No wonder they never found any signs of any moving fortress… they were outside the planet. Luke didn't know how that was possible. However, considering that his fortress was like five times smaller, Luke assumed that the others had some extra features. Aside from summoning monsters and flying.
"Come to think of it… our ice castle is half of the size of the one we found in New York, I had forgotten about that," Luke said.
"There are many things we still don't know about the system… I suppose that adds to one of those," Shalia said. "Attacking their moving fortress isn't something we can't do in space…"
"Rina, what do you see when you use the crystal?" Luke asked.
"I can't see anything, but I can feel that I can control the fortress and make monsters spawn," Rina said.
It was something similar that Luke felt when he used the other ice castle… was it a limitation because they weren't the original owners of the castle? It was hard to say… In any case, the other overlords probably come around the same time to check their groups and loot. Luke decided to wait for a few hours, and when he saw the moving fortress returning and the monsters back to land… none of them seemed wounded, and while a high focus could help, it was hard to imagine that also helping restore the swords of the arachnid warriors. They probably were restored by using the power of the overlord.
Things got complicated again… but at least Luke realized why they didn't notice his group actions until now. If they were in orbit, then it was only natural that they wouldn't see some changes in the world's surface. Using one of the best tools was what helped Luke's group…
"For the time being, let's check the locations of all battlefields and then we will use the chaos to our advantage," Luke said.
Getting close to those was too dangerous, but since the same species of monsters were being used, they could find those even from a distance, and so they did it. As if they were forming a Pentagon, there were three battlefields. Thanks to that, they managed to identify the location that the overlords were targeting. According to Rina, that was just a grassland ten years ago, but there was a small grove there. Even from a distance, they could see that it was a rather colorful grove. That was one of the signs of trees rich in mana. Unfortunately, they didn't find any signs of the shelters where they were supposed to be… in fact, some battlefields were way too close to those places. It was a clear sign that the elves ended up being targeted by enemies from both sides. It was hard to imagine them escaping that encirclement.
In any case, Luke, Rina, and Shalia returned to the first battlefield and confirmed that things were as chaotic as usual. The monsters were just chasing each other without using any formation, and as if their sole goal was to kill as many as possible without dying along the way. While attacking during the day by approaching them from behind and using the smoke as a disguise was possible, Luke decided that they would attack them at night on their first attempt. Their first target would be the Arachnid Warriors since Luke didn't want to risk being hit by their Sonic Blades level ten which they could use with their four swords.
"Our goal here is to kill as many of them as possible and steal some of their loot before letting any of them notice us," Luke explained. "That is why I will use my bow. Rina will buff my INT with her magic and Shalia will freeze any monster that might notice us, once that happens, I will focus on them."
"Only some of the loot? Not all of it?" Shalia asked.
"The overlord might notice that something is weird if we still all of them, but if we take half and decrease their numbers, he will think that his troops just failed today," Luke explained. "Their power level is almost the same, so any small change might affect the whole battlefield of this size."
Luke was being careful, as usual. Perhaps he was being even more than usual since the main enemies still were unknown. Nevertheless, he didn't hesitate when night came. He approached the enemies from behind, and despite the smoke, he still easily found the enemies and their loot without being noticed. Rina immediately boosted Luke's INT, and then he pulled the string of his bow completely. He felt his mana being drained at a fearsome speed, but that didn't stop him. However, it seemed that he exaggerated and didn't trust Rina's power… he let the string go, and in the next moment, the head of his target exploded.

Luke was left speechless… he knew that he had gone all out, but he didn't expect that he would explode the head of a monster one hundred levels above him. However, he considers the conditions. He attacked from behind, going all out while being buffed, and his weapon was at a rare rank. It seemed pretty normal that he would defeat the enemy like that. In any case, he adjusted his strength little by little while he was attacking the enemies, and he confirmed that using half of his power would be enough. In any case, after seeing them up close, Luke realized that the sword swords of the arachnid warriors were pretty cheap. It was the one that cost four hundred gold coins. They didn't disappear when they, though, but they still were trash…
In any case, even though they killed dozens of them in a few minutes, the sound of the battlefield prevented them from being found. When the enemies began to retreat because of their lack of numbers due to Luke's plan, he decided to retreat as well… alongside the loot he had stolen.
