Chapter 132 - 125

The quiet short haired girl widened her eyes as she dragged her pig teammate away from the starry-eyed brunette.

"What are you thinking? We only have tomorrow for the end duration of our first task! We would be wasting time!" Yu In Na stated in a hysterical manner as she didn't want to fail her only chance and now she got dragged to a pit because of this silver haired youth.

If she knew that her curiosity would lead her to this then she wouldn't have stick to Chun due to interest and boredom.

Chun was amused to the nervous face of the kimono girl as this was her first time to see her like this. She easily broke her cold and introverted nature.

Instead of being bewildered, the silver haired young man smiled as she stated, "We will not participate in it anymore."

Yu In Na frowned as she heard that, "Why?"

"The system already issued."

Finally, she realized the point of the silver haired youth. She sighed in relief and started to consider their next course of actions.

Chun neared the brunette youth as he waited for them to finish their talk.

"You can lead the way."

The Alpha nodded as he begun to walk infront while Chun and Yu In Na followed.

They ignored the two missing fellow players as they were focused on their task in hand. They had no time to waste and they knew that those two wouldn't die, they might fail but their life wouldn't perish.

The only thing that the players overlooked was the red haired young man who was observing them from a blindspot. He was not obligated to do the task as he was the moderator.

While Ryder was relaxing, suddenly he felt his heartbeat quickened due to the sudden loud ring of the system notification. He looked around if the players heard it but they just continued what they were doing as they weren't aware of the loud noise.

It was a call from the outside.

Looking that it was that brat, Ryder frowned and answered, "What is it now?"

"Someone triggered a hidden quest."

Ryder almost revealed himself from his hiding spot as he was shocked about this information. Calming himself, he asked.

"So is it bad or good?"

So the Circus was truly capable of overcoming the restrictions as they were able to bring a race that came from another world.

The more the silver haired young man thought about it, her mind was enveloped in disarray, a ray of mysticism and in matter of interest.

She smirked as she trudged with her walk while her eyes were focused to the brunette young man infront who was guiding them.

The harmless-looking boy was lean in physique, exuded a gentle yet subservient aura. His brown curly hair unintentionally formed a pair of ears on his head, even his smile embodied the vibe that you can offend him however you want but he will forgive you like a saint. Chun's overall evaluation to the other was a such an unsuitable character as an Alpha. Although, his beast could sent tingles and chills in your spine as if you would meet death but it was still the beast not the human.

But he was a perfect description for a wolf in a sheep's skin.

The warmth of the aftenoon heat drew to its end as it changed with the orange skies. A comforting wisp of the wind danced with the feathered greenish leaves surrounding their environment. Crisps of the dry leaves resounded beneath the feet of the three people travelling on foot as they followed the path where Nala and his group had stayed.

Darkness enveloped their way as Chun sensed that they had stepped on a hidden formation array.

She tried to slow her breath as the rampaging beats of her heart was flooding her mind. Her unfocused gaze directed to the back of the harmless brunette young man as she somehow could see him despite the darkness.

Snap!

Immediately, the darkened surrounding regained light but what the silver haired young man saw was the inconspicuous place. If one would not intently observe the current setting, they wouldn't differentiate it from the former forest that they were in, few seconds ago.

It was night time as the dusk left the twilight. The same yet different forest. The wind blow from the east to west but now it was blowing in reverse. And another thing that could confirm Chun's conjecture was the kimono girl that she was with earlier was nowhere in sight.

Although, the silver haired young man wanted to keep her cool, she was daunted to the unsettling environment.

As the vivid violet leaves brushed each other, it created a whistling rustle and it made the silver haired young man's pulse quickened; blowing out a series of short breaths to gain control. Silhouettes of the tall trees around her turned into mystifying creatures of the night.

Chun had never felt this kind of terror, usually she would be at ease in this type of situation as her butler would always by her side but now, she realized what was it to be unprotected and no one to rely on.

Truthfully, the start of knowing that she was in an unfamiliar place where her butler wasn't present, Titus couldn't be reach, Xiao Fen as well and even her family household. The silver haired young man wanted to vomit as her stomach was churning in pain and her ċhėst tightened with anxiety.

Her fake facade of enjoying the moment, taking all of the inevitable with a peace of mind was just a mask to not breakdown and show her weakness. A weakness that she hated, she loathed herself for being reliant to others and being overconfident of having fortune to be in a powerful household, having a divine bloodline and nothing to worry every single day as it was already taken care of her butler. And added to the fact that she had unlocked her deity powers and able to contract with a legendary thunder bird.

One could say that she was truly an overpowered character, anyone would want to be in her position. Yet all of these things were just walls for her emptiness. She never got to experience being crushed in someone's feet or being denied with humility. Chun can be called a 'Son of Heaven' with her very good circumstances but that was it as now she was left here like a child with no clothes amidst the roaring winds and clashing thunders.

How will she overcome her weakness?

The brunette young man turned around as the gentle features replaced with prominent ones, clean cut brown hair, sword-edged brows, eminent straight nose, angular jaw and that bone-chilling look from his dark snobbish eyes was a handsome man to boot.

"Roommate, aren't you bored from clutching your head?" That deep unbothered voice stunned the silver haired young man from reverie.

"How? Why are you here?"

Xuan, her snobbish roommate was suspiciously present. Instead of being happy from having someone familiar with her, she didn't let her guard down as she was ready to attack to any false movements that the other would do.

The snobbish man rolled his eyes as he sighed in defeat, "There's no use of using your powers here. This is the Concave Forest and currently your identity is a forgotten prince of the Snow Palace. But looking from your situation, you are a prince who is a step to death's door."

The statements that Xuan said was like a snail in the silver haired young man's mind; slow to move, slow to process. As if using a star screwdriver on a flat-headed screw.

Chun was keeping her sanity from this current unsetting space but what the snobbish guy had spouted left her in the middle of being insane.

"W-what? What are you talking?"

Xuan was unperturbed by this exaggerated reaction as he introduced himself, nonchalantly.

"I'm your snobbish roommate Xuan, a third year world traveller but my true identity is a system who guides world travellers as they act as a host. Hi! I'm System 001, nice to meet you."

The friendly greeting was out of place with that bored face. An expression 'so-many-talking-let's-just-get-going-already!'

But Chun ignored that unwelcoming face as she asked in disbelief, "Then I'm your host and am currently in an alternate world?!"

This discovery stunned the silver haired young man as it was more disturbing than her current pain.
