10 Setting a Trap 2

XX Apartment Building

A man paced back and forward in a messy apartment with papers dropped everywhere on the floor and red face. Hearing a rapped knocking on the door had him opening it with a worried face and an angry heart. Seeing a female with a pale face enter the room, he checked to see if she was alone and closed the door. The female sat down and was shaking from fear and anger about what she just recently learned.

"What do we do now?" The man asked sitting down.

"I don't know! Li Wei must have figured out what we are planning."

"How! We were able to keep everything secret for so long and everything was going to be done. So how did he figure it out?" The man yelled standing up with fury.

The female just looked at him as he yelled and started to turn red and couldn't believe everything was going to fail after so many years.

"You two should keep calm, everything is not over yet." A man in a blue suit stated walking into the apartment.

When the two saw this high profile guy entered they stood up with so many questions forming in their heads. They needed answers but mostly needed a safety net in case their plan failed and Li Wei caught them.

The man in the blue suit smiled, "You two are so easy to read, that's why you need to calm yourselves. Even if he figured out what we planned it's too late to stop what is in motion."

"Li Wei is more daring than anyone in the business world, he won't let something like this succeed."

"She is right, this gala the company is throwing is his trap."

The man in the blue suit chuckled, "I know it's a trap but so what. I'll just make this joyous event a funeral for Li Wei."

The female looked at him with hopeful eyes, "What are you going to do?"

"Just act natural and have fun at the gala, before that night is over there will be a great drama to watch." He stated with a wicked smile.

The two employees looked at each other both with different emotions going through their hearts. The Hansoo group's grand gala will be held in two weeks for the unveiling of their new product is what most of the public knew. To a select few they understood that a battle would take place and the Hansoo group would change for the better or for the worse.

Fan MeiLi's Apartment (Night)

Sitting in her bedroom, crossed leg on her bed Fan MeiLi had her eyes closed and she took calming breaths as she focused on her mind. No one knows that four years ago wasn't the downfall of Fan MeiLi but was a blessing. She doesn't understand but ever since her incident she was able to successfully solve hard problems, no matter big or small. Also, if she ever found herself in a pinch she just had to close her eyes and keep calm for an hour. Soon an image would form in her head that would solve her problems.

Feeling tired and thinking that she wouldn't be able to find a solution tonight she was about to give up when an image of a dress popped in her head. Opening her eyes she saw her new red dress hanging on her closet door and a smile formed on her face.

She knew this dress was special and now it will help her with finding Kang Sena and helping Adam Yu. Now that she knew when this dress would come in handy all she has to figure out is how to keep a low profile when attending the gala. At the very least could enjoy a great party and free food, and she could bring Zhang Jing as her plus one and have a fun time.
