248 Are you fine?

"Mom. How is the room? I have done most of the works myself." Ronnie said happily.

"Thank you Ronnie. It is really nice. You have done a great job. Thank you very much."Zinu replied.

"I like it too. Mom now I am going to my room. I have to complete my homework."

"Ok. Dear."

"Zinu take some rest after shower. The maid had already prepared the warm water for you .I will send your dinner here in the room. No need to go down." Alicia said.

"No mother. I can go."Zinu protested.

"No need. At least you should take rest for today." Sofia told this time.

"Ok .Then. Thank you mother. Thank you mom. You have done a lot for me." 

"Oh It's nothing dear. Just you take care of your health now." Alicia replied and all of them left her room.

Zinu changed her clothes and took a warm shower. After the shower she felt fresh. Dinner was kept on the table. After the dinner she took her phone. She opened the contact list and stared at it.

'Should I call him now? I even don't know in which country he had gone? What if he has slept already? He must be going through a hard time. Should I disturb him?'Zinu thought for a long time. 

She could not decide what to do? Although she wanted to talk to John Smith, but she did not want to disturb him in his mission. As she lost in deep thought, her phone rang suddenly. She was that much surprised that almost dropped the phone. She was more surprised to see the caller id. It was from a foreign number.She had saved the number of John Smith.It was not that number.

'Oh my God! Who is it?Is it Lucas?' She thought.

She did not receive the call. The phone rang again. She received the call with trembling hands.

"Wifey, why are you not receiving my call? Are you fine?"Zinu heard John Smith's voice through the phone.

"Y........Yes I....I.....Thank God. It's you."Zinu somehow managed reply.

"Of course it is me. Who else it may be? What are you thinking? Are you fine? Are you scared of something? "Zinu could heard John Smith's worried voice.

"How can you say that I am fine, when you left me in the middle."Zinu pouted her lips.

"You are looking too cute with pouted lips wifey." John Smith said. Zinu smiled .

"By the way, Charlie just informed me that you have discharged from the hospital just now. Welcome back home." John Smith added.

"Why are you calling from this number? I got your number from Charlie. How are you? I missed you."Zinu said.

"In which country have you gone? At least you should tell me that .You should inform me before leaving . I was too worried."

"I am sorry wifey. I thought you all would be worried for me, if I inform you. You need to take more and more rest. Grandma's health is also not good. So I did not inform or contact any one. Listen carefully, you all should not go anywhere these days. Lucas can do anything, if he come to know about the mission. I will call grandma tomorrow. Be careful with Ronnie .I am in country C now. Please don't tell anyone about it." John Smith said with worried voice.

"Ok.I will not tell a soul. And don't worry for us. We will keep ourself inside. Try to be safe and call me at least once in a day. Otherwise I would be worried."

"Ok Wifey. I will try. Now go to sleep and don't worry too much. This time it will be the end for Lucas. Just wait for me there. Now I have to leave. I have to go somewhere. "John Smith said with a smile.

"Ok.Hubby. Good night then."Zinu replied sadly.

"It's afternoon here. Ok. Good night and don't be sad for me." John Smith said and hung up the call.

Zinu stared at the mobile for a long time and sighed.

"Be safe Hubby."

She murmured and lay down on the bed. She She felt a deep sense of loneliness. The whole room seems to be very big now.

"Hubby I miss you."Zinu murmured again and kept staring at the phone. She fell into a deep slumber soon after she lay down.

In country C John Smith called her from on the way to nearby city, where he was living. He got some clues about Mr Lee roaming in that city with the help of Jackson. They hurriedly forwarded towards the city to fetch him, but Charlie called him and informed him about Zinu.

John Smith knew that Zinu and others in the home, were too worried for him. But he did not wanted to contact them as they would be more worried if he do so. But now as Zinu got his number already, he knew that she would call him very soon. It will be risky if she calls him in his number, so he stopped the car and called her. He too missed her .It felt like years ,he had seen her. But to be with her ,he needs to destroy Lucas first.
