Chapter 37：Which One Is You More Prefer?

Going downstairs, she sits on the luxurious sofa in the living room. Not long after, Aslan went to her.

"Sorry, I had a talk with my father." He said.

Athena just smiles at him.

"Athena, Aslan, let's have dinner," Hazel call both of them and went to the dining hall.

In the dining hall, everyone was there. Including two Aslan sister. They had a light conversation.

After dinner, Hazel take a turn to scold Aslan in her office, while Athena waiting at the living room together with Rachael and Raisya.

In Hazel office,

"Didn't I tell you before, befriend with Jye Yin will only cause you trouble. And now look at you. Do you really want to turn out to be like your real father?" Hazel ask him straightforwardly.

Aslan scrunches his eyebrows.

"Honey, its been ages..don't compare him with his real father. we the one who raised him.." Andy touches his wife's shoulder. Tries to calm her a bit.

"I didn't do it."

"Your mother's right. For now, I think its better if you keep your distance with Jye Yin. The news maybe will fade away in a certain time. You have your business to take care too. Take your time to clear back up your name." Andy feels sorry to his son. But this time, the news about his son is quite severe than before this.

"You not only bring your name, you know. Our name also has been stain by what you doing. Everyone will label us as a bad parent because of your doing. Be careful in the future." Hazel said with a regret voice.

She regrets because she didn't say anything back then when she knew that her son still close with another woman other than his wife.

So with Andy, he's a bit regret for not taught Aslan properly. Being a friend with a different gender is not a problem, it becomes a problem when they're too close and didn't explain their relationship to the public. They should draw a line while they still can.

In the living hall,

Athena sits quietly on the sofa while Rachael sits beside her. She like Athena more than Jye Yin. For her, Athena seems polite and nice. She looks so soft and beautiful.

While Raisya more favors Jye Yin than Athena. For her Jye Yin is more fun and friendly. Jye Yin likes to talk and always smiling. She had a great voice and her also beautiful.

"Erm sis Athena, about the rumor…how you still calm?" Rachael finally ask. She admires how Athena can still look calm because of her brother's doing.

Athena turns to look at her. She smiles and said. "He said he didn't do it. So, I believe him."

Raisya looks at her and rolled her eyes in annoyed.

"But, my brother has been long in a relationship with her before he married you. So, doing that with the one he loves is not a big deal to the fans.." Raisya said.

Athena just faintly smile. She didn't say anything.

"Hey, Raisya. You delusional like other people too. Brother As never mention that he in love with Jye Yin. If he really in a relationship, why did he need to hide it? Stop your nonsense." Rachael scold her sister.

"What? I'm telling the truth. The one who is the third wheel is her. Why does she want to act like she was the victim? Brother never had any intention to marry her in the first place. They were just married for the sake of her family's name. Her sister is the worst…"

"Raisya!" Andy calls out his youngest daughter name with a firm voice. He, Hazel and Aslan just walk downstairs to sending Aslan and Athena off.

Raisya immediately shut her mouth. She then glares at Athena and Rachael before she storms to her room.

"I'm sorry on her behalf. She still a kid. She doesn't know anything yet." Hazel went to Athena and hold her hand.

"Its okay, mother. I don't take it to the heart." she smiles. Well, what Raisya said is true. If Aslan didn't marry her in the first place, all of this would never happen.

Aslan holds her shoulder and said to his parents."We'll be leaving now. I'll clean up this mess, mom, pa.."

Aslan and Hazel nod. Rachael also smiles a bit.

"Okay. Be careful on the road."

In the car,

Aslan said to Athena.

"Don't take to the heart what Raisya said earlier. I'm not in a relationship with Jye Yin in the first place. So, you're not a third wheel."

"I know." She replied short and Aslan stroke her hair gently.

"Tomorrow, in the morning, I want to show you my own business empire that I've built. Then, in the afternoon, I want to hold a press conference. So, I want you to stick with me all day."

Athena nod. She's a bit tired. So she didn't feel like talking much. Since the scandal starts to spread, she always bottles up her feeling and that makes her less talk than usual.

Once they arrive at his mansion, Athena's eyes lit up a bit. Aslan's mansion is quite unique.

He had an airplane-looking house. The house design is really amazing. It has both wing and nose. Such a big house, but he only lives alone.

The house had servants, chef, and chauffeur. Once he returns home, the servants line up and greet them.

"Let me introduce, this is my wife. Athena. From now on, she is your madam and treats her nicely." Aslan said to all his servant.

Athena smile to all of them before they both went to his bedroom.

Once they both went upstairs, all of them start whispering each other.

"Did you see that? That girl is the one who in the news this morning, right? She's the third wheel between Jye Yin and master."

"Hey, don't say it out loud."

"She looks so snobbish. Who is she by the way?"

"Tch! This is bad. I ship master with Jye Yin. Now I really hate this girl for ruining my ship."

All gossip start running around the mansion.

Take off her trench coat, she looks around the room. His room is filled with a few painting from her.

She smiles seeing that her painting is in her husband's room. She never had a thought that Aslan will be one of her fans. All the painting in the room is the one she put a lot of effort to create it. The price for all the painting in his room is also the highest one.

"Are you also Nike's fan?" Aslan said from behind making her flinch a bit.

She chuckles heard the word 'fans'. How can she be a fan of herself?

She shakes her head. "Not really, I didn't know you like Nike's painting this much."

"Hmm, all her art has something that I feel familiar with."

"But, keeping her painting in your room..are you perhaps had a crush on her?"

Aslan smile. "Maybe. Maybe yes, maybe no. She's quite beautiful too."

Athena was dumbstruck for a moment.

Aslan pulls her into his embrace and kisses her lips.

"But…sadly I'm a married man."

"So, you're saying if you still not married, you will end up being together with either of Jye Yin or Nike?"

"There's a possibility to turn out to be like that."

"Which one is you more prefer?"

"Hmm..that's a tough question."

He led her to the bed and lied down, resting.

"Come on. I wanna know."

Aslan rubs his chin like he was thinking it hard.

"Maybe I'll go for Nike."
