Chapter 91：Not Doing That Again

I look on in awe as the entire build lights up with the writing. I look up as it continues to the ceiling. It was unlike anything I've ever seen... Once it finally stops I look around the newly lit building but to be honest it looked more like an old temple.

I looked around in confusion but still, I see no one. I walk over to the wall and look at the writing but I frown when I still can't read anything. "I don't understand..." I say out loud to no one in particular as I reach out to the golden writing.

I touch the cold wall but nothing happens. Sighing I drop my hand and step back. I look around again in confusion and make my way to the center of the temple. I look up at the highest point and squint against the suddenly blinding light.

I feel as if my eyes have just been blinded as I quickly close them and cover them with my hands. "Shit!" I curse as I stumble backward but I hit something solid. I quickly jump and turn to look but I can't see anything! I'm in the middle of the temple, there shouldn't be anything by me!

Suddenly my head feels as if it's splitting in half. I fall to my knees and grip my head. Holyshit what is happening!? I grit my teeth and fall over to my side as I try to crawl away. Where I was trying to wiggle away to? Your guess is as good as mine, I just wanted to get away from the blinding light.

I hit something again and in confusion, I reach out to feel what I've just hit but it feels like a wall. "What the hell..." Another wave of pain hits me and everything goes black.

I groan and turn over to my back as I try to figure out what just happened. I slowly sit up and open my eyes. I nearly cry with relief when I can see again. My head still kinda hurts but it wasn't bad. I go to look up but freeze... No way in hell was I going to look back up. Well, at least while I was still in the middle of the old temple.

I crawl away to a safe distance before I peak. I take a quick look and when nothing happens I look back up. What just happened?? I look around the temple and find the words still glowing but nothing else has changed and I was still alone.

I push myself up on shaky legs and go to the door. I unlock it and open it to find that it was now night time. How long was I out for? And it was freezing! I step out of the temple and look around in wonder. The sky was pitch black but there were two moons... two blood-red moons.

"Calm yourself, Charmer... I'm here to help you. Don't you know this world is not safe for your kind?" I look at the crawler in disbelief as I try to wrap around my head around it talking. Wait... this crawler looks familiar... "Do I know you?" I ask. "kekeke I'm so glad you remember me Charmer. It is indeed I who met you in your old nest."

I slightly straighten my back as I try to make sense of this... was this a good thing? My old nest? "How did you know where I was?" I ask standing straight. "I followed you of course." I lower the knife but only a little. "If you followed me then you must know how to get back," I say looking away from the creepy crawler.

It's yellow little eyes and large mouth was creeping me out. "Of course Charmer... what will you do for me in return?" I look back to the crawler and sneer. "How about I don't kill you?" I say lifting the blade.

The crawler begins to cackle and the sound makes my skin crawl. Dear God... why was it so creepy!? "Wrong answer Charmer... You are now in my world." It says as it lifts its head up at an odd angle and releases a high pitch scream.

I jump and cover my ears but when I hear several loud calls in answer my heart drops. "Damnit!" I turn and run back to the temple. The crawler hits me from behind and I stumble to the ground with it on my back.

I flip over and bring the blad across the crawlers chest. Black gooey blood oozes out of him and onto my chest. I yell and kick with everything I have but it's incredibly strong for having such scrawny long arms.

"Be good Charmer and I will make you a nice new nest." It says leaning forward and licking the side of my face. I want to puke at the smell coming from its mouth. "Get off me you freak!" I yell and kick it in between his legs. Sure enough, the crawler screeches in pain and releases me. I figured since it was male it would have the same junk...

I kick him with both legs as hard as I can pushing him further away from me. I turn and run for the door. "You will regret that!" It hisses as I run with everything I have. I fly through the door and nearly run straight past it with my speed. I quickly grab the door and push it closed.

"Charmer!!" It yells and hits the door. I push back against him as I struggle to keep the door closed. I yell in frustration as I push with everything I have but I feel myself being pushed back with the door. Please... Please! I push with everything I have and when I hear it click I quickly lock the door with shaky hands covered in black blood. Where was my knife? Shit...
