27 You drive me crazy

Henrietta used Joseph to shield her awkwardness,she didn't take Jeremy seriously when he said they had visitors, further more their relationship was a secret.She was also aware that the visitors were from upper class,majority of the people from the upper class looked down on the less privileged.

"Welcome honey." Jeremy said while standing up ,gave Henrietta a peck on the cheek and took Joseph from her hands.

"Peter,this is my lovely wife Henrietta.Honey this is my childhood friend Peter." Jeremy gave them a brief introduction.

"Welcome Peter ,pleasure hosting you."

"Thank you Henrietta,I was almost bored without you in the house we were dying to see you.Let me tell you a secret,You are the first person Jeremy has ever loved."

"Men with lies ! excuse me,I will join you in few minutes,again welcome and feel at home." Henrietta said while going upstairs.

Mary also sat down as she joined the men talk.Henrietta changed into comfortable wear and came down stairs.She was lucky,she had been taught by Sarah on how to treat guests,as she excused herself going to the kitchen to check on supper Mary joined her.The chef was almost done with supper preparations,the ladies took that chance and started discussing random topics,Mary was quick to note that Henrietta was not from a simple background,she knew a lot and appeared like someone who was well informed.

Jointly the ladies helped with serving supper,they all sat down and ate the delicious meal,Peter helped Josephin taking his meals.After supper,Mary wanted to exchange phone numbers with Henrietta but Henrietta had no phone.To cover up the embarrassment,Jeremy lied that Henrietta's line had some issues which were being sorted.Finally the get together was over and the visitors left in high spirits.

Immediately the guests left,Jeremy summoned Henrietta.

"Surely how can a full grown-up like you lack a simple phone."

"Jeremy not every one was born with a silver platter."

"So all that own phones were born with silver platter,Henrietta under this entire universe you are the only one without a phone,my goodness you could have asked for an advance payment.You wanted to announce to the whole world that your husband is incapable of taking care of his wife."

"You Said that yourself,don't blame me."

"What's your problem Henrietta,today you left me to welcome the guests myself,can you behave like a married woman,you are no longer a damsel."

"Jeremy ,I'm so tired I don't want us to argue." Before finishing the sentence Jeremy grabbed Henrietta and kissed her hungrily until she became breathless.Seductively he whispered into her ears.

"I love how your lips feel on mine.Baby you drive me crazy when you stare at me like that." He released her and ran upstairs.
