"Close your eyes, it makes it easier," Vixen muttered, sitting down on the side of her bed.

Regan quietly nodded. The silence further setting off alarms in her head.

"Ok, I'm going to start now," Vixen sighed, placing down the sweater on her bed.

Regan leaned into her seat and mentally prepared herself while Vixen did something at the foot of her bed.

"I'm going to lift your arms," Vixen announced, giving Regan time to respond with a nod before he continued.

His hand traveled to her arm and lifts her right hand up first, pulling out her sleeves to there then stopping to lift her left arm and pulling out her other sleeve. His hand tried their best not to touch Regan at all and in fact, only touched areas where she had clothing on them.

Regan laid in silence as Vixen pulled her shirt over her head. There were no reactions, simply a shuffling as he took off the sweater from the hanger. He bands both of Regan's hands together at the wrist, keeping them suspended over her head with one hand. Regan flinched at the largeness of his hand. They would wrap around both of her wrists easily.

She wanted to see the stranger's hand.

"Ok, I have the sweater, I'm going to get a bit more on the bed because it's kind of hard to put a sweater on you from this angle," Vixen informed Regan. His voice was deep and monotone showing no sign of emotion. For some reason, that comforted Regan.

Vixen inched into the bed, going slowly as to not startle Regan. "Ok, going to start putting the sweater on you now."

Vixen let her wrist go and her arms fell down limply. He picked up her right arm and put it into one of the sleeves of her sweater. Regan trembled.

His hands were warm, like touches of the sun on her cold skin. He left behind a heat trail every time he touched her.

"Are you ok?" Vixen asked when he felt another tremble from Regan.

"Y-yea…" Regan muttered, almost jumping when his hands slid up her arm to put it up.

"Ok then, second sleeves are going in," Vixen chuckled, lifting her arm and pulling it into her sleeves.

Another blanket of warmth slid up Regan's arm. It was nothing compared to Vixen's hands though.

"Almost done," Vixen smiled, turning to Regan to see her nod. "The last thing we have to do is get this over your head."

He looked at Regan with concern for a moment then continued with the shirt. He lets g of her hand and it falls down quickly to her thigh. Then slowly, his hands reach for her neck.

Regan sat in silence for a moment. Except for the impression on her bed, she couldn' feel that he was there. She waited patiently for him.

Vixen's hand touches her neck and he feels Regan tremble again. Regan shivered again, the warmth on his hand traveled through her body.

Regan paused for a moment, unable to explain it in a way that would make sense. "Your hands are just really warm," she mumbled.

"Huh?" Vixen leaned to her face. Regan froze, she could feel the heat radiating from him on her. He was really close.

"You're warm," Regan repeated, her voice lowering even more.

"Huh?" Vixen leaned in even more.

Reagan flinched when his hair brushed against her forehead, she clenched her hand. "You're warm."

"Ah…" Vixen muttered, leaning away from Regan. He sat there confused for a bit. "Is there something wrong with that?"

"No…" Regan muttered, "it's just that I'm really cold right now and since your hands are insanely warm, every time they brush against my skin I flinch because it's like a jolt of warmth traveling through me."

"Hmm…" Vixen mumbled, his stoic expression changing to a smile, "I never got that compliment before… well if it is a compliment. It feels like a good comment right?"

Regan nodded her head. "It's both."

"Ah…" Vixen chuckled, "That's good then."

They sat in silence for a moment before Vixen cleared his throat.

"I'm going to continue now," he informed Regan.

Regan simply nodded in response.

Slowly Vixen pulled the sweater over Regan's head, holding her head carefully as he put it on. Then he pulled it down when he was done and patted down the outfit.

"Done," Vixen smiled.

"Thank you," Regan smiled.

Vixen paused before continuing, "Yea, you're welcome." He stood up from the bed and made his way to the dirty clothes bin next to her wardrobe.

"Are you going to change my pants too?" Regan teased.

