In a few minutes, Uncle Pat had returned wearing a baby blue sweatshirt and black tracks and then he sat with the kids to talk about how their day went.
Lina happily announced about the auction while Wayne and Uncle Pat paid attention to what she said.
"I did hear some rumors in the social circles about the famous LY releasing new jewelry, so this was it huh?" Pat looked at Wade and smiled.
"He released that news even before I landed in the country!" Lina pouted when she thought of the rumors.
"Forget about that! I want to eat, I'm hungry!" Wade cried out which made the others laugh.
"Patience, little brother. We still have one more person who needs to arrive." Wayne whacked him on his head and reminded him.
Lina heard that and was excited to meet the person that Wayne was referring to.
While they waited for the other person to arrive, Lina asked Wayne to get the gifts that her brother and father had sent for her through him.
He reluctantly agreed and asked the servants to get the gifts that were in his room.
Soon the entire table before her was filled with gifts of all sizes.
"Awesome!" Lina yelled and quickly tore open the wrapper to see what was inside.
She looked like a child on Christmas morning as she ripped through the gift wraps.
There were designer clothes, bags, sneakers, cosmetics and even diamond jewelry.
Also neatly placed on the table was a large assortment of candy and snacks that Lina loved excessively.
When she was done with all the presents, she was satisfied to see that everything there was to her liking.
'Daddy and big bro Wind always send the best gifts! They know all my likes and dislikes.' She smiled when she thought of them.
All of them were amazing, but there were two presents that stood out from the others.
The first was the vintage Sergei bag that Lina longed for but couldn't buy because it was already owned by someone who refused to sell it no matter how much money the other person offered.
She almost shed tears when she saw the beautiful black leather bag that now belonged to her.
It looked just as stunning as the pictures of them that she had seen when it was first made, about 25 years ago.
The second was just a big brown envelope. But when she opened it, she found a set of legal papers inside.
Her mouth fell open when she saw what was written on them.
"What is it?" Wayne was curious about what was inside so he peeped from behind to take a look at it.
"Holy Fuck!" He exclaimed with his eyes wide open.
Lina was still in her shock when she heard Wayne's voice, so close to her ears.
She scooted away from him and rubbed her eyes to make sure that she wasn't hallucinating.
Patrick took the papers from her and read them out loud.
"The below-mentioned piece of land now belongs to Lina Yang, D/o Simon Yang." He then looked down to see what it was.
"Good Lord!" He exclaimed and Wade pulled the papers to read them.
Just like Lina followed by Wayne and then Patrick, even Wade froze after he saw the land that was mentioned below.
Lina then noticed the other piece of paper that was inside the envelope.
***
Baby, did daddy's present surprise you?
You always have to struggle to find the best stones for your designs so Daddy decided that this would make your work easier.
Ps:
I worked really hard to get them for you because my Nana deserves the best!
Love,
The man you love the most.
***
She rolled her eyes when she read this and then chuckled loudly.
'Daddy is so OP!'
Hearing her laugh, the other three statues finally came back to their senses.
"Whose is it?" Wade asked anxiously.
"Daddy." Lina answered and pulled the property papers back from him and hugged it close to her chest.
"Your father is on a whole different level!" Patrick caressed his racing heart to calm it.
Everyone nodded their heads furiously at this.
"Who the hell gifts someone a DIAMOND MINE!!?" Wayne was the one who was the most shocked.
He had leaked out Wind's gift to Simon when he was bribed by the latter.
So Wayne just assumed that his Uncle Simon would give her a more expensive and rare bag or jewelry but looking at those papers almost gave him a heart attack.
"What did brother-in-law do now?" Wayne's thoughts were interrupted by a new voice.
Walking towards them was a handsome man who looked like a model from the commercials in his dark beige suit.
He had dirty blonde hair just like Lina's mother and the twins.
He smiled widely when their attention was on him and the dimples on his face appeared when he smiled.
"Uncle Ace!" Lina jumped from her seat to go greet the new man but someone already beat her to it.
"Wally!"
Lina was almost pushed aside, so she blankly looked on after she steadied herself.
Uncle Pat rushed to Uncle Ace and quickly helped him take off his jacket before Butler Mo could do it.
He smiled and waited for his greeting but Uncle Ace just ignored him and walked towards Lina.
"My kiddo has grown up since the last time I've seen you!" He patted her on her head and she giggled.
"Liar! The last time we spoke was before I returned, how can I grow in just a few weeks?" Lina commented and then hugged him tightly.
Uncle Ace or Wallace Luo was her mother's younger twin and he was the sanest member of the family.
He always was calm and rarely let his emotions show on his face, except for when it was matters related to a certain someone.
"Wally..!"
They broke their hug when they heard Patrick's whimpers.
The tall man stood in the same place as before with his head lowered and he looked at Wallace with his big sad eyes.
'My puppy dog eyes can't compare with those!' Lina remarked inwardly as she watched Uncle Ace turn towards him.
"Stop whining!" Ace commanded and stepped towards Pat.
He swiftly caught hold of Pat's neck and pulled him down to his eye level. Then he expertly captured Pat's lips with a kiss.
A big open-mouthed hot and heavy kiss that would leave them breathless if they had any plans of letting each other go.
But looking at them continuing without a care, it seemed like they had no plans of stopping any time soon.
Lina hooted excitedly when she saw her big and muscular Uncle Pat bending down to accommodate the kiss from her lean and fit Uncle Ace who was a couple of inches shorter.
Wade and Wayne quickly covered her eyes and interrupted the show that she was watching.
When she felt their hands move away, her uncles had already separated. They were leaning on each other's forehead as they gasped for their breath.
'Good Lord! They have great stamina! I too want to kiss someone for such a long time!' She sulked when she thought of her single dog life.
Having received his welcome greeting, Uncle Pat was once again the same old happy-go-lucky guy as he held onto Uncle Ace's hand tightly.
"Let me freshen up and then we can talk while eating." Ace said as he walked towards the staircase with Pat following after him.
He once again ignored Uncle Pat but the hand that he did not let go, contradicted his behavior.
Lina giggled when she saw Uncle Pat chasing Uncle Ace up the stairs.
'By the look on Uncle Pat's face, they are definitely going to be late!' Lina blushed when she thought of what they might be doing soon.
The twins shook their heads when they saw this and chuckled.
While they were waiting for their uncles to come back, Butler Mo came to inform them of something.
"Young Miss Stacy called and said that she would not be coming back home tonight." He bowed and left after conveying the message to them.
Lina felt her stomach drop when she heard the butler's words.
She knew exactly what the message meant, that Stacy would be spending the night with someone else.
'Who is she with?' She felt her mood sour when she thought about this.
Noticing her troubled face, Wayne tapped on her shoulder to get her attention.
"You don't have to worry about it because she went out with Aya. She left sometime before lunch." He reassured her when he felt that she might have misunderstood something.
He was right, Lina had misunderstood when she heard the message.
She was worried that if Stacy was out with someone else then it might hurt Aya deeply.
But when she heard that they were together, all her worries vanished and she heaved a sigh of relief.
