8 Making a Deal

Fan MeiLi kept a calm expression on her face while talking to Adam Yu, but inside she was super nervous. While the guy might be a great hacker in the underground world he was also short tempered. If she had no other choice she would stay away from such a guy but he really was good at computers.

While Fan MeiLi was coming up ways to get Adam Yu on her side and keep him in a good mood, he was also observing Fan MeiLi. He never would have believed that the person who had taken away his crown would be such a pretty young lady. What surprised him the most was that this amazing hacker needed his help and she located him.

"Young miss, we have been talking for a while but you never mention what you need from me." Adam Yu asked.

"As you know I'm good at computers but I don't like my name known to most but you are famous at putting secrets in public."

Adam Yu was getting more curious by her words and really wanted to know what she was going to ask him.

"Mr. Yu, how about we make a deal to work together?"

"A deal?"

"That's correct. I have some information that I need to send to a very important person but I absolutely can't be found out, that is where you come in."

"So you want me to be a delivery boy." Adam Yu stated while his face turned dark.

"No! If you became my middle man this time I could help you locate Kang Sena."

Adam Yu got shocked by what Fan MeiLi said and he felt his heart clenched when he heard the name, Kang Sena. While hacker Rose was a person he wanted to find because she beat him when it came to computers but Kang Sena had his heart. His family has a set plan for him so they got rid of anything that they believe would ruin him or the family name. Kang Sena was his school sweetheart and they made many plans but she was taken out of the country by his grandmother. To get even a hint of where they hid her had his heart feeling a little lighter.

"Do you really know where Kang Sena is?"

"Hard to say, do we have a deal or not?" Fan MeiLi asked with a warm smile.

He didn't know if joining hands with this mysterious lady was a good idea but he couldn't take the risk of not being able to find his lost love.

"Young miss we have a deal, but if you betray me or if this a lie I'll make you pay." Adam Yu said holding out his hand.

Fan MeiLi took his hand with a bright smile, "Don't worry Mr. Yu, I'm sure we can have a long successful business relationship along the road."

In the busy underground bar as people were dancing and chatting, two people joined a partnership that would soon be known as one of the most powerful information groups.

Fan MeiLi's Apartment

After coming home from the Fire Star, Fan MeiLi dug through her boxes and found her black laptop. Sitting on the sofa she stared at the laptop and sighed out loud, she thought that she would never have to use this skill again. Powering up her laptop she saw the black rose symbol that she used to gain information all around the world. Taking a deep breath and putting on a serious face she began to work, looking through all the information about the Hansoo group.

Three hours later...

Fan MeiLi had a USB that had a huge takeover plan aimed at the Hansoo group and the Li family, it was really well hidden but luckily she overheard those two employees. A frowned form on her face and a dark aura surround her, that male employee was right and if this plan with through it would destroy the Hansoo group forever.

Usually, she wouldn't mind and would stay away from power struggles but if this plan succeeds it would take jobs away from hundreds of regular employees. Closing the laptop she got up and pour herself a glass of wine, and looked out the window. Fan MeiLi knew she had to be careful because a lot of powerful families were backing this takeover.

She put the glass of wine down and grab her phone and sent a text to Mr. Yu, she did her part and now had to pray that he would keep his part of the deal. Looking at the moon outside she wonder how the number one businessman in China will deal with such scheming people.
