the visage of the holy Creator was something that Chun couldn't able to see due to the covering light in his face as if avoiding someone to peek on him.

The silver haired young man rested her head on the chair as she cherished this silent atmosphere. It had been days that she suffered in working her ȧss off to be in the good graces of her superior and establishing an image for herself which gave her an opportunity to gather fans of her own.

It was a battle of getting in the second year rank as being able to reach that would make them have many benefits, as their experienced seniors stated that being on respected ranks could make them experience the 'true secret of life.'

Chun had been a discerning individual with their motives of those who was brainwashing her fellow recruits . But the silver haired young man ignored them as no matter what their motive wss, Chun had already set her decision on making up her way to the higher years.

There wouldn't be thrill in life if she continued of dilly-dallying

By instincts, the silver haired young man felt an incoming attack to her as she immediately dodged to the left while her eyes close.

Well other than gaining fans, she was gaining enemies as well.

Chun opened her eyes as she looked at them with a hint of irritation hidden the depths of her eyes.

The stunning scarlet red colored eyes of the enchanting young man made the present spectators to feel their heart stirred from this display of beauty.

Deter was almost left in a daze while looking at the close proximity of the other. He didn't notices that the silver haired young man had stood up from her seat and they were staring now closely as they had the same height while Chun taunted the other.

The boy with short blonde hair snorted as he backed away from Chun as he stated, "You know that we are currently under a selection for going up a year level and today is our examination for the final listing for the recruits that would stay or leave."

Chun quirked her brows as she continued to listen to the blabber of Demeter.
