Chapter 40：Where Did I See Her Before?

"Eh? What day you off?" Aurora ask. She forgot when Yin Li has his off day? She always saw him work and rarely get a day off.

Scratch his temple a bit, he said with a low voice.

"I off every Tuesday. But I take extra working hours, so.."

"Oh? That's okay.. so next week you can rest at home in your day off." She said making Yin Li frowned a moment.

'Did she eat something wrong today?'

"Erm, well..congrats on getting your new job." He said.

Aurora hugs him and then she kisses his lips. Her kiss becomes more passionate and Yin Li push her body slowly.

"You need to save your energy. You need to work tomorrow, so you need to wake up early and save your energy for your first day, right?" he gives her a reason to stop her from going further more.

"Oh! You right. Then, I'll head upstairs first. Good night Yin Li." she gives a peck on his cheek and runs upstairs after that.

Yin Li release a sigh of relief.

'Fuhh..I'm tired…' he also stood up and went upstairs, taking shower and go to sleep.

The next day,

Both of them wake up at the same time. This is the first time Aurora seeing Yin Li getting ready to go to work.

In her eyes, Yin Li looks so fresh and handsome early in the morning. That makes her inner desire more aroused.

She hugs him from behind, tries to absorb his diligent vibes into her.

"Hey, we'll be late if you keep clinging on me." He said that but he didn't push her away. He just let her clinging on his back.

"Mmm…who ask you to look so sexy in the morning?"

Yin Li froze. 'isn't that supposed to be his line to said that?'

He ignores her and went to wear his shirt.

Seeing him taking his uniform, she releases her hug. She also finds her white long sleeves shirt and a pencil skirt.

Before both of them path their way to go to work, Yin Li kiss her on the cheek and she returns him with the kiss on the lips.

"See you tonight." she waved her hand at him.

"Yeah, take care." he also waves to her and both of them went to a different direction.

Aurora arrives at her workplace on time, she starts to learn how to organize all the journal followed by the section.

Since this town is a bit far from the main city, people here are less modern than the people in the main city. They still used a journal and book to their referral. While in the main city, they already use a see-through tablet as their referral and most of the information is stored in the web base. They just need to click and type on it.

The library in the city also all is made from digital technology. Less work and more simple than her job right now which is she needs to deal with the books and paperwork.

"Aurora, put these journal on this section. Arrange and place the book followed by the character and use the moving stair for the high place, okay?" one of the librarian, Martha giving her instruction.

"Okay." She replied short.

She looked at the basket full of thick book and old journal from old generations. She sorts out the book and places it accordingly with the character. For the last book, she needs to use the moving stair to place it.

When she was focused on placing the book, suddenly there is someone walk to her and ask her.

"Excuse me, Miss. Do you know where I can find all the journal for the botany section?"

"Huh?" Aurora turns to look at the man and her hand which is holding the thick and heavy journal, slips and as she tries to catch the journal, she slips her feet on the step and…

Thud!

She landing on that man's body. While the thick and heavy journal that she has been holding earlier also hit that man forehead.

"Oh my god! I'm so sorry! Are you alright?" she asks and help the man to sit up. She's a bit worried. This is her first day and hitting customer on her first day? Seriously?

Ralph sit up on the floor with Aurora's help. He touches his forehead and looked at the journal which is already laying on the floor.

He takes the journal and passes it back to her. "Do you want to put this?"

Aurora frowned before she replies to him. "Uh- yeah."

"Which row?" he asks again.

"Umm..the second from the top."

He stands up and steps on the stairs, he put the journal at the right place.

"Thank you," Aurora said.

Ralph smile and when Aurora seeing his smile, she suddenly remembering Yin Li. They had the same kind of smile. Without her knowing it, she also smiles.

"What's your name?" he asks.

"Aurora."

"Nice name. I am Ralph." he extended his hand.

Aurora hesitates at first but seeing his smile, she takes his hand.

"So, Miss Aurora, I want to find journal about botany, do you know where they keep them?" he asks her again.

"Hmm. I'm new here. You stay here for a moment while I ask my colleague." she said and went to the counter.

Leaning on the counter table, she looks around. All of her colleagues are not around the table. She then took out a map that Martha give to her this morning.

She went back to the place where she bumps with Ralph. Standing there, he smiles again when seeing Aurora return back.

"Hmm. I don't find my colleagues, but I got us a map. So maybe I can show you the way."

"That's good. Thank you, Miss Aurora."

"Hmm..follow me." she doesn't know why, but she likes to see him smiling. And what's more is, he not stingy with his smile too.

Well, not like Yin Li. He used to smile a lot but then he stops to smile. The worst is, he stops to smile only at her while he smiles normally to other people.

5 minutes looking, finally, they found the section.

"Okay, Mr. Ralph, enjoy your time." She said and want to resume back her work.

"Eh, wait.."

"Huh?" she turns around.

"Do you mind a cup of coffee? You hit me pretty hard back there." He said making Aurora blushed a bit.

'Eh?! did I just blushed?'

She nod. "Sure. My bad, so my treat." she smiles.

'Eh?! Why did I smile?!'

Her inner keep shouting to her. While the outer keeps reversing everything the inner said.

"Good. I'll see you after you finish your working hour?"

"Sound great."

'Wait! What about Yin Li?!'

"Okay, see you later." he smile and she returned his smile before she went back to her post.

Divert his eyes to the rack, he still smiling. 'Hmm. where did I see her before?'
