Jason saw from the corner of his eyes that she has her towel on her now before looking at her again "where is it?" He asked softly.
"It crawled out through the door" she pouted with tears still evident in her eyes.
Jason walked closer to her then and squatted beside her, his hands wiped away her wet hair from her face, he smiled "I'm pretty sure it's gone now."
"I don't think so" she refused to believe.
Jason sighed "you still want to go back to the shower?" He asked and she nodded softly. He got up and filled the tub for her, he then bent and picked her up. The towel covered only her front, leaving her back exposed. Feeling that soft skin in his palms, Jason felt his body slowly lighting on fire, it took all the self restraint in him to avert from caressing her backbone and just then, the incident of yesterday flashed in his mind, when he caressed her backbone and how she shuddered. He shook his head and slowly lay her inside the tub and turning to walk away when she grabbed his arm.
"Jason...I'm scared" she whispered and he turned to look at her again.
"I will be in the room" he smiled.
"Can't you stay here, so that if the cockroach comes back, you can easily kill it."
Jason bit his lip, stay and watch her take her bath? Just kill him now, he thought before giving her a gentle smile "I will be right outside the door" he reached for another dry towel and kept it within reach for her.
"No, dust it off, the cockroach came out of this one" she insisted, pointing to the towel that is still covering her in the tub and he chuckled before doing exactly that, when nothing happened, he smiled and dropped the towel for her and left the bathroom.
Anna sighed when he left and closed her eyes but then she remembered the size of that cockroach and opened them immediately, she scrubbed her body quickly and stood up from the tub, tied the towel around her and not without dusting it off again. She stepped out of the tub and her ankle hurts, she yelped and that got Jason back into the bathroom.
"Are you okay?" He asked worried.
"I think I sprained my ankle with the fall" she complained limping. Jason walked closer to her and carried her out of the bathroom, he helped her sit on the bed before reaching for another towel in her drawer to dry her hair.
"You think you can manage to dress yourself?" He asked when he finished drying her hair.
"I will try" although she wished he would dress her but that is not something she should ask from her brother. Jason sighed and bent to look at her ankle, he gently massaged it but she winced and grabbed onto his shirt tightly. Jason knew there was nothing wrong with her action but it's seriously turning him on and it's not helping that she is just sitting there with nothing but a towel around her.
He really need to leave this room before he does something stupid, he thought. He got up and left for his room, returning again with a balm and bent to her ankle again, he gently applied the balm before slowly and gently massaging her ankle again. This time Anna didn't try to stop him, although it hurts still but she is also enjoying the feeling of his hand on her body and tingling sensation it gives her.
Jason left her room later to prepare a hot soup for her and also to calm this desire that seems to want to evolve around him, he just can't understand this anymore, his body seems to react whenever she is around him unlike before. Although he still feels her presence before but it's just worse now, a little touch from her and he is aroused, oh heaven please help him, just what sin has he committed in his previous life to be punished like this?
Days turned to weeks and Jason's birthday finally arrived, his mother wanted to throw a party for him but he rejected it, he will be going to college soon and needs to save as much as he could and that was what he told his mother which she understood but they still had a little family get together party for him and he also cut the cake that Anna baked for him and which had bought his heart to her more.
Jason found himself praying for his acceptance letter to come, the more he stays in his parents home the more afraid he becomes with each passing day because his love for his sister is finally driving him nuts and he fears that one day, he might not be able to control himself anymore. Weeks later, Jason acceptance letter finally arrived and he was accepted in Cambridge just where he wants to go. Maybe out of sight out of mind will work for him judging by the fact he will be staying four years outside home, he really can't wait to go, his sister is driving him crazy.
Everybody was happy about his going to college, well everybody except Anna who was not happy that he would be leaving the country. Veronica made Jason promise that he will be coming back during holidays but Jason knew within him that he is not going to. Maybe four years of not seeing his sister will finally make him to wake up from this fantasy of his, he really wish it will happen so.
Preparations were made and finally, the day for his departure arrived, the whole family followed him to the airport including Josh and Peirce who weren't leaving the country for their own school. Goodbyes were said and Jason made Anna promise him that she will take care of herself and do her home works on time. He hugged her and tried to remember how it feels for he knows he won't be hugging her any time soon, and soon is going to be a long time.
Anna really wanted to tell him how she feels that day but couldn't because not only will he see how stupid and foolish she had been, their parents were also around as well as his friends and she found herself promising herself that comes what may, the day she sees him again will be the day she will put an end to her suffering, if he is going to hate her, it will only be for some time, she knows and believe deep in her bones that no matter how angry he will be at her, he will never report her to their parents, he never did and he never will because no matter how annoyed or angry he might be with her, he will not like to see her hurt and so, she is going to take the advantage of his care and love for her to tell him how he makes her feel.
She waved goodbye to him as a tear slipped from her eyes, the next time she sees him, he might smile lovingly at her or he might frown at her but whichever it is, she knows that their next meeting will either bring them closer or tear them apart, but she is ready to give her all for she can't leave like this anymore.
The family turned and walked to their car after saying goodbye to Jason, there all know that their home is not going to be as it use to be, Jason has never been away from home, but it's for the best.
Jason hailed down a cab, gave his address and got in. He took a long intake of breath before letting it out slowly, he miss her, oh God he miss her. When he left home, he has left with the idea, out of sight out of mind, he thought it was going to work for him but he was wrong, so damn wrong. He miss her like never before, this past three years of his life was the worst, every single day he wish he could see her, could talk to her, even if it's in the littlest way possible, to touch her.
Everyday of his life was like hell, his new friends in school thought he was always moody and don't like socializing but the truth of the matter was that he had started missing his sister right in the plane and it has gone on like that for three years and four months, only heaven knows how he survived, each day he missed her more than the last and it tormented him. He had told himself that it's just because its the first time he is leaving her side, that he will cope, he can do it and that four years will pass by in the blink of an eye.
Even he is also surprised how he lasted for three years, he needs to give himself an award for being able to survive such torture and torment his heart and mind was giving him. He speaks with his mother almost everyday, his dad called once in a while but his sister? Well, he never let himself call her and sometimes he purposely miss her call, he had told himself that if he really wants to stop loving her then he must detach himself from her at least this four years of being away from home.
