Li Wei must have some chatty friends because it didn't take long for the rumor of Li Wei having a girlfriend to spread around the city. Fan MeiLi wasn't shocked when she walked into the company that morning to hear most of the female staff gossiping. When it came to a powerful CEO such as Li Wei, it was bound to start a discussion. The only thing Fan MeiLi was worried about was having her identity be found out. Of course, she knew that Li Wei was going to introduce her publicly but she planned to draw it out as much as possible. She had no urge to be known, especially after dealing with the many women who adored Li Wei. If those people figured out who she was it would only bring chaos and violence in her life. All these thoughts were going on in Fan MeiLi's head as she rode the elevator to the top floor.

Li Na was shocked silly when she heard about the rumor going around about her brother. Walking into the living room, she saw her mother drinking tea and watching the news. "Mother, did you hear about Li Wei?" Li Na asked sitting down.

Hearing her daughter, Madam Li turned the TV off and focused on her, "What are you talking about?"

"Apparently there is a rumor going around that Li Wei has a secret girlfriend."

"What!?" Madam Li yelled with wide eyes.

"Yup, all the single ladies in our circle is heartbroken over the news. With the idea of Li Wei being unavailable has crushed their dreams." Li Na explained.

Madam Li couldn't believe what she was hearing and was having a hard time processing the news. The fact that her cold son was in a relationship, and a secret one at that was astounding."

Looking at Li Na she gave her a wary look, "Are you sure? I mean you understand your brother's personality, it's not something he would do."

Li Na nodded her head completely understanding her mother's point of view. Her brother was like an iceberg when it came to romance so hearing the rumor about him having a secret girlfriend was hard to believe.

"Mom, I already got information that he introduced her to his close friends." "Really?" "Yes, I asked Emily and she confirmed that Li Wei brought a woman when they had their last business dinner." Li Na said with a smile.

Madam Li knew what her daughter was saying must be true and her son was really in a relationship. Ever since her son took over the company, he partners up with his childhood friends and they were a close group. For him to bring a woman and introduce her, then he must be very serious about this relationship.

The more Madam Li thought, the happier she became and it made her curious about the girl who warmed her son's heart. It was known to everyone in the Li family, that Madam Li's goal was to have her son settled down and give her some grandchildren. That was the main reason she kept setting Li Wei up on countless blind dates. Now she understood why all the dates failed, it was because Li Wei already had someone in his heart.

Grabbing her phone, Madam Li dialed Li Wei at his office with a huge smile gracing her face.

[Hello?] Li Wei answered only after a few rings.

" Li Wei, my dear son. Why didn't you tell me you had a girlfriend?" She asked in fake anger.

[Who told you that?]

"Who? Everyone is talking about it! Now you tell me more about your hidden flower."

[Mother...]

"What! I think I have the right to know about the girl that my son is dating." Madam Li said.

After a momentary pause, Li Wei finally responded, [I haven't been dating that long and we are still getting to know each other. So, I'll let you know more about her as our relationship grows.]

Madam Li knew that her son wouldn't give her the information she wanted to know so she mumbled a goodbye and hung up. Li Na who was watching the whole scene smirked at what she heard and understood about her mother's conversation. "Mom, just because Li Wei doesn't want to talk or show his girlfriend; doesn't mean we can not figure out who the mysterious girlfriends identify." Li Na said going over to sit next to her mother.

"You're right! You said Emily saw her than we can have her over for lunch and gets some answers." Madam Li said with a bright smile.

Li Na was happy up until the point when her mother mentioned Emily Xu. To be completely honest with herself Li Na never cared for Emily. Mostly because she could feel that Emily Xu was hiding something behind her smile.

The only time she talked with Emily is when she just happens to appear while Li Na was out shopping. Since she knew Emily was a close friend of Li Wei she kept her feelings bottled down. "Mom, I don't think that is a good idea." Li Na said in a serious tone.

"Why?" Madam Li asked in confusion by her daughter's question. Emily and the other members of his group are the only ones who know Li Wei's girlfriend. So it would only be obvious to ask them about the mysterious lady.

"Emily Xu is a nice lady but I have a feeling she likes my brother. Don't you think it would put her in an awkward position." "Maybe?" Madam Li eventually agreeing with her daughter.
