The dinner ended with everyone feeling warm and happy.

After washing the dishes, Nancy left the kitchen and saw the two children playing blocks. She found Charles and Edward on the sofa watching TV together.

The two men were watching international events and chatted as they watched. Nancy had no interest in their conversation, and remained quiet.

"Kids, do you need me to help you shower?" Nancy asked.

"Mommy, bathe me first!" Nadia requested as she ran over.

"I can bathe by myself. I’m a little man now!" Bobby answered matter-of-factly as he came over.

Taking the two children’s hands in her hands, Nancy turned to go upstairs. As she passed Edward, she noticed a red spot on his arm. Squinting to take a better look, she realized that it was blood on his arm. She walked over to him in horror.

"Edward, is your arm hurt?"

Edward rushed to cover the spot with his hands. "It’s not a big deal; it’s just a small wound."

Frowning, Charles grabbed Edward’s hand and slowly lifted his sleeve. His arm was covered in wounds.

"Charles, I don’t

again.

"I will." Edward raised his eyebrows at Charles, surprised by his concern.

Charles went upstairs and took a shower.

Nancy was leaning against the headboard as she read her book. Putting the book down, she suddenly asked, "How’s Edward doing? Are his wounds serious?"

"He isn’t badly hurt; he will recover soon," Charles reassured her. He didn’t want Nancy to worry.

"Charles…" Nancy protested. Nancy leaned against Charles’ arms, feeling devastated. "I think your uncle and Joseph did it. We have to do something about this…"

Charles stroked Nancy’s hair gently. "Don’t worry, I know how to handle this. They were targeting the TS Group. I won’t let them get away with this."

"You have to be careful. There are two of them, but you're just one person," Nancy said. Responsibility for the TS Group fell solely on Charles’ shoulders. Angelina had previously offered to help him with the business, but she had no experience in running a business. The only thing she knew how to do was scheme against women! As for Hardy, he was no match for Derrick.
