21 Wu Crisis 2

Nancy Wu felt that Madam Li was being really cold but she had to keep up her act in hopes to save her family. "Madam Li, please tell me what my family did to upset yours so much."

Li Na couldn't stand the act that Nancy was putting on, "You have a lot of nerve pretending! You shameless person!" Li Na yelled standing up in anger.

"What are you talking about?"

Madam Li looked at Nancy with a very disappointed glare, she couldn't believe the young lady that she hoped to enter her family was just a fake illusion. It was known to many people that while Madam Li was a kind mother and had a personality unlike her son's, she had two bottom lines. She couldn't stand those who lied to her and those who tried to harm her family. That's why she was seeing red while being in the presences of Nancy.

Li Na could see her mother holding her temper but she couldn't, "Miss Wu, my family knows what you tried to do to my big brother! Luckily, he had a guardian angel looking out for him or who knows what would have happened?"

Nancy was shocked and confused, how could the Li family know about her plan at the gala when she was so careful. Showing a sad face Nancy faced Madam Li once more, "I have no idea what Li Na is talking about Madam Li. I would never try to do anything to your family."

"Enough! I don't want you spewing your lies anymore!" Madam Li yelled she couldn't keep her mouth shut any longer. Standing up she looked down at the kneeling Nancy and only had ice in her glare.

"You tried to drug my Wei-er, then you have the guts to come here and lie to me! Let me tell you, Nancy Wu, the downfall of the Wu family is all because of you! I thought you where a nice young lady but you played me for a fool!" Madam Li yelled.

Nancy was so shocked by Madam Li's outburst she couldn't find the words to defend herself. Li Na joined her mother and added to the fire, "I'll have you know that we have proof of you plotting against our family so if you still want a semi-normal life, then you should stay away from the Li family forever!"

When Nancy her that her brain went into panic mode, she couldn't give up her dream of being the most powerful lady in China so easily. "I really didn't try to harm your family, I swear!" She yelled at Madam Li with panic in her voice.

Madam Li didn't say anything and only glared at the shameful act that Nancy was putting on, Li Na, on the other hand, threw her phone with the video her brother sent of the night. Looking at the phone, Nancy almost threw it when she saw the interaction between her in the waiter that night at the gala.

Seeing the scared look on Nancy, Li Na smiled and snatched her phone back, "Now that you know, leave and never come back!" She yelled.

Nancy wanted to plead and explain that the video was wrong but Madam Li was tired of wasting her time on this disappointment of a young lady. Looking at the maid who had already gone and got some guards she gave a signal. The guards came and pulled Nancy toward the door and threw her out the gate while she tried to get Madam Li to give her another chance.

Standing outside of the Li Family's Estate, Nancy glared at the door and made a vow to return and make both mother and daughter pay for today's humiliation. Going back to her family's home she tried to figure out who sent that video of her during that night. Looking back at her memories she felt that someone in a red dress was always near but didn't bother about it during the time. Nancy had a feeling that it was the same dress she wished to purchase but was stolen from a nobody, and it was worn by the same lady during the gala.

By the time Nancy made it home she had two goals, one was clear her name and get back in the good graces of the Li family. The other was to find the identity of the lady in the red dress, whoever she was needed to pay for getting in the way of her dreams.
