Chapter 6: The Words

Samantha Lykos' POV

"Sam, I thought you don't come to this type of festival," my brother, Sebastian, was coming at me when I turned to look into his voice's direction. He was wearing his usual black hoodie and pants. I saw that he was looking at Karisa who was still oblivious to his presence.

Then, I saw it.

He took a deep breath before Karisa was smiling at him. She held out her hand as Sebastian was staring at her.

"I think we never met before. I'm Karisa," she said before Sebastian nodded curtly at her.

"Sebastian,"

"Oh, you're Sam's brother. I heard a lot about you from her. I thought you don't come to this kind of event," she said as Sebastian scoffed at her. Then he turned to look at me.

"You told her about me?" He said as Sebastian was narrowing his eyes at me. I shrugged before Karisa interrupted.

"It's not like she was willing to talk. I made her talk," she said as she was smiling at my brother. My brooding brother was frowning at her but Karisa was not paying attention to him after that.

"I think I saw someone on the other side. I might have to go say hi to my neighbor. My father would kill me if I don't say to him," Karisa said as she was smiling before she was waving. Then, Sebastian was pissed at the mention of him.

"Him?" He asked before Karisa was smiling at him.

"Oh, it's no one. Just my intended. My father has been hinting on my childhood friend to take my hand in marriage but I was only 21 years old. So it was too early for me," Karisa said before she moved to talk to her neighbor. My brother scoffed before he left as well. I don't know what was going on but I know a sexual frustration and that was my brother's.

"May I talk with you for a second?" Someone of my sexual frustration was talking behind me. I was startled to know that Zack would attend this kind of event. I turned to look at him and he was even more handsome than the last time I saw her.

"I thought you never spend your time here, in this kind of show," I said as I was crossing my hands before Zack chuckled at me.

"Well, since I was rejected, I might as well get laid with someone willing to marry me," he said before my heart was shattered again at his honesty. I was trying to keep a cool head but my rejected mate was smirking at me as if he knows what I was thinking about right now.

"I hope you will find her then," I said through my gritted teeth. I don't know why but I felt like I was denying my feelings for him.

"So, do you have time? I could come back if you want to—"

"No need," I said as I was looking around as I was making sure that we were not being spied on. I was looking around for my brother but he was not around. I sighed.

"Well, let's go then," I said before I was walking toward the woods. I don't know if Zack was following but my wolf told me that he was following me, no doubt.

I was walking in the woods as I was looking for a spot that we would be talking about the matter that only Zack knows. He was the one that asked me to come here. As we have arrived at our destination, I turned to look at him as I was crossing my hands at him.

"So, what do you want to talk about?" I said and before I know it, I was being pushed onto my back as it hit the tree, and Zack was dipping his head to mine as he was claiming my mouth.

What the hell!

I was too shocked to push him or anything but then, my wolf started to purr at the contact, and with that, I was pulling him closer to make sure that our bodies were colliding. I wanted to feel all the hard ridges that he had.

I moaned before I was pushing my back to graze my erected nipples through my thin sundress. I wanted to get male attention tonight so that I would forget about the Omega that was promoted to Beta but I think it was too hopeful to do so.

Since I was the one that was responding to him now.

I gripped his hair as I was angling my mouth to deepen the kiss. Holy shit! I just did that on my own as I knew how much I felt these days. It was too tense and I think I wanted to get lost in his touch, his kisses, his scent.

Then, it hit me.

I pushed Zack of me as I was breathing hard before he was looking at me with his darkened blue eyes that were eyeing my face before he was focusing on my swollen lips. It was too much but I felt the tingles that his kisses have done to me. Zack was about to take another step before I stopped him.

"No," I said as I was putting my hands up to stop him. He ignored it as Zack was taking another step toward me.

"I meant what I said before, Zack. I have rejected you so maybe you should do the same," I said as I was looking into his eyes. He was hurting, I can see it in his blue eyes but his response was making me blinked a few times at him.

"For you, it was over, but I will never, EVER, reject you, Samantha. I am the only one that can be your mate and you will accept it," he said before he was coming onto me on the lightning speed before I was being pushed against on the tree trunk.

"What the—" my sentence was on my throat when Zack kissed me in a demanding, passionate kiss. I was double shocked before I was trying to push him off me before he stepped back and his eyes were hard on me.

"Just remember what you told me, you rejected me. Let's see how it goes, shall we?" Zack said before he ran through the woods. I was speechless before I was kneeling on the ground as I was staring at his retreating figure into the woods.

Zack Adamos' POV

I was running through the woods. I shifted after I was deep enough into the woods that I would not encounter any human. My wolf was snarling as I was trying to calm him down.

'You should have to claim her. She was denying herself. I can sense her wolf was begging to be taken,' he said.

'But not like that. Would it be much sweeter if she comes to us free of her will? It would be much sweeter to have her submit to us,'

'But for how long?' My wolf asked as I was shaking my head. I need to calm down before I can do any plan regarding my stubborn mate. But one thing for sure, I will not go back to the pack as I will be going into isolation. After all, I will never be accepted by anyone if my mate was rejecting me.

'It will come, soon. She will realize that she was wrong to reject us,' my wolf consulted me as I was running to the cave that I have built for my love nest for me and my mate. We will be here for how long it would take.

'I hope you're right. I hope you are,' I said as I was making my way to the pond that I have utilized to make tap water and all that. But right now, I wanted to go swimming.
