Shun did as asked and listened to the dial tone before it was picked up. Quickly explaining the situation, Ping Ping’s mother asked a lot of questions until she offered some advice.
“Try taking off his entire outfit. He might be too hot or the clothes are scratchy to his sensitive skin. If that is why, he would need to only wear true 100% cotton.”
Jin quickly followed the instructions and Peter’s crying slowed to sniffles. Green eyes and blue eyes stared at one another with relief.
“You two would need to also wear only 100% real cotton too, since you both hold him to your chests, right?”
“Yes,” Shun breathed out relieved, “Thank you auntie. You are super smart.”
“Ping-er isn’t the first person I raised, after all,” the female elder laughed, “Call me anytime. I miss them already.”
“We’ll be sure to visit in a month,” Suu Jin smiled, “Thank you auntie.”
“No problem sweetheart. Bye.”
Jin frowned and laid Peter down on the sofa beside Shun. Getting up, he went to the room. Shun watched and smiled, knowing exactly what his lover was doing. The man was probably looking through the blankets, the fabrics, the clothes and everything to see if they had 100% real cotton items.
“Then we would probably drop some of the clothing sponsors,” Shun whispered and looked at Peter who was making baby noises. Smiling, Shun bent down to kiss Peter’s baby cheek rubbing the small hand.
Jin walked out with a blanket, one that would cover either one of them. Wrapping it around Peter, they saw the slight quirking of lips. Shun looked down at Angel who was just blinking up at him.
“Ah Jin, we will be dropping the baby clothes sponsors then, right?”
“We could tell them about the situation. If they have a 100% natural cotton line, then we will continue with them. If not, then we’ll have to drop them,” Jin stated and kissed his lips, “I love you.”
“I love you too,” Shun grinned as his cheeks warmed. Every time Jin said these words, Shun's body always reacted the same way. His heart would race, his cheeks would warm, and his mind just melted.
“You know,” Suu Jin suckled his neck, “We haven’t gotten the time to make love. I miss you.”
“You mean you miss my body?” Shun pouted playfully and Jin laughed biting lightly against his skin.
“Definitely that too,” The idol prince grinned and received a playful push away.
Grabbing his lover’s hand, Shun leaned against Jin’s shoulder and smiled. He looked at Peter in Jin’s arms and then at Angel in his.
Family. Perfect. Happiness.

Wen Dong didn’t expect much for his birthday. He received birthday wishes from his fans during meet and greet. He received packages in his mail from overseas and local fans. He even received cakes from people he didn’t remember. It was overwhelming and he envied people like Ping Ping who had gotten used to these things.
He wasn’t popular when he started as a trainee. His growth was slow and many were just following to know more information on his friends. He wasn’t the popular one in Mix4U Boys and he wasn’t the best looking. For Ping Ping, the boy was already popular at birth and even more now that he was the baby face of the group. Even Xiong Shun who started with no social media blew up within a couple of days!
He wasn’t as lucky as they were, so to see all the effort they put into making his birthday special made his heart cry with joy. The pink haired boy sang him an original song. It wasn’t the best, but it was funny nonetheless.
“Ah Dong is the bestest, Ah Dong is mine. Ah Dong is tallest, Ah Dong is finest, handsome, and cool. I love you.”
Ping Ping grinned so brightly, Wen Dong believed all the stars gathered along the pearly white teeth. Shun played music in the background and showed the video compilations of his famous images. The video of his fans wishing him a good year and their thankfulness for him made tears come to his eyes. The girls of Shinny Dolls sang his favorite song of theirs and then the video call to Wen Dong from Suu Jin appeared.
“Ah Dong, happy birthday,” Jin smiled and showed the babies, causing everyone to awe and his mother to ask him about grandkids.
“Ah Jin!” Ping Ping called out waving.
“Ah Ping,” Jin smiled and greeted everyone else, “I’m sorry I can’t be there in person, but I sent you a gift that Ah Shun brought with him. I’ll sing you my song "Honest". Give me a moment as I set up,” Jin smiled and saw Jin walking back and forth holding a crib, blankets, and then the phone was moving. Once it was placed steady, Jin smiled and began. The piano keys began to play and Wen Dong watched as Jin closed his eyes.
“I see people walking hand in hand down the avenue. The smiles the laughs I never knew... I needed,” The light tone entered the space and Wen Dong felt his heart clenched.
The reason he loved that song was because it reminded him of a high school memory. There was a girl he really liked, but never had the chance to tell her how he felt. She was beautiful and perfect, that all he ended up doing was play with her as friends. Whether she liked him or not, he didn’t know. It was a chance that was lost and listening to this song of Suu Jin’s always brought him back to that day.
It wasn’t a bad memory, but one that reminded him of his loss and to do better.
Ping Ping saw tears dripping off Wen Dong’s face and he felt his own tears well up in his eyes. Quickly moving to grab face tissues, he wiped the birthday man’s face. Wen Dong laughed and held him close as Jin finished his song. Thanking the pinkette and saying goodbye, they spend the rest of the day playing games.
His mother kept making insinuation on how pretty the girls of Shinny Dolls were. She even spoke about what their children would look like, which only caused the little pinkette to tilt his head with a frown. Thankfully, Ping Ping was respectful enough not to yell at Wen Dong’s mother. If he did, he knew his good friend would have been extremely disappointed in him.
Ping Ping's frown was evident and Wen Dong sighed patting the boy's head.
"Let's go play a game."
The little pinkette nodded and clung to him. Wen Dong welcomed it. Heading to where the others were seated, they sat down and reached for the cards.
They played a competitive game called Who Is The Werewolves?
