Chapter 31：Here’s My Monster Are Back

She furiously storm to him and grab his collar.

"Don't you dare to have another woman." she said making him gulp a bit.

'She gonna kill me!'

Yin Li didn't say anything as he stand still looking at her. After a few moment, he grab her hand and release it from his shirt.

"I'm tired. I have no mood to bickering with you." he pass by her and went to the bathroom.

In the bathroom, he keep thinking whether he want to try that option out or not.

He feels like that is her weakness. She can't stand if he having an affair. And mostly every woman will ask for a divorce because of this matter right? It's a good opportunity to try but…will it hurt her? What if she really hurt and not only that, what if she kill him instead? He still want to live.

Sighing, he finish his bath and went to bed.

Aurora went to bed a bit later than usual. She stayed at the living hall. Knowing that Yin Li probably won't going down, she went to upstairs and found that Yin Li already asleep.

She get on bed, and lay beside him.

She stroke his hair and caress his cheek gently.

She leaned over and kiss his lips slowly and long. That makes Yin Li scrunch a bit.

He sighing in his heart. 'She's in the mood.'

Knowing that there is no use to reject her or he will be in hell if he do that, he let her do whatever she want.

However, he was a bit surprise when she didn't do anything further than the kiss. She just..keep kissing him like she was savoring it and it somehow make him a bit relax too.

He didn't open his eyes when they were kissing. Then he suddenly he felt like something watery touch his skin. It's like a teardrop.

'Is she crying?'

Release the kiss, she turn over her body and sleep. Trying to hold her hiccup and sobbing sounds.

Yin Li also turn around and scoop her body to his embrace. He don't know what's her problem is, but when she sad, he just want to sooth her a bit.

They sleep with that position till morning. Since tomorrow is his day off, he planned on wake up a bit late.

After breakfast, Yin Li do the laundry while Aurora washing the dish. After she finish, she wipe her wet hand with a kitchen towel.

"Hey Yin Li, I wanna go to the market with you and buy some ingredients to cook." she said to Yin Li who is on the couch, watching a movie.

Took a quick glance to her, he just reply "Hmm" before he went upstairs and take his trench coat and wallet.

Aurora wear her boots and take her hand bag and a basket with her. They walk to the market near the town.

"Do you know how to choose the fruit and vegetables?" Yin Li ask when they standing in front of fruit and vegetables stall.

"Hmm..no. I just pick at the nice looking one." she smiling and continue to choose the tomatoes.

Yin Li didn't know how to respond. He also do the same. As long its look nice and good, it suppose to be good one right? Ahh..doesn't matter, it still can be eat.

The more he looks at her, the more he feel that she was a bit different this time. That.. she seem like she's changing. If Aurora that he know before will never lay her feet to this market. All have been buy by him and prepared by him.

She used to hate doing the house chores, but it's been awhile since he heard she nagging about the house chores. The house also not in a mess every time he went home. And he also less tired than the first time she live with him.

They went from one stall to another. Buying a lot of ingredient to cook. There is a flower stall around the corner.

Aurora stop at the stall and pick a three red rose, she pay the old lady that sell the flower and then she turn around to facing Yin Li.

Yin Li look at her with a question look. "What?" he ask.

"Here. For you." she give him the rose and continue to walk.

"Huh?" he tilt his head a little and look at her weird behavior today. Erm, nope. Since yesterday actually.

After they done buying the ingredients, they went home. Aurora want to make lime steam fish and some other dish. She don't know how to make it, so she ask him if he know how to cook it.

The area they living right now is near the harbor, thus, the town is likely have a lot of seafood kind as their main food.

"Yin Li, do you know how to make a lime steam fish dish?"

Yin Li rub his chin a moment. "Hmm. I think I know. But, I'm not sure if it taste good or not."

'Well, if the taste turn wrong does she gonna hit him again?'

"Oh, come here. Help me. We figure it out the taste later." she call him to help her do the cooking.

Yin Li feel a bit hesitate, but he still go to the kitchen. If not, he afraid that she will throw the knife to him.

He start with cleaning the fish while Aurora start with chopping the ingredients. They both looks like they were doing some experiment in the lab.

"Is this enough?" he said to her showing a small amount of salt to her.

Aurora want to say yes, but she also not sure. But then, she just nodded.

"I think, we should put this too right?" he show her a marinate plum.

Again, Aurora was not sure. But she still nodded.

"Okay. Let me taste the sauce." Yin Li said and scoop the sauce.

Taste it, he purse his lips.

'Umm..this is my last day to live."

Seeing he still froze there after take a sip, Aurora frowned a bit. He took the spoon from his hand and scoop another one for her to try it.

Sipping the sauce. She also froze. And then she burst into laugh.

Yin Li was so surprised seeing her laugh and turn a bit pale too.

'Is she gonna laugh first before she kill me?'

Wipe her corner of eyes, she put down the spoon and wrap her arm around his neck facing him.

"Thank you for helping me with the cooking. Even though it taste so sour, but it still can be eat." she smile and kiss his lips after that.

Yin Li dumbstruck a moment. He return the kiss.

'Is she really my monster wife?' he still have a doubt in his heart.

"Okay.. now let's eat.. oh wait, I think I can readjust the taste to be less sour." Aurora said as she release her arm and turn to the water dispenser.

Yin Li also turn to pick up the plate and place it on the table.

He have a relax and chill day off this time. After having lunch, they both watch a movie together in the hall and at night they both went out and dine at restaurant. Even though its not like the grand restaurant they used to go when they still rich, but they manage to adapt to a local and cheaper restaurant.

Well, at least they still can eat and live, right?

"Yin Li.." she call his name while running her finger on his chest.

"Hmm?"

"Do you really not love me?"

"Hmm..yeah.." he said while stroking her hair.

"Do you love someone else?" she ask again.

'If I say no, she will stuck with me, right? If I say yes, its means I dig my own grave. Umm…what should I say?'

"Hey..did you really have someone? Why you not answering my question?" her voice is a bit louder than before.

"I don't have anyone that I love right now. So, stop asking me. Let's sleep." he said and closed his eyes after that.

Puffing her cheek, he pinch his arm.

"You will never have anyone other than me." she whisper.

Yin Li still can hear it and he sighing inside.

'Ahh..here's my monster are back.'
