240 I am telling the truth

"I know you will not let me go, but think about me. I just can not live with you .I clearly remember that Lucas had sold me to a man. That man was a gangster. Jackson also tried to save me."Zinu said with her eyes lowered.

"What? What have you just told?" John Smith asked in surprised tone.

"I am telling the truth. Jackson told me about Lucas's plan. He sold me to an underworld gangster. Jackson wanted to save me from them and ran away from the island. But I denied his offer. I have seen how ruthless Lucas was. He would have kill that poor Jackson, if he tried to help me. So ,I decided to ran away myself. But Lucas's men found me and sprayed some chemical and after that I could not remember anything. Do you think Lucas would have let me go that easily? I ..... I think the gangster mentioned by Jackson must ...... " Zinu could not complete her sentence.

John Smith looked at Zinu.Tears rolled down through her cheeks. John Smith wiped her tears with thumb and held her hands. But Zinu could not stop crying.

"Zinu. Please don't cry. Please calm down. Why are you thinking all these? You should not stress yourself. It will have effect on your brain. The doctors said not to strain yourself. Please listen to me. Lucas could not do anything to you. Please Zinu. Please believe me. The gangster ,to which Lucas had sold you ,none other than me." John Smith said with low voice.

"What? What did you say? That ... that gangster is you? But how is it possible? I mean ...... are ..... are you a gangster? B ..... But Jackson said that the person to whom Lucas was sending me was Mr Simon. How did you become Mr Simon? Ah ,I am confused."Zinu said in confused tone.

"Calm down darling. You should not react like this. Please Zinu, I will tell you everything later. Now you should take rest. But don't think about leave me. You are not impure .For me you are always pure and clean. I don't care, if you are pure or not. I only love you. I can not live without you. Please Zinu, don't say about leaving me .I can not tolerate it. Once you return home, I will explain everything in details. Ok? Now you take rest. You have already strained your brain a lot." John Smith said with a smile.

Zinu looked at John Smith .She could see love and trust in his eyes. She nodded and closed her eyes. John Smith was correct. She must have strained her brain too much. She was too tired to keep her eyes open. Within a minute, she went back to a deep slumber. John Smith looked at her sadly. He sighed.

"Lucas. Your end is coming. You have gone overboard .I will find you where ever you are hiding. Just wait for me." John Smith said with a deep sigh.

"Dad! How is mom? We are here to see her."

John Smith looked at the door. Ronnie was there with Alicia and Sofia.

"Yes. My dear. She is totally fine. But now she is tired .Come, sit near your mother. Mom, mother please come." John Smith said.

"Yes mother. I just talked with her. She is totally fine now .Mother, Mom, Will you stay with her for some time? I have to go to the base now. I have something to do there. I will take Ronnie with me. He can come here again with grandma." John Smith asked.

"Sure we will love to. You can go and do your work." Sofia said.

"Yes John we are here with her. You need not to worry much." Alicia replied.

"Dad I want to stay here with mom. Grandma will come with Dolly aunt later. I will return home with them ."Ronnie said happily .He was very happy to get back his mother .

"Ok. You can stay here. Now I am leaving. I should not waste my time." John Smith said and left the hospital hurriedly.

He called Charlie and reached the base . He have to find out Lucas as soon as possible. He have to talk to Jackson to find out Lucas's hideout place. When he reached near the conference room ,Charlie was already there .He left the office immediately got the call of John Smith. 

Both of them entered the conference room, where Jackson ,Karl and David were waiting for them. They wished John Smith and Charlie .John Smith signaled everyone to have a seat.

"Jackson, how are you? I think you have not got any problems during your stay in here?"John Smith asked.

"No Mr John Smith.I am enjoying the stay here,but I was too much worried, as no one is ready to tell me anything about you . I was here to meet you, but It is already a week passed." Jackson replied.

"Yes you are here for that reason ,but I was busy in something else.I think now we can speak."John Smith replied.

"Yes Mr John Smith .I am ready to talk to you. Mr David had told me a few things. I want to thank you for saving my mother . I will be ever grateful to you for this help. I am looking forward to return this favor." Jackson said with grateful tone.

"You need not thank me. I should thank you for your presence here. You are here with us to help .I will compensate you with a good return for this help. I have bought a new house for your mother. Your mother will live in that house from now on .I have assigned four guards for her."John Smith informed.

"Thank you Mr John Smith. You have done a lot for me. Now please you give me a chance to help you back. You may ask me anything. I will reply for the queries which are in my knowledge. I know my boss Lucas had done many bad things to you and your family. I did not like to assist him for these. But I could not leave him .But this time I had self realization. So I decided to leave him." Jackson said in sad voice.

Although Jackson was in Smith Enterprise base for almost for a week, but no one including David discussed anything with him. John Smith could not trust the man who followed his enemy for so many years. So, he decided to investigate more about Jackson. He could not believe that a person who served his boss for so many years, as a loyal assistant, how can he leave that man so easily.This might be Lucas's trap.So John Smith decided to check everything properly.That was the reason behind ,John Smith delayed their meeting with Jackson.

The investigators found that what Jackson was telling was true. Jackson was saved by his friend Davson, who was in business of ships. It was Lucas who was behind the attack of his mother. Lucas was behind Jackson's misfortunes. When Zinu informed John Smith about Jackson's help, he became grateful for this. It was Jackson, who warned Zinu about Lucas's plan. So that she could be mentally prepared for Lucas's attacks. He tried to save Zinu.

John Smith decided to trust Jackson. So he called Charlie and inform them to arrange a meeting.

"Mr Jackson, please tell us about your boss." John Smith asked.

"What do you want to know about him?"

"Tell me everything you know about him."

"Ok. Lucas Smith is a highly ambitious man. He was behind your family for a map. That is the map your grandfather Mr Oliver Smith got from Lucas Smith's Father. Lucas Smith's father was the friend of Oliver Smith's father. They were also cousins. They were in same business. It was the business of diamond mining. Oliver Smith and few of his friend used to search diamond mines everywhere in the world. Once Mr Oliver Smith's father, means your great grand father found a mine of a rare diamond.

When he got the mine, the group they formed was already broken down. Oliver Smith's father searched and found the mine alone. All other members were not with him that time, as they already left the business .But when they came to know about the mine, they tried to got the map from him. One of the group member killed his wife also. To save his son Oliver, He was sent to an orphanage." Jackson explained.
