224 Who lives here?

John Smiled smiled and have his food which kept on the room. He was very hungry and tired also. He never walked that much in his life. After having food he went to the bed to sleep.

"Wifey and my little one, don't worry. I am here for you. I will save you anyhow. Just wait for a little more."John Smith murmured and went to a deep slumber in no time.

After having their food everyone went to their bed. David also went to the room to sleep. He lied down on the bed for a long time, but he could not sleep. He looked at his watch. It is already 2.30 am. He left the hope of sleep and got up from his bed and dressed up. It was already winter, so he needed warm clothes to go out. He wore his overcoat and left the house. He roamed around the pavements of the place.

There were many trees on both sides of the road. There was a total of fourteen houses around that area. David could not see anyone along with the houses. Maybe everyone was sleeping peacefully. He walked through the road, which leads to the forest. There were no houses can be seen there.

As David forwarded towards the forest. He walked almost two kilometres. As he wanted to return, he suddenly noticed a source of light. It was a house!

'Why this house is built separately? Why this house is built in a secluded place like this? Who lives here?'

He went near the house, which was surrounded by high walls. David could felt that this house was different from the other houses, he has seen on the island. It was a two storied building. He could feel some unusual calmness in the house.

He looked at the house properly. Although all the people of that place were sleeping peacefully, David could see the shadow of a man in a room of that house. The light of the room was on. From the shadow, anyone could tell that the man must be in stress. The man was pacing in the room impatiently. It was almost morning. That means the man must be awake whole the night. David did not know why but wanted to know who the man is. He was really interested in the man.

David went near the house and search for any way to go in. He saw there was no one in the gate. But he did not want to go in through the main gate. Someone may notice him if he goes in by the main gate. He went backside of the house. But he could not find out any way to go in.

At last, he jumped through the wall. He looked up. The room must be at the side of the house. He looked around to find out a way to go up. He noticed a water pipe fixed on the wall. He climbed through the pipe and with the help of the windows he somehow managed to go near the window of the room, where the man was pacing.

David somehow managed to hide behind a curtain. He looked at the man. He shocked to see the man. It was Jackson. He got all his details about Jackson in his investigation.

'Why this man is so worried? Is this really the ruthless Jackson, I heard about? What happened to him that, he could not sleep for the whole night?'

Jackson was standing near the window, watching the outside. Maybe he was trying to get some fresh air. It was not much dark now. David knew that he could not stand there for a long time. Within one hour there will be sunrise. But what can he do now? He had to wait until the mangoes away from the window.

Jackson stood near the window for some more time and went near a wardrobe and pulled out a coat. David sighed in relief and silently got down from the window and he hurriedly left the place. When he reached the road, he was Jackson also came out of the house. Jackson did not notice David, as he was lost in deep thought. He forwarded towards the forest. Although David wanted to follow him, he stopped himself, as it would be too risky for him.

David could not afford to push Zinu to more danger, so he left the place and reached the house where they were staying. When he reached the house John Smith and Tonny Heck were already up. They both came out from their respective rooms in joggers dress.

"Are you going for jogging? I too want to join you." David said.

"Go quickly and change your dress. We are waiting outside."Tonny Heck said and went out. John Smith also followed him.

Within five minutes David came out of the house and join them. The road was not empty this time. There were some people who were jogging. David signalled them and followed the same road to Jackson's house. They both could be understood that David must have seen something there, they did not ask him anything. After some time they passed the house and reached near the forest. No one was jogging in that place.

"Boss, this house is Lucas's assistant's. I have seen him. Something going on. He could not sleep for the whole night." David said in a low voice while jogging.
