I park the beast a few blocks down and make my way over to the building that was holding the children. The closer I get the more I hear the laughter and the smell of alcohol... they were all having a blast and it was time to bring it to an end.
I grab the piping that led up to the top floor where I'll find Henry himself and make my way up silently. As I reach the window I'm relieved to see the thing unlocked. I push on the window after checking to make sure the room was empty.
The black outfit blends in perfectly with the dark night as I slip into the room. The air was stagnate and I was suddenly really happy for the mask I wore. I slowly make my way over to the desk holding the only electronic in the building... well except for the few cells that his goonies carried.
Chip was unhappy with the whole thing but there wasn't anything I can do... they intentionally didn't install cameras in the building so we were flying blind. I wasn't the first time and it won't be the last. As soon as I get close enough to the computer Chip connects and starts his magic.
I take a look at the papers on the table but most of it was useless... I really needed more information but as Alec said... they're catching on and because of that, they are hiding their information a lot more making my job harder. I knew it would only be a matter of time..
He was shocked and I took that to my advantage, I whip out my curved blade and slice his throat to keep him from yelling. The man grabs at his throat and falls forward as I catch him. I take a quick look around and Chip says "The door to the right is a storage closet." I grunt in thanks and begin dragging the large man over to the closet.
I open the door and I'm happy to see that it's mostly empty except for a few cleaning supplies. I pull the man in and push his legs in before shutting the door. "I hate flying blind.." Chip says and I agree. It always makes for more work. I go back to the stairs and slowly make my way down stopping at every door listening.
I grit my teeth when I hear pleading and Chip quickly reminds me "Stay on track... we need to take Henry out first.. then you can have your fun." I close my eyes and try to ignore it but I can't. Damnit... I silently open the door and Chip starts grumbling but I ignore him as I lock onto the large man who has a little girl cornered.
I can't see what he's doing because I'm behind him but judging by the look on the young girls face it isn't anything nice. I quickly walk up behind him and use my blade to cut his throat as well. He swings behind him and turns to me but it's too late. I see the hatred in his blue eyes but he dies while I watch without an once of pity.
I look up to the child and she flinches. I slowly bring my finger up and give her the universal "Shh" sign. She hesitates only a few moments before she nods in agreement. I walk out of the room but make sure to close the door so no one can see.
I only pass two more doors before I hear him.. Henry, and it sounds like he's on the phone. "I told you I need them gone by tonight. I'm walking around with a target on my back and I don't appreciate it. Come get the goods before I find other ways to get rid of them." I smile as I slip into his room. He's facing the window and because the room is poorly lit I blend in perfectly.
