Chapter 133 - 126

The brunette young man turned around as the gentle features replaced with prominent ones, clean cut brown hair, sword-edged brows, eminent straight nose, angular jaw and that bone-chilling look from his dark snobbish eyes was a handsome man to boot.

"W-what? What are you talking?"

Xuan was unperturbed by this exaggerated reaction as he introduced himself, nonchalantly.

"I'm your snobbish roommate Xuan, a third year world traveller but my true identity is a system who guides world travellers as they act as a host. Hi! I'm System 001, nice to meet you."

The silver haired young man stared in disbelief as the information started to ȧssimilate in her head.

It was like a twirling wind slowly coming in her mind as Chun processed the identity that she had. Though, Chun was still in doubt as she looked at the bored expression of her so-called system.

"You may be wrong there. You're just a temporary host because you have triggered a hidden quest that supposed to be under development and this is part of the test."

Xuan's careless tone was indirectly blaming the silver haired young man. In fact, the snobbish guy came from his mission in the fourth world and at the middle of claiming the life of the villain, he was suddenly called out to switch with another world traveller as he was needed in an urgent matter. So urgent that he wasn't brief by anything and immediately sent to act as an Alpha.

Imagine that he was in a medieval world were the fight for throne was the conflict of the setting and as a cliché character design; abandoned because of being a waste, he ascended with his own strength and also with the help of some external forces. After two years of staying in that world due to the story plot timeline, he focused on training his swordsmanship and studying war strategy and politics, he attained his goal and just a step to being declare as the next heir to the throne. But as he was about to kill the villain who was the final obstacle for succession, he was suddenly interrupted by an alarm in his mind, saying that he was to abandon the mission as others would finish it for him.

If it wasn't for Xuan's cool-headedness, he already cursed the Head Seats; specifically that eyebags guy who was monitoring the mother system.

The innocent Ryder: should I kill Blu now?

Metaphorically speaking, you have known the struggle of a baby bird - a developing baby bird. Being fed by the mother bird with hard earned food and as it grew its wings, it started to walk and perched away from its nest, flapping its wings slowly as it was getting used to it and begun to practice its flying through flapping those tinie-tiny wings. Days would passed by and finally the pair of wings regained strength to carry its own body but once the excited bird calmed its breathing and was ready to fly, the mother bird stopped it as she warned the baby bird that it will get hurt because sadly, the baby bird was innately have weak muscles that it would be useless for it to fly suspended in air because it will fall down on its own despite any practice.

That was the feeling that Xuan experienced when he realized that his points wouldn't be accumulated due to his unfinished mission.

At first, when he saw that he was fighting with a short haired lady in a traditional clothing, he expected her to be the one who triggered the hidden quest but unexpectedly it was that silver haired young man who was also his stupid eavesdropping roommate.

Since he saw the guy, he strangely knew disaster would come forth but he didn't know that it would be directed to him. How unfortunate.

"So…what do you mean about that?" Chun was more focused in her curiosity as she looked at the snobbish system in inquiry.

"I'll explain it to you after you overcome your demons…" as if it was the trigger of the withhold darkness.

The silver haired young man dropped to the ground, the dried leaves and rough dirt smothered her white longsleeves shirt as she once again was brought to hell.

Gripping her ċhėst as she felt that knives were stabbing her heart, her neck was being choked by those bony disjointed hands, and her vision was enveloped with gloom and emptiness. Then she blacked out.

The whistling windbreeze ċȧrėssed the slumbering silver haired young man, she was laying in a blossoming variation of flowers as she was in a peaceful resting position. The view could truly bring comfort to once mind if not for the frowning snobbish system beside the silver haired youth.

It was early morning, Xuan was 'cooking' (burning) a burnt piece of meat. He 'unintentionally' blew the smokes towards the sleeping person while maintaining his naive expression.

Chun awaken in series of coughing due to the gathered black smokes around her. She turned her head to the culprit as she saw the other was eating the burnt meat.

Xuan saw Chun was walking away while ignoring his show, he spit out the blackened meat and threw away what he was holding as he followed the silver haired young man.

As a dedicated system, he must follow wherever his host went in order to prevent any inconvenient event.

Chun washed her face on the clear river while she inspected her it. In what she have known that she was currently the forgotten prince which she would have a different face or body but surprisingly, she was still in Zero's body which was also good because she wouldn't waste time of getting use to it.

The reflection in the water was still the red scarlet eyes, and soft silver hair. Although, Chun had wished that it was her own body but well, it was just her wishful thinking.

She was Feng Hunan who was the forgotten ninth prince, living in the Snow Palace located near the Concave Forest. Although, she got her identity but she had no idea what was her mission.

The snobbish system who finally arrived to his host, felt a sudden questioning stare from the silver haired young man.

"Your mission is simple, you're going to be admitted in Charm Excellence and you need to be a top scorer in every tests and even in the 25th Annual Charm Competition, you have to be the champion."

'Isn't that so simple?' Chun thought with sarcasm as she gave her best fake smile to the snobbish system.

"Can I pass?"

"Then you will get kicked out from the Circus…"

'Well, I realized that being a performer in the organization is hard so I decided just to go in Sereign and reclaim my body!'

Chun wouldn't voice it out but she finally got clear-headed. 'Why didn't I think about it?'

Yet Xuan's continuation diminished all of her hopeful thoughts.

"…and it's too late now, even you're just a temporary world traveller. The rule still applies."

"What rule?" Chun asked while she started to fold her sleeves, deciding to try her luck in capturing a fish.

"Once you are sent to another world/dimension/realm, you must finish the tasks; successful or not, if you want to leave unless there's an urgent summon from the higher-ups."

Splash!

Was it because of her clumsiness or hearing that bad news?

The drenched silver haired young man suddenly remembered something.

"Right, did you see my companion?"

Xuan tilted his head in recollection and answered, "Oh, that fierce girl? She's still in the simulation."

---------

On the other side,

Earlier.

Yu In Na was quiet as she followed the brunette young man with Chun. She was observing her surroundings while they walked, imprinting every objects in her line of sight. The short haired girl was immersed in her own world as she didn't notice any strange.

The warmth of the afternoon heat drew to its end as it changed with the orange skies. A comforting wisp of the wind danced with the feathered greenish leaves surrounding their environment. Crisps of the dry leaves resounded beneath the feet of the three people travelling on foot as they followed the path where Nala and his group had stayed.

Yu In Na almost bumped her nose to the silver haired young man's back before her as the other suddenly stopped her walk.

'Silver haired young man?'

The kimono girl was momentarily in a daze as she regained her senses as if what happened earlier was just a dream.

She noticed that the brunette youth halted his steps as he waited for her. Yu In Na neared Nala while she asked in a dazzled tone, "Umm… did you see a silver haired boy with echanting aura?"

Nala creased his forehead as he shook his head and suddenly astonishment filled his expression.

"You mean a Faire? Where did you saw it?"

"Huh? Faire? Oh, I must be imagining things. Let's get going."

"O-Okay."

Yu In Na continued to follow but she looked behind her as if in lost. Then she retained her calm and caught up to the brunette.