"Wow, you have enough energy to be doing this I see," Vixen smirked, "you can do it yourself later so don't worry that energy will go into good use."

Regan chuckled in response.

Vixen quickly walked back to Regan pushing her backward so she could fall onto her bed.

"Are you going to leave now?" Regan asked, her cheery tone reducing.

"And if I do?" Vixen shrugged, stretching. The stench of vomit hung in the room. He hated it.

Regan laid quietly, listening to the sound of his footsteps as he headed to her bathroom and opened one of the cabinets. Then she heard some tearing of some sort and a sigh of relief from the stranger.

'Thank god there's some air freshener in here…" Vixen thought to himself as he opened the air freshener and walked out of her closet. He looked around for a good spot to hide it. 'She may be calm now but when she sleeps and wakes up, old Regan will be back. I can't leave this thing in her presence.'

He looked around the room before locking eyes on Regan's closet, quietly he walked over to her closet and placed the air freshener on top of it, sliding it further in before smiling with content. Unless Regan was lifted, she wouldn't be able to reach the air freshener.

He walked back to the toilet and washed off his hand, then turned back to Regan and headed for her bed. "How do you feel now?"

"If I say horrible will you stay?" Regan asked.

Vixen froze before a smile broke onto his face and he suppressed a giggle. "I'll leave if I want to leave either way."

Regan pouted. That wasn't the answer she wanted.

They sat in silence for a bit and Vixen sat down on her bed, his hand reaching to touch her head. "Your temperature just seems weird…"

"Is it?" Regan shrugged.

"Yea…" Vixen sighed, concern further engulfing him. 'What in the world… it isn't a fever though.. At least it doesn't feel like one.' He sighed.

"I'm a bit hot now…" Regan muttered.

"Yea…" Vixen slid off the bed and sat on the ground. "Seems I'm going to watch over you for now. At least until you sleep."

"You're going to leave when I sleep?" Regan asked.

"Yup, I have other things to do," Vixen shrugged.

"I'm not going to sleep,"

"What?"

"I said I'm not going to sleep," Regan pouted.

Vixen stared at her blankly before a smile formed on his face. He tried to hold it back for a second but it came rushing out. His laughter.

"Hahaha, this is a first," Vixen laughed.

"What is?" Regan cocked her head.

"Hahaha, seeing this behavior from you," Vixen continued to laugh, his head falling on Regan's bed.

Regan smiled. It sounded comforting, his voice sounded comforting when he laughed.

"I like you laugh," Regan spoke up, the smile on her face remaining.

"Hahaha... Huh?" Vixen chuckled, his laugh slowly coming to an end.

"I said I liked your laugh. It's cute," Regan chuckled, bursting into laughter herself.

"Cute…?" Vixen cocked his head to the side. That was another compliment he hadn't heard before. It had been a while since he last got that compliment.

"Yup," Regan nodded her head. She laughed for a minute before her laughter reduced to nothing. She was hot.

Vixen turned to Regan. She was sweating… a lot more than she needed to.

He immediately took the blanket off her body and wrapped it, putting it at the edge of her bed. He looked down at her, waiting for results. She sneezed.

"I'm cold," Regan muttered, letting out a shaky breath.

Vixen put the blanket over her and minutes later she started to sweat again.

"Why can't you just have a stable temperature?" Vixen sighed anxiously. He couldn't put the blanket on her and neither could her take it off.

He looked down at her pitifully. "Do you know what you think might help you feel better?" he asked.

Regan kept quiet for a moment before nodding. "I do."

Vixen turned to her in surprise. "Really? What is it?"

"If I told you, I get the feeling you won't do it for me…" Regan muttered quietly.

Vixen smiled, "At least ask first."

"Ok then, your hand," Regan spoke up.

"My what?" Vixen cocked his head in confusion.

"Your hand," Regan repeated, "I want to hold your hand."

Vixen froze.

"Let me hold your hand."
