15 Gala 2

After being at the gala for an hour Nancy Wu was getting tired from keeping a sweet smile on her face. She planned to get close to Li Wei but it seemed that he was late to his own event and forced her to be nice to those she looked down upon.

Her family wanted her to come so she could make connections for the family business but she had her own plan in mind. She found a waiter to prepare a special drink for Li Wei and would join the Wei family one way or another.

While she was deep in thought she didn't notice a girl with a pink dress come up to her with a smile. Feeling a tap on her shoulder she turned around, "It's nice to see you again Miss Wu." The lady in pink said with a smile.

Nancy put on her sweet smile and tried to figure out who the lady's identity, that is when a scent of roses hit her nose and made her remember. Jiang YingYue, the spoiled princess of the Jiang family who followed her around when they attend the same school. Nancy kept her around because she was easy to use and would use her wealth to win other's favor. While Nancy liked having a useful pawn she didn't have time to play nice with her when she had more important things to accomplish.

"You don't have to be so formal, after all, we have known each other since our school days," Nancy said with a smile.

Jiang YingYue could only giggle after hearing Nancy, "Really? I didn't know we were close since you stop contacting me after we graduated."

"I'm sorry about that but when I went abroad I lost touch with a lot of people but I hope I can reconnect now that I'm back."

"I guess I can forgive you since I'm in a great mood but you have to promise to catch up with me after today."

Nancy noticed a crowd forming near the entrance and saw Li Wei entered the ballroom, a bright smile formed on her face. Looking at Jiang YingYue, "I really want to talk, we can have lunch at a later date." Before hearing her respond Nancy walked toward Li Wei.

Not caring about the people trying to speak to the famous CEO, Nancy walked with a queen halo and stood right in front of Li Wei and gave him a smile.

"CEO Wei, it's nice to see you again."

Li Wei put on a cold smile and return Nancy's greeting, "Nice to see you as well, Miss Wu."

"This event is very wonderful, I am looking forward to seeing the product unveiling."

"You'll be in for a grand surprise, now if you will excuse me."

Seeing Li Wei getting ready to leave she stopped him, "Before leaving how about a drink tocelebrate tonight."

Li Wei dodged her hand and gave Nancy a cold stare, "Miss Wu, tonight is a big night for the Hansoo group and I have many things to do so if you will excuse me."

Nancy could only watch as Li Wei walked away from her with a hard knot in her heart. While her face remained calmed she was clenched her fist with anger. Li Wei could try his hardest but she would become the young miss of the Wei family.

Li Wei brushed past the guest and walked security room behind the stage of the ballroom. Looking at Mo Han, "Is everything prepared?" He asked.

"Yes sir, the police are on standby and all those involved are in the ballroom."

"Very good. Proceed with the production unveiling and leave the rest for dessert."

Mo Han agreed with his boss but he felt pity for those that will soon face his boss's wrath. At least they will be able to enjoy a party before their lives are ruined, Mo Han thought while leaving his boss. Li Wei watched the camera and saw his cousin enter with his date and a cold smile appeared on his face. He looked forward to showing those pests what happens when you mess with Li Wei.
