(If ya'll know anything about Star Wars, shits boutta get spicy. Merry Christmas btw.)
-7AM, Limitless Penthouse-
The holoscreen flickered on as it does every morning. It was playing the morning news for Coruscant and by ȧssociation, the Republic. In fact, this was actually the morning routine of most officials in the galaxy as it was a great source of information. It is often a marvel how quickly the media can acquire information.
"Good morning Coruscant. It's gonna be a hot one today in the Senate District. Don't dress too warm unless you want to sweat through your attire…"
Looking around the room, there were clothes scattered everywhere. This was a common sight the past two weeks since Tyler returned from Carnelion IV. Emily wasn't exactly looking for money, but no one would ever say no to getting access to the luxuries that come with it. In addition, she has even paid for dinner a few times despite Tyler's bottomless bank account.
Tyler raised his arms. One of them went straight up into the air but the other one was blocked. He rolled over to find his lover cuddled up against his shoulder. He smiled and gently replaced his shoulder with a pillow before rolling over and sitting up on the edge of the bed.
This time he was able to raise his arms and stretch to his heart's content. A deep yawn escaped his gaping mouth before he groggily stood up and walked to the bathroom.
As he entered the comfortable room with heated tiles, the lights turned on and the news broadcast moved to a smaller holoscreen next to the mirror.
He planted his hands on the counter and raised his head. He was a mess, not that he expected anything else due to the lack of sleep the previous night. Tyler turned around and headed to the toilet. It was time for his morning dump.
As he sat down on the toilet, he checked his stat window. It was glorious.

Once he was done reading through his stats, he stood up and hopped into the shower. Once he stepped in, the pre set temperature water shot out of the walls and ran down his body. He had quite a slender figure but there was the strength of a beast hidden behind that facade.
After a nice long shower, it was now 7:30. Stepping out of the shower, he came out of space and began listening to the news cast as he did his hair.
"...clean up efforts by the Senate have been proceeding nicely on Carnelion IV. Ever since they have joined the Republic, they have turned into a valuable trade hub in that sector due to the lack of habitable systems. They continuously thank Limitless… Hold on, we have breaking news from the Galactic Senate."
Tyler perked up at this. It was not often that something from the Senate was considered breaking news.
"Supreme Chancellor Valorum has just called for an emergency session of the Galactic Senate. It is to take place in two and a half hours. There is no word on what it is about but we will report as soon as we find out more."
Tyler smirked. He was looking for something to do today. Who knows? It could be something exciting. He does love his drama. He decided to give Chancellor Valorum a call after putting a shirt on.
Valorum picked up his communicator as his hologram popped up. "Draco, it has been a while. How are you doing my friend?"
Tyler smiled. "It has been a while. I am doing quite well. I've been enjoying some time with my girlfriend. How is the family?"
Valorum sighed. "I was supposed to leave on a vacation with them this morning. I was very excited for a week off from senatorial duties. The galaxy never sleeps my friend."
Tyler shook his head. "That it does not. Fortunately, there are some new renovations that were just completed at my guild hall. If your family would like to come check it out one evening, everything would be on the house."
Valorum's eyes lit up. "Are you sure? You don't let anyone in aside from guild members and esteemed guests."
Tyler laughed. "And what do you think you are, Chancellor?"
Valorum chuckled. "I guess that is fair. So, to what do I owe the pŀėȧsurė of your call?"
Tyler smiled. "I heard there was an emergency session called today. Anything I should be concerned about?"
Valorum sighed. "There have been some concerning developments. I was actually about to send an invitation to you personally but I guess that is unnecessary at this point."
Tyler raised his brow. "Can you tell me anything or are you just teasing me right now? I'd like to be able to launch my own investigation. You know how deep my network runs."
Valorum smirked. "That could actually be quite helpful as long as the information is from good sources."
Tyler chuckled. "I am pretty sure that they would think several times before lying to someone like me."
Valorum nodded. "This is true. I would appreciate it if you could report on anything you find. What I need you to look into, is the disappearance of a large group of senators that have all been ȧssociated with each other over the last few years. Some of them include the Techno Union and the Trade Federation."
Tyler raised his brow. "By any chance, has there been increased traffic over Geonosis?"
