While the two half-siblings were waging war against each other inside his mind Wen Qinxi was struggling to keep calm under his colleagues' gazes. If he had known things would end this way, he would have just stayed at home and let Qie Ranzhe do whatever he pleased. At least they would have been confined to the four walls of the apartment with no prying eyes.
But it was already too late and there was no use in crying over spilt milk. Wen Qinxi could literally feel people's gazes boring into his skin. Recalling the rumours that circulated when he first joined the company, Wen Qinxi couldn't help but slide down his car seat to avoid people's stares.
They hadn't even exited the car but they were already subjected to onlookers' scrutiny. That's because Qie Ranzhe's car was too eye-catching and everyone knew that was their boss's car. Apart from the driver, Li Menxie and Qie Ranzhe himself no one else had had the privilege of accompanying the boss on a drive all except the reclused nerd, Wen Qinxi.
As soon as Qie Ranzhe parked the car in the square in front of GameX, he drew the attention of his employees. GameX was a company that permitted their employees to work in creative spaces which meant one wasn't confined to a 14 square meter space cubicle. One could work in the canteen, on a hammock, ball chair or the garden in the square as long as they brought results that's all that mattered.
This unconventional office setting brought about great results. But it was for this reason that Wen Qinxi realised the flaw in the plan which was no matter what time of the day it was, there would always be people around the square and they saw him pull up with the boss. In any other normal office environment at this hour, the common areas would be empty but not at GameX.
It seemed after this the rumours would graduate from a tiny flame to a blazing California fire in a matter of seconds. "Shit!" he thought sliding down in an awkward posture while looking up to the car window.
Qie Ranzhe raised a brow peering at his weirdo boyfriend sliding down like he owed someone money. "What? Did you borrow money from a loan shark to play online mahjong?" he asked in a teasing tone. He had caught Wen Qinxi playing online a couple of times but it wasn't a serious issue because they would be betting anime figurines and manga but his reaction now had him suspicious.
"What? No, no, that's not it... it's, it's just that laozi is not a fuckin kept man," replied Wen Qinxi while peeking through the window. "Can you drop me off at the coffee shop one street over and I will walk back," he said finally turning to look at his boyfriend who didn't seem pleased by his request.
Qie Ranzhe was denied access, shown a weird AV and now he was being shunned all in one morning. This triple kill was too much for the CEO and he wasn't the type to fold easily. "You look suspicious now. Just act natural and no one will care," explained Qie Ranzhe unbuckling his seat belt before placing his hand on the door handle.
"Yeah right, like I would believe that..... wait, wait what are you doing?" asked Wen Qinxi when he saw his shameless boss opening the door, "Shit! You could have dropped me off elsewhere.... damn it."
The last part of his sentence was said while watching Qie Ranzhe walk around the car towards his door. Qie Ranzhe walked over to his window and knocked while threatening, "Are you going to come out or you are waiting for me to open the door for you? I wonder what sort of things they would say when they watch me open the car door for you."
Defeated, Wen Qinxi opened the door while grumbling, "Okay, okay fine. No need to take things that far," before walking over to the boot of the car to get his laptop bag.
He tried to reduce his presence striding towards the elevator to get away from people's prying eyes. But as long as Qie Ranzhe was by his side there was no way of avoiding it. There was no use fighting the inevitable.
The two men walked shoulder to shoulder towards the elevator maintaining a calm demeanour. Who knows what was going on in Qie Ranzhe's mind but the nerd was panicked and as soon as the elevator doors closed a huge wave of relief washed over him.
But that sense of relief was short-lived because Qie Ranzhe pressed the emergency button bringing the elevator to a steady stop. He then pressed Wen Qinxi against the wall and began to kiss him like a thirsty beast that had just found an oasis.
Ripples of sensational delirium spread all over Wen Qinxi's body at the touch of their lips. This was what he desired the most and Qie Ranzhe could satisfy his needs so why would he hold back? He enthusiastically wrapped his arms around Qie Ranzhe's neck as a subtle moan escaped his throat.
As though driven insane by this man's enthusiasm, Qie Ranzhe held either side of Wen Qinxi's waist drawing him closer till their bodies stuck together. His already calm member couldn't resist the stimulation standing as straight as a ramrod. It was obvious what he wanted. He wanted to claim his lover right now right here.
Qie Ranzhe's hands found their way under Wen Qinxi's clothes fondling and caressing the man's hot skin. He had only meant to express his dissatisfaction towards Wen Qinxi for refusing to be seen with him but things quickly escalated to something else. Something more exciting. He wanted to turn Wen Qinxi over and fuck him so hard till he couldn't remember his own name.
But this was an elevator after all so he couldn't defile his lover here at least not in broad daylight. He also didn't want anyone to see his lover's enticing body through the camera so he held back.
But Wen Qinxi on the other hand was so intoxicated losing himself to his desires while repressing the terrible gut feeling that kept jabbing at him ceaselessly. He wanted to be fucked so bad that he couldn't help but grind against the man's hardened member.
"Hello, is there anyone there? Its elevator maintenance. Ahem.... is there an emergency?" said a croaky voice coming from the speaker attached to the elevator panel.
Qie Ranzhe stopped kissing Wen Qinxi to the nerd's disappointment and straightened his lover's clothes. Qie Ranzhe embraced Wen Qinxi in a tight hug as he replied, "We are good. No need to worry," before pressing the button to restart the elevator. Qie Ranzhe then lay his head in the crevice of Wen Qinxi's neck taking in his scent while tightening his hug.
"I love you, baby," he whispered melting the nerd's heart into a puddle. Just as he said this, the elevator made a dinging sound letting its occupants know that their private time was over.
Wen Qinxi quickly got out of Qie Ranzhe's embrace and feigned calmness while straightening his clothes but he couldn't conceal those swollen lips and shaky legs.
