Lina stood admiring the busy streets filled with office workers rushing back home after a tough day at work.
Soon she saw that her car had arrived and she happily skipped towards the backseat of her car.
When she opened the car door, she noticed that there was already someone inside.
'Is this not my car?' She immediately shut the door and took a few steps away from the car.
She looked at the sleek and ordinary-looking black car and frowned.
'This looks like my car, but why is there someone else inside?'
As she was thinking of this, the backseat window was slightly pulled down.
"Psst…" The person inside made a sound to try and get her attention.
Lina looked around to see who that person might be calling but there was no one around near her except the security.
"Psstt… Nana…!" This time she was sure that whoever was inside was calling her.
The window rolled a little lower and the person inside removed the sunglasses and looked at her.
When Lina saw those bluish-green eyes, she instantly knew who that weirdo inside was!
"Miss Yang, is there a problem?" She heard a voice when she was about to walk towards the car.
She turned around and saw that the security guard was standing a few steps away and was suspiciously staring at the car.
The security guard was always there when Lina got to work and when she left, so he knew that this was Lina's car.
But when he saw her back away from it and just stared ahead, he felt that something was not right. Therefore he had come to check if everything was alright.
After all the crime in the city was increasing every day and he did not want anything bad to happen to her.
Seeing his apprehensive glance at her car, Lina was sure that he had misunderstood the situation.
'Even I felt the same way a few seconds back!' She shook her head.
"It's alright, Mr." She reassured him.
"Thank you for worrying about me! It's just my friend inside." She gratefully smiled at him and walked to her car.
The guard stood in the same place and watched until she sat inside.
'The person inside seems suspicious, I better try to get a good look at him!' The guard peered into the car when she was about to close the door and saw the silhouette of a masked man sitting inside.
'Be safe, my fairy!' He wished and slowly walked back to his post when he saw the car drive away.
Inside the car, Lina was rolling her eyes looking at who was sitting beside her.
"Do you have to be so sneaky?" Lina punched the man sitting next to her on his shoulder.
"Nana! I come to pick you up after work and this is how I am rewarded?" The man held his hands over his chest and acted in an exaggerated manner.
The other person in the car rolled his eyes seeing this.
"I told you to take off that hideous mask already!" Wade punched his brother's other shoulder.
"Owwwiieee..!" Wayne cried out and held his other shoulder like he was severely wounded.
When he saw that both Lina and Wade had decided to ignore him, Wayne quickly removed his mask and sweetly smiled at her but she just wouldn't look at him.
Seeing her act this way, he deeply sighed and shook his head.
'It's time to use my *Nana Cajoling Plan!*' He grinned at her and then put on a serious face.
"Looks like Nana is angry." He spoke to no one in particular and winked at Derek who was looking at them through the rearview mirror.
"Then I'll have no other option than giving those gifts to my girlfriend." He shook his head in disappointment.
When Lina heard the word 'gifts' she instantly turned towards him and beamed.
"I get to see my presents?" She questioned him and saw him hesitate.
"But you are angry with me, right?" He asked innocently and she widened her eyes.
"Who said that! Brother Wayne is the best brother, how can I be mad at you?" She held his arms and hugged it.
'He thinks I don't know his mediocre plans? Heh! Just you wait till I get those gifts in my hands!' She leaned on his shoulders to hide her evil grin.
When she looked up she saw Derek looking at her. She winked at him after putting a finger on her lips to indicate him to not say anything.
'Master Wayne thinks he fooled Young Miss. I wonder what she'll do to him.' He had an amused smile and nodded when he saw her actions.

Today her car drove to Luo Residence rather than to Yang Manor.
The Luo family house was a typical old architectural house. It gave one the feeling of being transported in another dimension because of how it looked.
The estate was just as huge as the Yang Manor and was designed in the olden day courtyard style.
The house may look ancient but once you stepped inside, everything was luxurious and modern.
Before Mandy and Lucille had shifted to her house, Uncle Ace and the twins used to live with her Uncle Pat at Yang Manor but now they stay here.
Lina looked around and saw the interior to be the same as she had remembered when she was younger.
She saw a man walking out from the kitchen as he wiped his hands.