Valorum let on a confused look. "I can have someone look into it. What would be significant about that?"
Tyler chuckled. "My informants have reported that there has been some Sith activity in that system. It would make sense if they were related since Palpatine is ȧssociated with the Trade Federation."
Valorum sighed. "This could mean trouble. I hope this is not what we needed the clones for."
Tyler scoffed. "War is coming my friend. I suggest you get everything in order. It might be helpful to grant you emergency powers and appoint a committee of senators to lead the war effort. The various guilds will also be of great help." He could not let a possible source of revenue fall through the cracks."
Valorum sighed. "Very well. I hope I can count on you to put forth the motion at today's session. I would also ask that you check on the status of the navy construction and the clone production. Consider this as part of your responsibilities in the commission of the army. Please also check in on the status of the officer training curriculum in the Jedi Temple. I hope the officers I have sent over have achieved some significant results."
Tyler nodded. "Consider it done, Chancellor. I will ask for a report on the starship construction but make a visit to Kamino personally. I wish to check on the progress of their training. I will need to bring Master Sifo Dyas with me for that so I can check on the Jedi Temple when I pick him up."
Valorum smiled. "I don't know what I would do without you Draco. Your loyalty and resourcefulness is unparalleled among my supporters but more importantly my friends."
Tyler shook his head. "The feeling is mutual Valorum. I must make arrangements now so I will let you go. I do have one last request. Please have the officers that you have appointed as high command meet me in the hangar at the Senate building. It would be best to show a unified front."
Valorum smiled. "Brilliant idea. I will have someone summon them immediately. See you soon."
Tyler nodded. "Indeed." He then hung up.
Tyler sighed. "So much to do. At least I won't be bored. Emily! It's time to get up. We have things to do."
Emily rolled over and called out from the other room. "Ughhhhh, just five more minutes."
Tyler rolled his eyes. "What shall you wear today for the session? I'll take it out for you. Did you not hear the news?"
Emily shot up from the bed. "Shit, I heard it but I didn't exactly process it. I need to shower."
Tyler leaned over and let his head pop out from the bathroom. "Yes you do babe. Come on, chop chop!"
She hopped out of bed and briskly walked to the bathroom. As she walked in, Tyler grabbed her by the waist and pulled her in before wrapping his arms around her nȧkėd back. He then leaned in and gave her a sensual kiss before releasing her and walking out of the bathroom. Seconds later, he heard the water kick on.
He quickly finished getting dressed. He put on his form fitting white shirt and slid a dark blue cardigan over it. He then put on a brown leather belt that was fitted with his equipment after pulling on flexible, beige chinos. On his feet, he put on fashionable dress boots that were a dark brown. They matched his belt.
Heading to the kitchen, he went straight to the cabinet. He pulled out a scotch glass. He then went to the freezer and pulled out several ice cubes. Lastly, he pulled a bottle of 100 year aged Naboo Whisky out of the liquor cabinet. This bottle ran him 400,000 credits, or about $1.6 million.
This was only a small drop in his finances. Ever since two of the resorts have finished on Scarif and Hoth, the money has been rolling in. He was currently sitting on a comfortable 2.8 billion credits. This, however, was nothing to the liquid and capital worth of Limitless and its subsidiaries. He is making hundreds of millions of credits each day off of the resorts, trade, and fuel sale. He has also started some liquor startups for various types of alcohol including wine on Naboo and Tequila on Tatooine.
He then made some calls. His first was to Jango Fett. He needed him to inform Kamino that he would be visiting later today with Republic High Command. Next, he called Master Yoda and informed him that he would be visiting the Jedi Temple to check on the progress of the officer training. Lastly he called his mom.
Julia picked up the call as her hologram showed up on the communicator that is installed in the kitchen. "Good morning Ty, I hope you're not too bored with nothing going on. I know you always get into trouble in situations like these."
Tyler scoffed. "You think I wouldn't be able to keep myself busy? I will actually be coming to the Senate today."
Julia's eyes lit up. "That's wonderful! Padme will be excited to see you again. Bail will also be happy to see you."
Tyler sighed. "I am not sure they will feel the same after the subject of today's session."
Julia raised her brow. "Do you know something we don't?"
