223 This island is haunted

John Smith and two others reached the Green Island by the evening. Three people were waiting for them at the shore.

"Welcome Mr. Simon. Mr Lee assigned us to welcome you. I am the leader of the security of this shore." A man came forward and shook his hands with John Smith.

"Thank you Mister . It's really a nice place." John Smith said .

"Please follow us quickly. We should not waste our time here, otherwise we would not be able to reach there today safely. The spirits are sleeping now." The man said with a mysterious smile.

"What do you mean by the spirit? Is something bad resides here?"Tonny Heck asked in frightened voice.

"Yes,in this island some spirits come out at the night. They are always keeping their eyes on us. So be careful. Don't do anything which could make the spirits angry. Ok?"The leader said.

"No sir no.How can we do something bad here?We are all frightened about the spirits. Please go quickly."Tonny Heck replied.

The man nodded and showed them the car waiting for them. The place was calm. They could not see anyone except this three men.

"Why there is no one in this place? There should me some people here." David asked confusedly.

"Oh man. Now what can I say ?This island is haunted. So no one except our boss lives here. We have to be here for our duty. Otherwise we would never come here. We only come here when our boss is in this place.Please hurry up." The man explained.

John Smith and others only nodded and followed the man to the car. Nobody uttered a word during the ride. The car reached near a forest. As they reached in the middle of the forest, the driver brake the car suddenly. All of them scared to the death for the sudden brake .Everyone heard the tyres of the car screeched and the car flung forward till it almost crashed into a nearby tree.

The people inside the car was astonished to see it. They somehow managed to hold in the place and sighed in relief to see themselves alive.

"What happened? Why did you brake the car so suddenly? And why the car did not stop even you braked?"David asked worriedly.

"I....I have seen the spirit." The driver said in frightened voice.

"What?" Everyone asked in shock.

"Yes. I ... I don't know what happened to the car? I did not brake it. But it braked itself and again it went forward. I .... I am sure these is the same spirit, we heard about." The driver said in worried voice.

"What? The spirit of that girl? Oh my god.Now what will we do? It will not leave us today. Please try to start the car. We have to leave the place as soon as possible." A man who was sitting behind the leader said .

"Do you know that spirit?" Tonny Heck asked worriedly.

"Oh this island is really scary. We should not come here." David said worriedly.

The driver was trying to start the engine of the car, but he could not start it. Everyone looked at him worriedly.

"I am trying to start the car. But the engine is not starting. Now what will we do?" The driver said.

The leader got down from the car . 

"What happen to this damn car. It is already night. We must leave this place as soon as possible." A man sitting with Tonny Heck said worriedly.

"Everyone come and please help me. We have to push the car."The leader checked the engine said.

John Smith signaled Tonny Heck and David and got down from the car and he too followed the man and pushed the car .But the car was not started.

"We have to go there by walking. Everyone please follow me. I know a short way to there. We can reach there by midnight ,if we follow the route. Please hurry up." The leader said loudly.

They nodded and got ready to go to the destination on foot. The leader was showing the route and everyone followed him. Within a few minutes they reached in a deep forest. Nobody dared to utter a word. Everyone just hoped to get their destination safely. It was very dark night. Everyone flashed their torch of their mobile and walked hurriedly.

As they reached the deeper forest everyone startled to see a flash of light in a tree nearby. To their surprise ,they saw a lady in white dress was sitting on a branch of the tree. She looked at them and laughed loudly. Everyone get goosebumps to hear the scary laugh.

"Don't look at her. She is the main spirit of this place. Whoever sees her ,she would take him with her. Please follow me." The leader said in a low voice.

"Ok .Let's go." Said Tonny Heck.

It was almost midnight when they saw a light glowing .It was the farmhouse of Lucas. At last they reached the house, where they have to stay for their visit to the island. It was not far from Lucas's farmhouse. Everyone sighed in relief.

"Thank God. We somehow managed to reach here. You three please take rest for now. Here is your room. Please don't go out from the house without our man. You have already seen how scary this place is. Please don't try to roam around at night." The leader said.

"Oh. We wouldn't dare. We have seen how haunted this place is. If we knew that this place would be such dangerous we would never come here. Thank you for saving us."Tonny Heck said .

"OK .Now please take rest .Our boss will meet you tomorrow." The leader said and left the house.

He reached his room and called Lucas.

"Boss. The work you assigned is done succesfully. All of them frightened to the death. They would not dare to go out from the house." He said with a smile.

"Good. You deserve a reward." Lucas said with a laugh.

"Boss. Thank you very much."

The leader was very happy to get praise from his boss.

Inside the room, John Smith was smiling to see the door closed behind by the man. He sent a message to Tonny Heck and David.

'Well done. Your acting was good. You have to improve more tomorrow'

Both David and Tonny Heck smiled to read the message from John Smith.

'Yes boss.' David replied.

'Yes John Bro.'Tonny Heck replied.

Lucas planned everything to scare them off to the place .He always did this to the people who visited to the Green Island. He wanted to start a rumor that this place was haunted .He was successful in his plan too. His business partner Mr Lee also knew about this. He also supported Lucas's strategy to scare off the people who come to the island. It was their secret base .

Both Lucas and Mr Lee did not wanted to reveal their secret about the base to anyone. They were worried for any attacks from the enemy. So they always tried to keep their base as a secret place. Even only a few people in the underworld knew about the secret base. They always bring some actresses to act as the spirits and show the scariness of the place. They were always successful in their plan. Nobody even suspect them in this matter.

Although Mr Lee wanted to be a business partner of Mr Simon, but he could not trust him completely. So he instructed Lucas to follow the same plan to scare off this Simon. Lucas was happy to get positive report from the leader of the security. Lucas immediately called Mr. Lee.

"Mr. Lee. Congratulations. We are successful in our first plan. Now they would not dare to move around." Lucas said happily.

"That is good. I know how capable your men are. They had done good job."Mr Lee said with a smile.

"I was really worried for this Mr Simon. As I got the report he is very clever man. He would come to know about our secret base in no time, if we would allow him to roam around. So, it was necessary for us to stop him. Now I can sleep in peace .At last we have not to worry about that man. His two secretaries also frightened ."Lucas explained.

"Yes. Thank you Mr. Lucas for your quick action. Only you can do this type of things .Ha Ha."Mr. Lee said with a laugh.

"Thank you for your praise. Now please take rest. Tomorrow we have to do more. Good night." Lucas said and Hang up the call. They both satisfied with the result.