The familiar lean body, neatly trimmed hair and that uniform brought up old memories for her.
"Butler Mo?" She doubtfully called out to the man before her.
"Young Miss Lina!" The middle-aged man beamed when he saw her. He walked towards her and gently patted her on the head.
The forty-year-old man looked just as handsome as the day she had last seen him.
She was just a few inches shorter than him now and she blushed when she saw him after so many years and that his handsome face was still the same.
"Ehmmm…" Seeing her reddening cheeks, Wade interrupted her fantasies and brought her back to reality.
"Nana will be staying over tonight. Get her room ready." Wade instructed and Butler Mo instantly got to work.
"Still have a crush on him?" Wade whispered in her ear and she glared at him.
"Ohhh… What is this about a crush?" Wayne the gossipmonger's ears perked up when he heard this.
"Who's the unlucky guy who wants to get his teeth broken?" His playfulness changed to a sinister smile in a flash.
Lina was already used to his mood swings so she just ignored him and took a seat on the couch.
Seeing that Lina wasn't going to answer him, he looked towards Wade with a pout.
"I'll tell you who it is if you stop creeping me out!" Wade cringed and sat beside Lina.
'Women fight to see my face and he called it creepy! We have the same face, doofus!!' Wayne harrumphed and sat opposite them.
"So? Who is it?" He asked with his hands on his chin like he was a little boy listening to some bedtime story.
Wade chuckled looking at Lina's fierce glare which looked like a cute little cub trying to roar for the first time.
"Butler Mo." Wade said and saw Wayne's eyes widened.
After a few seconds, he started laughing uncontrollably while holding onto his tummy and Wade too joined him.
"What's with you and older guys!?" He laughed at her some more.
Lina through the pillow on his face and he expertly caught it.
"But jokes aside, why him?" Wade asked curiously.
Lina blushed thinking of the day she first developed that innocent crush on Butler Mo.
It was a hot summer day and the cousins had decided to spend the day at the Luo Residence's enormous pool to cool down.
She must have been around eleven or twelve at that time and that was the same summer she had put on a lot of weight, so she was shy to come outside.
But agreed to come along because no one would see her other than family.
After having fun at the pool, Lina decided to go to the back garden that had the swing sets that Wade and Wayne's dad had built for them when they were younger.
She does not exactly recall how it happened but she fell down and hurt her palms and skinned her knees.
Lina always had delicate skin and these tiny bruises that were common for every child to experience had started bleeding uncontrollably.
It hurt her so much to even get up so she just sat in the same place and wept miserably.
In her crying frenzy, she did not even realize when someone had come and kneeled down before her.
Though tears had blurred her sight, she could still see the gentle smile on that face as the man carefully picked her up.
He carried her as if she weighed nothing and brought her back to the house and administered first aid to her hands and knees.
When Lina remembered how heroic he seemed to the then little girl she smiled wholeheartedly.
After that day, she would often come over to their house and follow him around. So much so that Butler Ping had almost cried when he felt the bias in their treatments.
"I did not know that you had such a meaningful story behind your first crush!" Wade squeezed her in his arms and ruffled her hair.
'Why is Nana so precious!?' He felt proud that she did not just like Butler Mo because of his looks like what he had previously thought.
"I'm not that shallow!" Lina flicked Wade's forehead when she saw the look on his face.
"Do you even know what I was thinking about?" Wade rubbed his forehead and scowled at her.
"Thank God, she doesn't blindly like people based on their looks!" She imitated his voice and smirked.
"Right?" She sneered at him.
'She's as perceptive as ever!' Wade flinched at her words and quickly diverted her attention.
"But I still do not understand how you got hurt?" He asked and Lina tried hard to think of what had happened that day.
"Nope. Can't remember! Must have fallen off the swings or something." She shrugged because all that she needed to remember was how her hero had saved her.
Wayne breathed a sigh of relief when he heard that Lina did not remember why she was hurt.
He had been frozen in his seat from the moment Lina had started her story.
First from the excitement to know why she liked Butler Mo, then from dread when she continued her narration.
'It will be better for everyone if you never remember what had happened on that day.' He wished as he watched his brother and baby sister continue chatting about other things.
