John Smith and Jackson were going to the city, which they got some information about Mr Lee. John Smith told him to wait in the car while he would have to make a call. Jackson waited in the car for almost twenty minutes, but John Smith did not return. So he got down and look for him. John Smith was sitting on a bench near the telephone booth. Jackson looked at the man, who did not response to him.
"Mr John Smith. What happened? Is something bothering you?" Jackson asked worriedly.
Jackson was with John Smith these days to find out different clues. He liked John Smith's personality. He worked for Lucas many years, but he never got the satisfaction with him, which he got by working with John Smith.
"Nothing. Let us go." John Smith replied and get in the car. Jackson nodded and followed him.
"Did you inform your family members about your whereabouts? I think they would be really worried about you if you would not contact them." Jackson said.
Jackson was also present with him when John Smith requested Charlie not inform his family about their whereabouts. Jackson himself did not inform his mother about his journey with them.
"Yes. Now my family members know about it. I just called." John Smith said.
"That is good for you. Otherwise, they would be worried about you. By the way, I just got a message from a friend of mine that the yearly meeting of the underworld will be held in three days. So we have not got much time now. We must find out him somehow. The informer just informed me that he had done with the meeting with a client. So, he would be leaving the hotel now. We must hurry up to go." Jackson informed.
"Ok. Tell the informer to keep a close eye on him. I think we will reach there within one hour."
"Ok sir," Jackson replied.
They reached in front of the hotel, where Mr Lee was entered. They got down hurriedly and reached near the reception desk. Jackson about to ask something to the receptionist, but he stopped to see two men running towards them. Both of them looked pale and frightened. From the uniform they were wearing anyone can tell that they were hotel staff.
"What happened? Why are you coming like this? Have you seen a ghost or what?"A man wearing a custom made suit standing near the reception desk asked them.
"B....B...Boss.That....that ...room no 297. We .....we... have seen ....."One of the men uttered somehow. They must have run here with top of their speed. So both of them were short in the breath.
"Why are you stammering? Calm down and tell me what happened there?" The boss told them in a stern voice.
"Boss...Boss. A...A dead body. We have seen a dead body in room number 297."
Jackson was observing everything. He was very angry to see the attitude of the man in the suit.
"Hey, mister. Should not you just go and check what happened to the person they are telling? Why are you leaving the hotel like this?"Jackson could not control himself.
"Who are you to tell me all these? This is my hotel. So I have right to do anything with the customers. If you have any problems with this hotel, then you can just leave."The hotel owner replied and left the hotel hurriedly.
Jackson stood their shocked. How a person can be that rude to his customer? He could not understand how this person is running his business. She sighed and looked at the receptionist. They were standing there like a statue. They must be too much shocked.
"Hello. You should inform the police. Are not you?" Jackson said.
They nodded and called the police and informed about the situation.
"Ok. I am here to ask you something. I need some information. You have a guest with the name of Mr Lee. I am here to meet with him. Will you please tell me the room number of that guest? I am here to meet with him." Jackson said.
"But sir. We can not tell you about it. The information about our guest is top secret. We can not share it with anyone. I am sorry." Replied the receptionist in professional tone.
"Then I must wait here and inform the police about your boss. Has not he just left the hotel, whereas he should have present here when the police would arrive . How about this?" Jackson said with a mischievous smile.
The receptionist looked at him with wide eyes. Ah, this man!
"Ok. I will tell you the room number. Please tell me the name of the person." The receptionist said
"His name is Mr Lee."
"Ok. Let me check."
The receptionist opened the guest list of the hotel. His eyes widen in shock to see the room number. It was 297. The same room on which the hotel staff had seen the dead body. Jackson was observing his expression. He understood something is wrong.
"What happened? Why are you shocked? Has he left the hotel already?" Jackson asked.
"No. But his room number is 297. The same room on which they found the dead body." He pointed towards the two men.
"Are you want to tell me that he is already dead? How is it possible?" Jackson was also shocked now.
