"Elena," Diego called again as if asking Elena to wake up. Again, Elena's finger responded to the call. Even Mira who was beside him also saw the movement.
"I'll call the doctor." With enthusiasm, Mira left.
"Elena." Diego once again called for the girl. With eyes focused on Elena's face.
Slowly Elena's lashes trembled, her eyelids slowly lifted. Elena blinked softly a few times before blinding her beautiful eyes wide. The light of joy was clear in Diego's eyes. Elena finally regained consciousness.
Then Mira came with a doctor and several nurses. Mira and Diego stepped aside for a moment so the doctor could check on Elena's current state.
A few moments later the doctor and nurse left after checking Elena's condition and said that everything was normal and Elena needed a few more days for the wound to heal before being allowed to go home.
Since earlier Elena has been silent and calm. Elena realized the changes that were happening to her. Her stomach is not big anymore. That means the baby has been born. Elena looked at Diego and Mira beside her. Realizing the look in Elena's eyes asking about her baby made Diego and Mira silent.
"My baby is born, isn't it. Where are they? I want to see them." Elena's eyes stared at Diego and Mira seriously. But neither of them answered her question. The silence of the two made Elena's heart tighten, anxiety and fear overwhelmed the woman. Her heartbeat fast.
"Darling, where is my baby?" Elena looked at Diego, demanding an answer. But the man was again silent and looked away. Unable to look at Elena's face at this moment, he couldn't bear to tell the girl the truth.
"Diego," Elena called softly, her hand slowly gripping Diego's arm. Elena's heart skipped a beat.
"Brian brought Dean."
"Then, Sean?"
Diego didn't answer and looked down sadly. Elena's hands tighten. From Diego's reaction, Elena began to guess the worst thing that would make the man make such an expression.
"Darling, where's Sean? Did he save? He can't possibly leave me." Elena's words made Diego lookup.
"Sean must be alive. My son is a strong man. He can't just leave." Elena started screaming to get rid of her fear. But that only made Elena's face look even sadder.
"Elena," Diego called softly.
"Darling, Sean is still alive. He can't possibly leave me." Elena kept saying that, trying to convince and deceive herself from the harsh reality. Elena's situation is getting sad. The woman continued to deny everything. Diego immediately grabbed her hand tightly.
"Elena, Sean is dead. So try to accept the truth." Diego's words were like lightning striking Elena. The woman's body froze, the heart stopped for a second and her eyes lost focus. It was as if a part of her soul had disappeared.
"No darling! No! Sean can't die!" Elena started to scream in panic. Elena's tears fell, like a broken faucet couldn't stop her tears. Elena denied in frustration.
"You must be lying! Sean isn't dead!" Again Elena screamed, her face full of tears. Mira felt the pain too. Mira cried seeing Elena's current state. Diego's heart was hurt too. He gently touched both of Elena's shoulders making the girl's eyes that lost their focus stare straight into Diego's eyes.
"Elena, don't upset Sean in heaven with you like this." Elena paused, staring into Diego's eyes. The tears continued to flow non-stop and Diego patiently gave the fragile woman understanding.
Elena was not screaming and denying the situation, Diego slowly lowered his head and carefully hugged Elena.
"Cry, cry as much as you can." Diego's words made Elena cry even louder. Her body trembled to accept all the sad emotions she felt. The baby Elena was carrying for eight months. The baby she talked to almost every morning, afternoon and evening had left her. Elena's heart was completely broken and wounded, she had struggled and survived to protect her womb from Tiara's rage. But God had another will, to take her son away from her.
"Cry, then forget all your sadness and accept all this reality. Even though it's hard, I'm sure you can get through it. Because you're not alone." Elena cried even louder, her hands squeezing Diego's shirt tightly. Trying to vent the feeling that crushed her heart.
"I will always be by your side, now and forever," Diego whispered softly and then kissed Elena on the forehead fondly. His hands-on Elena's back never stopped rubbing. Hope he can ease Elena's pain. Mira, who had been standing at the side, saw and heard everything, she turned and walked away. Mira knows Elena and Diego need time alone. She left the room wiping her tears. Mira prays Elena will be strong and strong in facing all this harsh reality.
. ..
Elise has heard the news about Elena who has awakened from Diana. Elise stared at the ceiling in silence. She thought about the whereabouts of Elena who was in the same hospital as her right now. She was afraid if Rena met or saw Elena. She couldn't imagine what would happen if it came true. Elise knows Brian can cover up Elena's whereabouts due to the Tiara kidnapping incident, from Rena. But she was still worried and worried. She was afraid that the happiness she had felt for the past few days would fall apart.
Elise didn't want the happiness she had worked for over five years to be in vain because of just one carelessness. The greater the happiness you feel, the more afraid you will lose it.
Elise remembered the sad look on Brian's face every time he talked about Elena who wasn't conscious either. She thought Brian's concern was too strange and exaggerated. She is afraid that Brian has feelings for Elena. So, before it was too late, she had to talk to Elena. And asked the twin to go away and never appear again in front of her and Brian.
Elise knew, it was cruel to Elena. Remembering everything Elena had been through. But she can't take dangerous risks and Elise wants to be selfish once again for her happiness. Even if she had to treat her twin cruelly to never meet Dean, her son. Elise has to do it. After all, isn't there Diego who will always be with Elena.
Diego. Elise remembered what happened decades ago when she and Elena were still in the orphanage. Just then Diego and his parents came to adopt a girl from the orphanage. Elise hopes she will be chosen by Diego. Because she wants a host family and parental love. But it turns out that Diego prefers Elena. Leaving her alone at the orphanage. At that time Elise was very upset and angry. She was annoyed at Diego's parents who only wanted to adopt one person. Sh was angry with Diego for choosing Elena over her. And Elise hates Elena because she has left her alone in the orphanage. Breaking Elena's promise that she will take care of and look after Elise, her beloved twin sister.
But it turns out that Elena left her. Going to reach her happiness with her new family. Left herself alone in the home. Working hard to support her life after leaving the orphanage. Fighting in the rigors of life. And endured various sufferings that Elise wanted to forget for the rest of her life. So, for the sake of her happiness, she had to warn Elena, even if necessary she had to threaten her or beg her.
Elise's eyes filled with determination. She turned to the long sofa by the wall. Brian was lying there and fast asleep on the sofa. Slowly Elise sat up. She's completely recovered. She was still in the hospital waiting for a few more days for Dean to be allowed by the doctors to come home.
Elise put her feet down, put on her sandals and walked over to the sofa. Her eyes were focused on Brian's calm face. The man she loved so much. Elise slowly lowered her head and stroked the side of Brian's face.
"You are forever only mine." Elise pulled the blanket over Brian's body properly and kissed the man on the forehead. Then he got up and started walking outside. She had to meet Elena right now. When Rena is not in the hospital and Brian is fast asleep.
Elise was standing at the door to Elena's room being treated. She slowly opened the door and entered. Luckily Elena is still not sleeping at this time. And there's nobody in this room. Elise looked at Elena's face which still looked pale. The woman looked blankly at the window. Looking deep into the darkness of the night. Elise kept on walking until she stood beside Elena's bed.
"Elena," Elise called softly to get Elena's attention to her.
Elena turned her head and smiled a little. A smile that is very hard to see. It was as if she only slightly lifted the corner of her lips without anything shining in her eyes.
"How are you?" Elena asked quietly. She started to get up half-lying on the bed so she could talk more easily with Elise.
