Chapter 39：My Happy Day Has Come.

Aurora was eating her breakfast when she heard the news about Aslan's scandal. She almost spurts out her scrambled eggs.

"Oh my god! Is he really do that?" she yelled a bit loud from the couch.

"Stupid man! How could you do that to my sister?!"

"Urgh!! I need to call Athena.." she takes out her phone and wants to dial Athena's phone.

But just when she wants to touch the call button, she pauses and put her phone back.

'I had a feeling she runs an amok right now. Better not call her.'

She finishes her breakfast and takes a shower.

After she takes her shower, she went to her dresser want to put her serum and moisturizer.

She looks at her moisturizer and serum container. All have been used up. She rummages her handbag and re-recheck her makeup case.

'Oh shit! All of them almost used up.' she went to find her purse inside her handbag.

Open the purse, her eyes turned even wider.

"No!!!!" she shrieking and she slouched on the floor after that.

She turns gloomy the whole day waiting for Yin Li to come home.

"I'm home." Yin Li open the door and he was a bit surprised seeing Aurora curled up on the wood floor and playing her hand making a circle shape on the floor.

"Welcome back." she greets with a slow and sad voice.

"What's up with you?" he asks.. loosens his bow tie and ruffles his hair.

"My sweetheart…can you lend me your money?"

Yin Li sigh. He takes a sit on the couch and asks her "How much you need?"

Aurora's eyes lit up and she immediately jumps from the floor to the couch beside him.

"Erm..not much..just ten thousand.."

Hearing the amount, Yin Lin coughing a bit.

Aurora pats her back. "You have that much, right?"

Yin Lin opens his mouth, he wants to yell at her. But he suppresses his feelings and turns to look at her.

"Sorry, I don't have that much. By the way, what are you gonna do with that money?"

"I..I...I wanna buy my skincare product. All my skincare cream has been used up..and I don't have money too." she starts whimpering.

Yin Li sighs again.

"Your skin is good enough even if you not applying any skincare. Ten thousand..is too much for skincare. I can only afford you less than five hundred." he said.

"Hmmm…you will never understand us, woman..we use it so that we can feel more confident and look more beautiful.."

"Buy something else. There's a lot of other brands that are more cheaper than you use right now."

"I don't want to..my skin need special care."

He starts to feel annoyed by her stubbornness.

"You do realize that we are poor now, right? I seriously can't afford you to buy that thing. If you really want that thing, you can choose whether you want to return back to your family or you get a job and learn how to earn money!"

He stood up and leave Aurora in the living room.

She rolling on the couch while still whimpering like a kid throwing a tantrum.

"I want to buy it! I want to buy it!"

She stays in the living room until 3 am thinking a way how she gonna buy her skincare.

Finally, she gives up and went to the bedroom. Open the door, she looks at Yin Li who already sleep so soundly on the bed.

She secretly went to the dresser drawer and she took out his wallet. She opens the wallet and looks inside it.

After she looked at his wallet, her eyes start to wells up. She then took his phone and log in to his bank account. All of his assets have been freeze by her father. All of his cards also have been blocked.

She put back the phone on the desk. When she wants to put back the wallet, her eyes caught a red lease house letter.

She opens it and read the content. He rent this house for only 10 months. Now he already stays at this house for about six months. Which is mean he only has another four months before he needs to find another place or continue to rent this house.

The amount to renew the rental agreement is seven thousand. She gulp.

She sighs and she put back the letter inside the drawer. Get on the bed, she strokes his hair gently.

"I'm sorry I was too expensive for you."

She already decides. She wants to find a job and help him in saving the house rental money.

Early morning, she wakes up just after Yin Li went to work.

Taking bath and wear her formal dress, she went to the town and try applying for a job.

She had a Doctoral Degree in Management, even though she is mostly failing in her personal daily management, but still, she managed to get a good result and graduate from a prestigious university.

Unlucky for her, her father also blocks her from getting any job that hires people with more than two thousand per month salary. However, she still manages to get a job as the librarian clerk in the town with a salary of one thousand and a half per month.

Living in a small city is quite difficult to get a job compared with a big city. But, in the big city, the living cost is higher than in a small city. For them who is broke and can't access to get any job that pays higher than two thousand, they had no choice except to live in a small city.

She grinning all the way home, happy to get a job and she was happy to be able to help Yin Li.

She waits for him to return home.

"I'm home." he opens the door and he scrunches his eyebrow seeing Aurora smiling happily to him.

"What's up with you?" he asks the same question like yesterday. He feels like dejavu to ask the same thing for two times.

"Hehehe.. take a guess."

"You wanna return to your family mansion?" he asks and in return Aurora smack his face with the pillow on the couch.

"No way I leave you."

"Then?"

"I got a job."

Yin Li dumbstruck a moment.

"Hey..did you hear me?" Aurora shakes his body a little.

Back to reality, he facing her.

"Where? And why you want to work?"

"You said yesterday that if I want to buy my skincare I need to work, right? So I went to town and find a job. So I got one. I start tomorrow." she said in a happy tone.

"Oh..so what time you start your working hour?"

"I start at 8 and finish at 6, and I off every Saturday and Sunday."

"Oh? So that clash with my off day then." Yin Li already feel a bit happy. At least he can rest on his off day and since Aurora will be working, she also will be tired and she might not want to have sex too often like right now.

'Ahh..finally. My happy day has come.'
