Nancy was about to yell at the one who held her wrist, but stopped when she saw Li Wei. "Miss Wu, you really are an amazing woman to have the guts to hit one of my people in my presence." Li Wei said with a smile that didn't reach his eyes.

Breaking free of his grip, Nancy tried to explain, "Li Wei, you misunderstood, I wasn't going to hit her!" Nancy cried out.

Li Wei let out a dark chuckle, "First off, Miss Wu, we are not close for you to call my name so personally. Also, I clearly saw with my own eyes but you still say I misunderstood."

"I was just angry and confused for a moment and made a rash movement but I wasn't going to act," Nancy said in a small voice.

"Your excuses I have no need for them, what I want to know is why you're here?" Li Wei asked walking closer to Nancy.

Taking a deep breath, Nancy gave Li Wei a serious look, "I wanted to talk and try to put past the misunderstandings that stand between us."

Li Wei looked down at this crazy woman before him and wanted to vomit. One of the things he hated was sicking people who had no pride. "Miss Wu, you can say whatever you want but I know all about your plots and misdeeds."

Nancy was getting angry by the second, she knew that everything started with whoever sent Li Wei that video, ruining her life. Even if she knew that Li Wei clearly wanted her to leave she made up her mind to get back in his good grace. Tears forming in her eyes, "Li Wei, that video is fake! Someone wants to harm me that is why they made it look like I'll do something so horrible."

Li Wei and Fan MeiLi were giving Nancy weird looks, they both wonder how many performances was she going to show today. "Fake tears for a fake woman, Miss Wu, I'll have you know that my source is very legitimate. Moreover, this isn't the first time you tried such an act."

Nancy stopped her crying when she heard Li Wei's words, feeling her heart tighten she slowly looked at Li Wei. Seeing that Nancy calmed down, Li Wei gave her a cold smile, "Yes, I know you tried to do the same thing to me back in high school but I found out and stopped your plan. Since our families were close I gave you mercy and made your grandfather send you abroad away from my sight, but it seems I was to nice."

Walking closer toward her, "I made it clear that I didn't want to see you again but since you don't care for my warning I'll make you see what a living hell really is like to live." He said with a glare as if he was the devil himself.

Feeling the force of his threat, real tears poured out of Nancy's eyes. Running toward the stairs she wanted to get far away before Li Wei made due on his threat. Once the door closed behind her she glared at the door, muttering, "Li Wei, if you think I'll give up you're wrong! I always get what I want no matter what I have to do."

Fan MeiLi, on the other hand, was rooted in spot lost in her own thoughts. At first, when Li Wei appeared she wanted to give the two some privacy but stopped when she heard his words. Hearing that CEO Li knew the source of the video made her worry, was it possible he figure out it was she who sent it to him the night of the gala. As soon as the thought popped in her head it left, she was a world-renowned hacker, how could CEO Li figure that out unless he was better than her. Coming out her thoughts she looked over to see Li Wei giving her a stare that was confusing.

"Miss Fan, it has been some time since you been working under me, I believe we should have a chat." Li Wei said walking back to his office.

Confused, Fan MeiLi just stared at CEO Li not making a move to follow him but feeling that weird feeling building inside her. As soon as it started, Fan MeiLi knew that whatever he wanted to talk about was nothing good but would change her life in some way.

Li Wei turned around to see Fan MeiLi with a face full of emotions playing around from confusion to anger, but mostly panic. Opening his door, "Miss Fan, come inside we have a lot of things to talk about and I wish to finish before the day ends.

Fan MeiLi frowned and looked at the elevator longly, the weird feeling grew only stronger and she made her way toward the office. When the door closed, hearing it closing sound scared Fan MeiLi more than the cold man inside the office.
