"Sir, I don't know what's going on. I always feel that there is someone manipulating this from the dark. It doesn't seem like a simple post out of boredom, but more of like a targeted attack." Confusion was written all over Hiram's face.
Deleting posts was something only a powerful person could do.
Who could it be?
"Can't you find it out?" Charles frowned at him.
"I'm investigating." It was kind of challenging for Hiram to find a lead.
While they were discussing, Charles' phone suddenly rang.
It was Angelina.
"I just read the news about a woman from medical school who gave birth to a child for another man five years ago. What's going on?" The news about this woman sparked her curiosity.
She wanted to know who it was.
So, when she saw the news by accident, she immediately called Charles to ask.
"What news? Why didn't I see it?" Because Charles had no intention of telling her more details, he pretended not to know the truth.
"The news about... a woman who gave birth to
o help you? I'm about to go home too."
The more that Jessie treated her right, the more Nancy felt odd.
"No, I can do it myself." Her mind was still not at ease.
"Okay, see you tomorrow."
"See you tomorrow," Nancy answered perfunctorily.
"Oh, Mr. Fu, you really are persistent!" Jessie said in a flattering voice.
But Charles didn't even glance at her and went straight into Nancy's office.
"Let's go," he commanded.
"Let's go." Perhaps it was because she was too nervous, that when she stepped forward, she suddenly felt a dull pain in her feet. She lost her balance.
She almost fell on the ground. Fortunately, Charles was there to save her. He fell in his arms.
"Why are you so careless? Is there anything bothering you?" A faint smile spread across his face.
"No, I just feel a little pain in my foot!" Her face heated, so she avoided his eyes.
"Well, it's really a good excuse. Be good. I'll hold you." In one swift move, Charles lifted her up and walked out of the office.
