Chapter 43：She Looks So Calm And Beautiful When She Was Asleep

"If you really want to allure me while we had a battle, you should take off all of it, you know. Then I surely will surrender." he smiles cunningly to her.

Athena squinted her eyes to him. "Pervert!"

Aslan laugh. He stood up and take out his sword.

"Alright, let see if you can take me down.."

He jumps from the where he stands to the next branch and the next branch until he was close to her.

He swings his sword to her and Athena duck her head and ready to attack him using her fist to his torso.

Aslan guards his torso by raising his knee and block her attack.

Got blocked by Aslan, she uses her katana and jumps down from the tree branch.

Aslan also jumps down and slip back his sword to sword holder behind his back of the body.

He standing in front of her with a bare hand. Since Athena's eyes not changing the color, it's fine to fight her with a bare hand. But, do not even think to attack her when she changes her eyes color. It's only a death wish if he tries to do that when she was in 'gin' mode.

Athena smiles and shakes her head.

"You really like to be slash by me aren't you?"

Aslan smirk hearing that. "I think I do."

"Very well," Athena raise up her katana in standby mode. She tightens the grip and ready to launch her attack.

She dashes to him and Aslan dodge her swing. He holds her hand and pulls it to close to him, but Athena kick his body and Aslan stepping backward, Athena pulls back her hand from his grip.

She speeds up her movement and Aslan also speed up his attack to catch up with her every defense and make an opening.

If he were really to punch and kick her, for sure Athena will be badly injured. She still a woman after all.

He already calculates Athena ways of defends when he shoots her earlier. Now he wants to calculate her strike speed by blocking her attack.

"Control your breath, Athena." He advises her while in the middle of the fight.

"I'm controlling it." she keeps attack him as she starts to pant a bit.

"Not enough. Keep up with your legs speed." he ducks his head when Athena tries to swing her sword to him and he pushes her legs a little using his foot.

Athena let her guard down and she slips her feet when Aslan push her legs.

Aslan catches her body from falling to the ground and she immediately swings her katana to him again.

Smiling, he grabs her wrist using his other hand before the blade touch his neck.

He lowered his head and kiss her lips deeply.

Athena wants to refuse him, but he plunges his tongue and intertwines it with hers. Every time she wants to retract, he will pull it back until she finally gives up.

Aslan chuckles as he releases his kiss.

"Can't resist me huh?"

Athena's face turn reddish and she pushes his body a little before she stands up properly.

"You trick me."

"Aren't you do the same to me too?" he help her to wipe the sweat bead on her forehead.

Athena froze a moment. 'Oh yeah, I did the same thing to him.' She then closes her katana and put inside her cargo-pants pocket.

He lifts up her chin and stares at her eyes.

"Now…the punishment.."

Athena's eyes turn wide. "Uh-oh."

"Take this.." he tickling her stomach and that makes Athena laugh and screaming.

"Stop! Stop! I can't! Stop, please! Bhaahaha.."

The birds in the forest fly away when she starts to laugh and screaming. Her voice can be heard by any kinds of animal there.

Lying in the ground, she was totally exhausted because of the laughing and the fighting. But what's more important is..she was happy. Too happy actually.

Kissing her cleavage softly, he looked at her after that.

"Something bothering you?"

Athena not replying him instantly. She sits up and stares at him lovingly.

"As...I don't have much time to live. I can't give you an heir too. I am willing to let you go if you have any intention to have a wonderful family. I don't want to hold you back anymore." she touches his cheek.

"Why are you saying this?" he scrunches.

"I give you an option. You already are my real husband for the past month. What else I can ask from you."

"Athena..it's my decision whether I want to stay with you or not. Are you not happy with me?"

"I'm happy."

"Then don't ever ask this again." he hugs her for a quite long before both of them finally stood up and leave the forest.

Open the door, Yin Li look at Aurora who already sits on the couch, watching some news.

"What are you watching?" he ask and take a seat beside her.

"Ergh! This asshole!" Aurora cursed. Yin Li gulp and then he turns to look at the television.

'Huh? Who is this?'

"You know him?" he asks and turns around to look at Aurora.

Aurora narrowed her eyes to her husband and grit her teeth.

"That's your brother-in-law! He's Athena husband." she shrilled a bit.

Yin Li was dumbfounded a moment. "He is?"

"Yes, he is..he takes our place when we run away. It's all your fault that my sister now is grieving have a husband like him." She growled and look at the television again.

Yin Li also look at the news. It's about that man is being caught having one night stand with his own best friend which is rumored is his girlfriend. Not only that, but he also a married man and he'd been labeled as a cheating husband.

He took a glance to his wife, read her expression and observe her reaction.

He then smiles inwardly.

"Hey, I wanna go upstairs. You should sleep early. Tomorrow you need to work right?" he said and remind her before he went upstairs.

"Oh..okay.."

While in the bathroom, Yin Li keep thinking. 'Should I try it? Or shouldn't I?'

What if she really kills him after that? But, what if she really buy it and leave him? She wouldn't really kill him, right? She loves him, and to the worst scenario is at least he will be hospitalized. But, still..she will leave him alone after that.

He finishes his bath and went to the bedroom. He looks at Aurora who already sleeping on the bed.

Put on his pajama, he slips under the comforter and turns his body, looking at her sleeping face. He stares her face for a quite long.

'She looks so calm and beautiful when she was asleep.'

Lay his head back to the pillow, he also falls asleep after that.