Tyler shook his head. "I don't know if it is my place to tell you but there will be a polarizing topic covered today."
Julia sighed. "That does not sound exciting. It is still hard for me to believe that this is my world now. Rather than an executive ȧssistant, I now help govern a galaxy. These are crazy times we live in. However, I wouldn't trade this experience for anything. It is exhilarating."
Tyler tried to put a fake smile on his face. "Let's hope that the upcoming events don't change that."
Julia frowned. "Well it is always a pŀėȧsurė seeing you honey."
Tyler smiled. "Glad that won't change anytime soon. Anyways, I'll see you in the senate chamber. I will be going somewhere after so I need to take a starship."
Julia nodded. "Sounds good honey. See you in a bit, love you."
Tyler smiled. "Love you too, mom." He hung up. It was now 9AM. It was time to head to the Senate building.
Tyler scoffed. "Em, you almost ready?!"
The door slid open revealing a beautiful woman dressed in an equally breathtaking dress. "As a matter of fact, I am. Are we grabbing breakfast to go?"
Tyler nodded as he pressed a buŧŧon on his wrist communicator to have the staff prepare his and her breakfasts. "Indeed. We should get going. You can fly there with me but then we will part."
Emily frowned. "I'm guessing you have some 'Draco Business' to take care of?"
Tyler chuckled. "You know me too well. I would hope that you're used to it by now."
Emily shrugged. "I guess that is fair. Guess I'm happy we got to enjoy ourselves this past week."
Tyler nodded and gave her a cool look. "Yes we did, babe. Anyways, let's be on our way. I have some Admirals to meet."
Emily's expression dropped. "Don't tell me…"
Tyler hushed her with a finger over her mouth. "You'll find out everything at the session today."
A comfortable ride later, they arrived in the Chancellor's hangar. Tyler usually comes here instead of the Senatorial hangar to avoid having to deal with the usual BS of senators suċkɨnġ up to him. No matter the setting, there will always be those trying to ride on the coattails of a successful man.
Waiting in the hangar were a few officials. Three men wearing military formal wear were lined up behind the Chagrian man in the front.
The man stepped forward. "Lord Draco, it's a pŀėȧsurė to see you again."
Tyler smiled. This was one of the few people that didn't try suċkɨnġ up to him. Not that he needed to anyway given his position. "Vice Chair Amedda, the pŀėȧsurė is all mine. I trust you are here for introductions?"
Mas Amedda nodded. "Indeed. These men are Admirals Kilian, Coburn, and Yularen. They are the highest ranking officials in the military. As of this moment, you are now General of the Grand Army of the Republic, making you their only commanding officer other than the office of the Chancellor."
Tyler raised his brow. This was different than he remembered. I guess the extra preparation he has the Republic take resulted in some changes. Hopefully the Jedi that did not do well in the officer training would not be held in the same esteem.
Tulare stepped forward and stood at attention. "General Draco, on behalf of Republic High Command, we look forward to working with you."
Tyler nodded. "At ease Admiral. Feel free to call me Draco, all three of you. I hate the formalities and titles. I'm here to get shit done rather than keep up appearances."
The three Admirals smiled. Draco was exactly as the rumors had stated. This drastically differed from other Jedi who were more concerned about their religion than the good of the people.
Tyler turned back to Amedda. "Vice chair, if you don't mind, I have some matters to discuss with the Admirals."
About 20 minutes later, it was time for the session. During that time, Tyler discussed the agenda for the rest of the day with his Admirals. He would have them accompany him to the Jedi Temple and then to Kamino.
Unlike where he usually goes Tyler was accompanied by the three Admirals in a pod just for the Grand Army of the Republic. As a General of the high command, he was now an important galactic official.
As they stepped into the pod, Valorum began addressing the senate. "Good morning everyone. It is quite unfortunate to have to meet under these circumstances. As some of you may have realized or heard, a large group of Senators have disappeared all at the same time."
Suddenly, a voice familiar to Tyler called out over the speakers. "Indeed, Chancellor, they have."
Accompanying the voice, a hologram of Count Dooku popped up in every single Senatorial pod. "I have a few things I would like to announce." He let on a sinister smile.
