Chapter 134 - 127

Chun was able to see herself wearing a princely clothing if not for the mismatched patches of stitched pieces of cloth that covered the holes of the white suit. She was dressed in a cottoned long sleeves shirt with ruffles in the cuffs and a three unbottoned bottons - two of it were missing, only the third lower buŧŧon was attached poorly to its hole, hanging by a thread.

Even the black pants were faded in color, though the tight strong slender legs could break anyones' heart due to envy. Paired with that perfect willowy fair hands - now covered with wounds - and carefully crafted face by the gods, the silver haired young man would fit for a perfect prince portrayal. But sadly, her identity was someone forgotten by the Royal Family as they deemed her to be dead.

Who would survive the infamous Snow Palace?

Many people had heard stories about this popular forbidden place. It said about the haunted cries that would usually resounded at dawn, the simultaneous howling of the beast from the Concave Forest as it was just in the backyard of the said palace, and the sudden temperature drop and increase within the borders of the place. Even the cultivated vegetables and other source of food where unable to live in it.

His Majesty, the Supreme Ruler once sent his guards and servants there to look after the ninth prince but all of them went back scared with their wits end. So the Supreme Ruler sighed and gave up about his idea as he had more children to take care.

The world where the silver haired young man transmigrated was a place of magic. The humans who were tested compatible with elements during their five years of age were called Charmers. Charms were called for their abilities, and these people were under the rule of the Supreme Ruler.

In this world known as Terapika, the humans had only one ruler and one Royal Family; and the members of the Royal Family were excellent Charmers and only the ninth prince who was tested during his coming of age ceremony which was his fifth birthday, wasn't compatible to any element as the Charm Orb didn't alighted to any specific elemental colors.

Due to this world that valued Charmers and coming from the prestigious Royal Family, a direct descendant of the High Charmer Supreme Ruler - having dual elemental charms - the ninth prince was a humiliation to their household. In order to prevent public shame and revolt, the Supreme Ruler sent the pitiful five-year old kid straight to the Snow Palace.

Chun who read the story manual that was handed by the snobbish system, rolled her eyes in satire as she had many complaints with this rubbish world setting.

Although, it didn't state about any vengeful wishes of the original owner of the body which was odd because even Chun who was now playing the character was feeling lost by the plotholes.

The silver haired young man turned to Xuan who was silently devouring her caught fish.

"Hey, it's not cooked yet!" Chun stated as the fish was just being cook in the fire while the other was slowly poking some parts of it even though tinges of red could be seen in it.

Xuan ignored the other as he continued eating the fish. It was amazing to see that his hands were not burn by the fire.

"Are you being ridiculous?!"

"…"

"Alright, you won't speak but I need to ask you a question."

As if finally hearing the silver haired young man, Xuan stopped his ignorant behavior as he attentively looked at the other while raising his brow in question. 'What is it?'

"Why am I in the Concave Forest?" This had been bugging her. Why would the ninth prince who was told to be living alone in the Snow Palace, was in the dangerous Concave Forest?

"Oh, I forgot to tell you that the original body decided to look for his 'cat' as it didn't visit him anymore. In the middle of his search, he accidentally awaken the sleeping Nightmare beast which was the guardian of the forest and then…where you have woke up was the continuation."

Xuan shrugged as he stood up, deciding to do something else. Before he could go, the silver haired young man asked him again.

"Are you leaving me?" Chun was hopeful that as her system, he should be with her 24/7 because that was supposed to be, right?

The snobbish system smirked with amusement as he replied, "I'm not your babysitter and don't worry, I will be there when you really needed me."

"Then, will others see you as well?"

"No." His firm respond left Chun in doubt. So if Xuan couldn't be seen by anyone then it meant that she would be crazy in others' eyes.

But before that, she would first fill her stomach with the--- Maybe, she would just eat fruits in passing while she walked back to the said place.

Chun started her travel on foot to her destination, leaving the half-eaten burnt fish in the died flames.

As the silver haired young man was meters away from the campfire, a silhouette of a gray feline went out from the violet bushes as it stalked the fish. While it chewed in delight, its two tails went out from its disguise as her appearance wasn't like any normal cat, her three tails swayed side by side while the fish was immediately consumed in a blink of an eye.

The Nightmare beast licked its paws as she looked where the human left. She wasn't happy that her precious human forgot to look for her.

'I'm in a good mood right now so I will give that human a chance.' She thought as she followed the trail Chun had left. Every plants and hiding beasts that she passed by would bow their heads to her with reverence. As a Nightmare beast, guardian of the Concave Forest, she enjoyed her dignified life. Such a pity that handsome young man didn't know about her.

Xuan looked with boredom to the happenings from afar as he shook his head and disappeared from his position.

The Concave Forest could be called enchanted due to the weird colors of the leaves and the ground. The trees were supporting numbers of violet shaped like feathers leaves while the ground was brown with shimmering glinting dots.

Chun used her foot to uncover the strange ground and saw that the ground was magically contained bits of golden dust. How was it like this?

The forest was suprisingly cool which was different from what had described to be dangerous.

Fortunately, the silver haired young man wouldn't know the great dangers of the forest, other than experiencing the challenge she was put through due to the Nightmare beast, because the Nightmare beast herself had already marked this human as her target so no one would dare to be foolish.

Safe and sound, Chun was able to walk out with no bruise as she finally saw the back view of the palace which was structured as a huge old mansion. Though, the flowers and decorations that were put for design were clean and organized which giving a comfortable vibe to the Snow Palace.

Before Chun stepped near the palace, she was watchful to any dangers hidden, knowing that this wolf in a sheep's clothing palace was full of danger.

Even that hanging washed clothes there were strangely out of place and that marbled table had a steaming pot of tea that she wanted to sip but perhaps hidden dangers was preventing her.

The Nightmare beast who followed the silver haired young man rolled her eyes at the vigilant youth and transformed herself into her human form.

Chun felt a touch on her shoulder as she turned around with surprise. Her left cheek was poke by an outstretched index finger as the woman in servant clothing greeted with her sweet smile.

"Welcome back, Feng!"

The beautiful woman had jet black long hair with straight bangs and the tips of her black hair had grayish hue. She stared with loving black jaded eyes to the silver haired young man which made Chun felt her reddened ears as she involuntarily covered it with her hands.

Looking at the stupidly cute reaction of the other, Ara chuckled while her feline beast inside laughed with amusement. This human was funny.

Weirdly, she had thought that the ninth prince was different earlier in the forest but now, she realized that it was still the same person. That cute reaction was his.

Feng Hunan was a timid shy boy but he would sometimes do reckless things if he would decided his mind in it. A good irony for a cowardly brave person.

Although his personality was a bit difficult but Chun decided to slowly develop her character as she would step into the Charm Excellence, a school for elite charmers but first she needed to familiarize herself with this charmers and charms which was foreign to her.

And this lady was the answer to her problem.

Being suddenly looked by those scarlet red eyes, instead of being creep by it, Ara felt her heart softened from this child.
