She shut her eyes and tried to calm herself, but her entire body and mind was burning in flames. She tried excusing herself, pushing herself through the cameras and people, but they wouldn’t leave her alone.
“Leave me alone!” She shouted and continued to head to her car. She should really learn from Suu Jin and hire a bodyguard. Maybe she would talk to Manager Bonnie about providing them with one. Then her thoughts went to her sister. Did Star get bombarded like this when she arrives and leaves the dancer’s studio?
The flashing of lights was brighter than the sun, blinding her as she tried to get to her car.
‘Why did it feel so far away?!’
“Jenell,” Kaiden’s voice entered her ear and she turned to find him behind her. He held onto her waist maneuvering her past the flashing cameras to her car. By the third blink, she was already staring at her driver side door. Unlocking her car, Kaiden opened the door and helped her inside. His face was so close to hers when he decided to help buckle her in.
If she stuck her tongue out slightly, she would touch his lips.
“I’ll make time for you,” Kaiden touched her face and gently tucked her long raven hair behind an ear, “Tell me when you arrive back. Drive safe, Jenell.”
She watched him stare at her for a moment before offering a smile. He closed her door and stepped back, as the paparazzi surrounded him. Jenell started her car and pulled out slowly, watching Kaiden staring at her as she left the parking lot. She felt numbed. Why did she feel numb?
She didn’t even realize how she got from Peony Studio and back to her home. Sitting in her car, she stared at her phone in her hand. Kaiden… Kaiden wanted her to tell him she was fine, she made it back safely, but…
She covered her face and groaned upset with herself. He was only this way because she was the one to force it on him. If she didn’t go with Star, Kaiden wouldn’t even reacted the way he did! Frowning, she left her car and into her home without replying back to the raven haired man.
Back at Peony Studio, Taemeng was sighing as Kaiden told them what had happened. That blue eyed female was weird to him. She was just too jealous and controlling in his opinion. Kaiden should like someone like Star: reserved, kind, and altruistic.
“Star,” Kaiden spoke up, “Can you see if she made it back? She isn’t replying back to me.”
The female idol nodded and she really just wanted to shake her group member. She knew it. Jenell was stirring up something. It wasn’t that Jenell does it intentionally sometimes, but the female’s temperament was too hotheaded for her own good. Star sent a message to her friend and received an immediate response back.
Kaiden stared at Star who relayed the information that Jenell made it back fine. The all rounder nodded and thanked Star, but his mind was preoccupied with why Jenell was upset with him. He hadn’t seen her in a while and what he told her was true. He had been busy helping Taemeng with his new influx of trainees. He had also been busy preparing for something that made his heart race and his body sweat. Something that could make or break his relationship with the blue eyed female.
Yet… it seemed as though their relationship was already on the rocks. Kaiden texted the blue eyed princess that he was glad she made it safely to her home and threw himself into helping the trainees. This way, he could focus on elsewhere instead of the female avoiding him.
Over at Suu Jin’s household, Shun was busy collecting birthday greetings and creating a slideshow for his good friend’s birthday. Wen Dong was going to be 19 and Shun wanted to embarrass his friend. He dug up pictures he could find through paparazzi images, memes, gif, and even those that were photoshop.
Xiong Shun didn’t keep many things and only the picture of Wen Dong and he when they were 7. So, Shun had to make do with what he got. He also created a playlist of Wen Dong’s favorite music and asked Jin if he was willing to sing for the purple eyed man.
“Of course,” Jin had nodded lifting Angel high into the air, “What song?”
“Honest, one of your best hits,” Shun mentioned and Jin held the baby girl close before kissing baby cheeks.
“Ah. Okay,” The pink haired idol nodded and Shun smiled thanking him.
“I’ll ask Ping Ping’s parents to bake Ah Dong a cake. Ping Ping and Tae are gathering birthday videos from their fans. Mm… What else are we missing?” Shun questioned and glanced at Peter who was lying on his stomach.
“Well, the babies aren’t 2 months yet, Ah Shun. I’ll stay and care for them. You could set it up at his place. I think his mother would cooperate,” Jin mentioned and Shun lifted Peter to hold him.
“But… You don’t want to be there?”
“I do, but we said 2 months, remember? Video call me and it would feel like I am there too,” Jin kissed his forehead and Shun pouted.
His lover wasn’t going to be there, but he also understood why. Sighing, he nodded and was about to ask about outfits when Peter started crying. Quickly getting up, Shun went to heat a milk bottle. Peter didn’t want it. Checking the baby’s diaper, it was still clean. Singing and rocking Peter, the baby continued to cry.
“Ah Jin! I don’t know what to do!” He cried in panic as he tried to see what was wrong.
Jin handed him Angel and took Peter off his arms. The pink haired idol stared at Peter and tried rubbing the boy’s back, but Peter continued to cry. Shun quickly took off the booties on the baby’s feet, thinking maybe that was the reason. Peter stopped crying for a little before the boy was bawling again.
“Call Auntie,” Jin hurried to say as he tried to rock and rub Peter’s back, hoping it would calm whatever ailment the boy felt.
