Chapter 30：I Found The Way

"So, you're suggesting to change her face?" Aslan ask.

"No. That'll too risky. I will never put her life in danger. Beside, surgery means, losing blood. Losing blood means, shorten life. So that is a totally no." Zoro shot him a serious look.

Aslan nod in understanding.

"It's okay. I'll protect you no matter what." He said to Athena and stroke her hair gently try to assuring her.

"Then, I'll tighten the system. Upgrading your weapon and make sure when you go out, bring your emergency button. Okay, princess?" he smile before turning to Aslan.

"As long as there is no rat running around my basement, there should be no problem."

Aslan smirking looking at him. 'Ahh…he know that it was me eh?'

Athena scrunching her eyebrow. "Huh? Rat?"

He ruffles her hair and wear his bag. "Yeah, big and black rat. If only I could kill that rat, my life would be much better. I'll see you again."

"Hmm..alright. Take care."

After Athena sleep at night, Aslan went to Zoro's house.

Knocking on the door, he standing wearing a sweater outside the house.

Not long after, Zoro open the door. He look at him with an annoyed face.

"Come in." he invited him inside.

Aslan follow him from behind until they reach at his basement.

Sit on his swivel chair, Zoro ask him. "What do you want?"

Aslan lean against the table and crossing his arm. "About her eyes color and earlier."

Zoro silent for a moment before he sighing after that. He turn on his computer, he type something on the keypad and a big see-through blueprint start to form out at the center of the hall forming a brain structure

He stand up and went to the blueprint. "This is her brain. I made this blueprint, so that I can find any problem that occur and prevent any unnecessary cause that might happen in future."

He then touch at the floating screen near him. "This is her bigger problem where I can't make it disappear."

The blueprint then change its form to a retina structure.

"I call it 'gin'. it's her killer instinct. Like an animal, when they feel threaten or frighted, they change to protect themself. So with Athena. She has that kind of instinct."

"So..the one.."

"Yup. It's her 'gin'. she will change her eyes color and start to kill every enemy or people who had intention to kill her. She can see and had a clear vision, but she can stop herself from doing that. That's why, whenever she done killing them, she will turn to fragile again. When the instinct gone, her sane will return back. She's not that person who will kill people just like that. But her instinct make her that way."

"Is there any things that we can do about it?" he feels a bit regret to let her cry alone that day.

Zoro shake his head. "No. It's in her blood. We can do nothing about it. As long as there is no attacking, the 'gin' will not appear. She will just be a normal person."

"Then, about earlier.."

"The gin want to force herself out. Meaning, she must be furious by just looking at the video. You can try to calm her down but only a recognized person can make her listen to you. Not everyone can do it."

He continue to tap on the floating visible key. "Here is her condition right now."

He show him a human body structure from the blueprint. The body structure showing the veins flow where it's supposed to be blood color, but right now is a golden color.

"So, any injury is not allowed."

"Correct. So now you know, I want to sleep. I had a job to do tomorrow." he turn off the blueprint and his computer.

Following him to upstairs, he then go back to Athena's house. He had a mixed feeling to her. Sorry, angry, sad and everything is mixed up. It makes him want to protect her more.

It's been a month since Aurora stay with him. She's getting more better at the house chores.

But the only thing that is still not changing is her behavior. She still treating Yin Li at her will .

Yin Li also keep coming home late. He doesn't want to stay long at home with Aurora's there.

He more like to spend his off working hour talking to a girl from before, Jessica. The one who he meet few weeks ago. The girl like to come to the restaurant and he always served her dinner.

Jessica is an open person. She's a quite charmer and understanding. She like to listen to his problem and even give him an advice.

She had a fiance who is currently sailing, working to make money. So she was left alone on this town. They only met once in a while and still didn't have any planning on getting married.

So they actually are two lonely people. Except that Yin Li is living with his wife.

Aurora feel so bored at home, she decide to go shopping and want to drop of at the restaurant where Yin Li working.

After she done shopping, she went to the restaurant. She pick the outside table and she run her eyes around the restaurant.

'Why Yin Li still not here?' she ask curiously.

Suddenly there is one woman caught her eyes, she was cute and quite beautiful too. She greet the waitress like they're friend.

After she taken a sit at the table, suddenly Yin Li come out from the restaurant and greet the girl. They talk a quite long and there is always a smile on his face.

Aurora clench her fist. She didn't take any action yet, because it still in public and here is Yin Li's workplace, so it'll be a problem if she causing a scene.

She stay still and keep looking at them two.

After the girl finish up her meals and pay for the bill, she walk to her home. Aurora take the chance to follow her behind.

Until they reach at the corner of the old building, she suddenly stop and turning around.

"Did you following me?" the girl ask Aurora which already startled by her question.

Inhale, she reply. "Yes."

"Ahh..and why is that?" Jessica cross her arm around her chest looking at the woman who is a bit 'fancy' to her eyes.

"I saw you flirting with my husband. So actually I want to ask you to stay away from my husband." she said straight-forwardly. Not hiding her true intention at all.

Aurora tighten her grip.

"Aren't you ashamed? Flirting with another woman's husband?"

"Hmm..but, he doesn't love you does he? He told me that it was you who force him to married you. Aren't you the one who should feel ashamed? Where's your dignity as a woman?" she smirk.

"You! It's has nothing to do with you if I force him or not. He's my husband! You better stay away from him."

"Really? I will not to. But, you can try to make your husband stay away from me. If he want though.." she smile mockingly and leave Aurora at the sidewalk after that.

Aurora grit her teeth. She storm back home and waiting for Yin Li to come home.

Once Yin Li open the door, Aurora throw him with a thick book to his head.

Thump!

"Ouch!" he touch his head and then he look at the book on the floor before he divert his eyes to Aurora.

"What's wrong with you?" he took the book and place it back to the bookshelf.

"You having an affair aren't you?!" Aurora jerk him out.

Yin Li startle for a bit. He then turn to look at Aurora.

"Is it gonna make you leave me?" he already smile on his heart.

'A-ha..I found the way.'
