Li Wei's Villa

Wednesday-Morning

Li Wei was looking at some of his documents for his morning meeting when his phone ringing interrupted his thoughts. Seeing that it was his mother he put down his files, "Hello, mother." Li Wei said with a smile.

[My dear son, why haven't you been calling me?] Madam Li said with sadness in her voice.

Standing and grabbing his jacket, "Mother, you and I both know that you want to ask another question." Li Wei stated putting on his jacket and picking up his files.

Madam Li let out a sigh, [You're right! As you know your dear grandfather is having his 70th birthday party and you must attend. Also, you should bring along your secret girlfriend.]

Getting into his car, Li Wei let out a sigh, "Mother, as I told you before I'll introduce you when the time is right."

[I know but I just can't kill my curiosity.]

Leaning back in his car, Li Wei took a moment and thought about what his mother said, "Mother, I have a proposal. I'll talk to my girlfriend and see if she is comfortable attending the party, but if she is not then you'll promise me to wait until we're ready to publicize our relationship."

Madam Li couldn't keep the glee from her voice, [Of course! I'll have my fingers crossed that your secret girlfriend agrees with your proposal.]

Hanging up the phone, Li Wei let out a sigh and started his car to go to his company. Even though he told his mother that he would talk to Fan MeiLi, he couldn't help the smile that his plan is coming along perfectly. Once his mother saw his girlfriend then she would believe the rumors and let him work in peace.

Arriving at the company he got a text from Mo Han after he read it the message darkness formed in his eyes. Driving away from the company he made a call to his office when he heard Fan MeiLi answer the phone he didn't wait a second.

[CEO Li's office, how may I...]

"Miss Fan, I don't have a lot of time so I'll be quick. I need you to reschedule all my morning meetings and get the PR department to kill an article that is set to release in two days about my company."

[Okay sir, will you be back for the afternoon.] Fan MeiLi asked while trying to figure out how she was going to reschedule her bosses important meeting.

"I trust you will get the job done." Li Wei said ending the call. Pulling up to an unmarked warehouse, he saw Mo Han waiting for him at the door. Mo Han bowed and led Li Wei inside, "Sir, we found him trying to hide and leave on a fishing boat. Also, are men got all the files recovered and proof of the money transfers.

Li Wei listened and sat in front of the bleeding guy who he actually trusted with his money. "Mr.Lu, you gave me a little chase, haven't you."

Spitting out blood, Mr. Lu looked up at Li Wei with pleading eyes, "CEO Li, I didn't want to betray you but I had no choice."

"Oh, really?" Li Wei said glaring down at him.

"Yes! Someone gained a lot of information about me and my weaknesses, they blackmailed me into cooperating with them so I would betray you."

"Who? Tell me who!?" Li Wei yelled grabbing Mr. Lu's hair.

"I don't know! All I know is that it was a woman and she really wanted to destroy you"

"So, you believe that stealing a few million dollars from me could lead to my destruction. If you wished to lessen your punishment I advise you to bring your partner to me."

Mr. Lu started to shake his head in despair, "I really don't know who the person is but I know a little about their plan. The one who trapped me wanted to steal from you slowly and make it public at your family's elder's birthday party next month.

Letting go of his hair, Li Wei stood and walked toward the door with Mo Han close behind. "Sir, what are your plans?"

"First, get all the information about that plan he was talking about and then get rid of him. Also, get the alpha team ready and prepped for a small mission for my grandfather's party." Li Wei ordered opening the door and walking toward his car.

Going back to the company, Li Wei sent a message to his secret contract and gave an order to find out about the secret woman who was foolish enough to go against him.
