9 Setting a Trap 1

Hansoo Group (Morning)

Li Wei was so angry that he wanted to punish anyone who got in his way, all from the information he received when he got to work. Last night he got a weird email explaining that someone wanted to ruin his company but he ignored it. Li Wei has made enemies on his way to the top so he wasn't worried about some plot because he would take them down. That was how he felt but after reading the countless documents about a plan that would lead him to a dead end had him raging with fury.

He closed his eyes with a frown on his face and a headache forming from all of the information. Hearing a knock on his door he opened his eyes to see Mo Han entered with a nervous expression on his face.

"Did you figure out who sent me this USB?" Li Wei asked.

"No sir, it was sent by a courier service but the sender was paid by another person. Whoever got this information really didn't want to be found."

"No one can hide forever, I'll find them sooner or later. Now, we have to focus on killing the insects that are crawling around my company." Li Wei said standing up and looking out his window.

"I looked through the information given and everything turned out to be true, and the paper company has been active for two years.

"So someone on the board is the mastermind."

"Do you have any idea who it could be, sir?" Mo Han asked.

Letting out a dark chuckle Li Wei faced Mo Han, "Of course I know, while many on the board fear me there is only one who wishes to have everything I own."

"Sir, do you mean?"

"That's right."

Mo Han had a smile on his face and he started to shake his head, "What do you wish to do now?"

Li Wei sat back down and a cold glint formed in his eyes, "Since they wish to play, we'll let them enjoy a fun game."

Fan MeiLi walked into the company and felt the high tension and gloomy mood from the employees. Going to the elevator she saw a group of people near the bulletin board and went over to take a glance. That was where she saw the notice on the board talking about how the company would hold a grand gala to introduce their new product. What really got her attention was the part where it was mention that all employees must attend or risk their jobs.

Getting on the elevator she had to keep her emotions calm as a huge burden has been put off her shoulders. Luckily the CEO wasn't as bad as she heard and was going to stop this plan before it started. Of course, Fan MeiLi had no idea that Li Wei was setting a trap that would make many wish they were dead.

Arriving at the mail room she saw Mr.Wang went a bright smile on his face when he notices Fan MeiLi he walked over with joy.

"Miss Fan, did you hear about the gala?

"I did but why are you so happy?" Fan MeiLi asked putting her purse down.

"You just started here but let me informed you that it's rare to get invited to events hosted by the company. I can't wait to surprise my wife, she loves big parties."

Fan MeiLi could only smile by the middle age man's happy expression, but she didn't feel the same excitement. Why she was happy the company would be safe she didn't want to attend such a big scale event, where she might meet some unwanted people.

Letting out a silent sigh, Fan MeiLi just quieted her mind and focused on her work, knowing there was no way to get out of going. Besides, she had another project to worry about and that was the location of Kang Sena.
