Chapter 199: Gloria

After paying the entrance fee Shadowslash and the gang finally entered the Capital City of the Dragon Kingdom

The first thing Shadowslash did after entering was to search for the branch guild of the B and T association in the city

What caused Shadowslash a headache is that other than girls no one talks to him

There is one time when he asks direction to a couple and the girl started asking many things about him incurring the anger of the boyfriend

If he asks a girl their conversation would started to go in another direction this in turn really caused him such headache

He could not asks the elves to be the ones asking direction since it would attract a large degree of attention

Leafinia is also not valid since she is too beautiful

Al was too shy Sans was still in the process of absorbing energy so he could only turn to Shena

Shena agreed towards Shadowslash request after asking some people walking by where the location of the B and T association they finally manage to know where it is

After knowing where the location of the association is Shadowslash directed Crunch there

As they travel Shadowslash and everyone started looking around Leafinia, Erz and Iria was covered with illusions so they could not be seen

They all agreed that this city is much more prosperous than Archinviel City

After a couple of minutes they finally arrived at the B and T association

Shadowslash then took something from his pocket it was the letter of recommendation that old man Fresackio written for him

After he went inside together with Shena, Erz and Iria everyone started looking towards them

Shadowslash was extremely handsome while Erz and Iria were elves so of course they would gain much attention

After getting inside he walk towards the receptionist

The receptionist was a dashing young man he was playing with a cat like monster atop of the desk

Shadowslash scanned the cat like monster and was a bit surprised reading its information

Snowy Feline (Gold lvl 4) (Superior Grade) (Ice Type)

A Gold Rank monster that has Superior Grade is considered a powerful fighter

Shadowslash became more excited seeing how large the difference between strength of Archinviel City from the Capital City

Too bad Banjo wasn't here if not he wanted to show him off considering how rare a dragon type monster is

He already received the notification that Banjo have already awoken from his slumber a month before

He spent stabilising his current Rank and spent another month testing how strong he is and using his newfound abilities

He received his message that he was now traveling and would arrive two to three months later

"Excuse me can you give this to your guild master?" Shadowslash then presented the letter given by old man Fresackio to him

The receptionist looks at the letter seeing the mark of the B and T association and also the mark of an guild master he nodded

Suddenly a voice could be heard "No need give it to me immediately"

Shadowslash looks at the person that spoke the said person was a beautiful lady with a hot figure

She was just a bit inferior to Leafinia but unlike Leafinia who has an ethereal aura that would disperse others dirty thought about her this lady aura was extremely seductive like a fox demi-human in heat

"You are?" If Shadowslash's hormones were on effect he would definitely be attracted to this person too bad his body was still developing after all he was literally only one years old in this world

Seeing Shadowslash was not looking at her with lust filled eyes the lady was impressed what's more his gaze was extremely pure and innocent causing the lady to misinterpret him as a toddler

"I am Gloria Shamondioles the guild leader of this branch" The lady said in a proud voice she then took out an emblem that represent her as the guild leader

Shadowslash then gave the letter to her she immediately tore open the letter and started reading it

After a couple of seconds she finished reading it she then looks at him and said "In this letter it is said your strength is on Crimson Gold Rank and also you own a monster on Crimson Gold Rank, 6 Gold Rank fox monsters, 1 Bronze and Silver Rank Plum Leopard, 1 Bronze Rank Mountain Hawk, A variant Forest Bunny that is capable of healing and finally a dragon type monster who have managed to survive a Heavenly Tribulation?"

Even though she spoke in a calm manner her true feelings were on turmoil if what in the letter said is true this man in front of her is as strong or stronger than her

The receptionist that was listening to their conversation was shocked silly his mouth was agape as he looks at Shadowslash in horror

"Yes, I am here to register all of them and also my group" Shadowslash nodded causing both the receptionist and the guild leader to tremble slightly

Gloria nodded her head and said to the receptionist "Register them immediately I'll going back to my office"

As she finished she started walking back to her office but her steps were somewhat unstable

The receptionist then register them also since Shadowslash don't know how long he will be staying in the city he started chatting with receptionist

He found out that the receptionist name was Todd and just like what his name implied his not a noble since he do not have any family name

Actually Gloria was just like him both of them were orphans but unlike him she managed to be adopted while he started working in the guild to earn money

He was at first a cleaner of the guild then after working in the guild for years he manage to become a caretaker

After Gloria became the guild master in this guild she promoted him to be the receptionist

He owns only one monster since before he was already having difficulty taking care of himself let alone another

He managed to tamed the Snowy Feline which he named Snow when he was the caretaker of the guild

He found her during his travel outside the city seeing that it was also an orphan he pitied it and signed a contract with it

Shadowslash also started explaining about his background of course most of it were lied he told Todd about being a child who was very fond in taking care of monsters and the first monsters he signed contract with are foxes

They spent the whole time chatting with each Shadowslash was surprised by his luck in finding friend in B and T association

He then asks him where the building that sells property in the city

But what he got disappointed him it seems that there are no plot of land in the city that was for sell

He did not like living in the city since it would restrict his movement besides Violet and the others were there and he never could bring himself in putting in a Beast Pouch

Beast Pouch is one of the necessary item for Tamers since it could store monsters

Also he needed the land to create a branch guild of the Adventure Association in this city

Just as he thought that it was quite a hassle Todd said something "Even though there are no plot of lands that was available in the city the barren lands outside were sold cheaply by. nobles who owned them"

For Shadowslash this was great news so he immediately asks Todd who were the nobles that were selling the lands outside of the city

Suddenly Gloria's voice could be heard "If you are intending to buy the land outside of the city I could help you but I have a condition"

"Yes?" Shadowslash then asks but Gloria did not answered him and only told him to go to her office

After entering the room Gloria pointed at the chair in front of her telling him to sit down

"Okay I just talked to Branch Guild Leader Fresackio using the guild's communication crystal and after I heard your tale in the Archinviel Dukedom it seems that I was still underestimating your strength"

"From what I heard you are building a place that is called the Sanctuary and judging from your conversation with Todd earlier you also intends on building one here right?" Gloria asks

Shadowslash nodded not hiding it besides after he built the Sanctuary here he could not hide such large place in the eyes of many

"Since this is the case I wanted to let our association tamed monsters roam around the Sanctuary"

"Of course it is not for free I will pay 100 Gold Coins quarterly for every monster that the association would be giving in your care"

Shadowslash shakes his head and said "You could just pay me even just 10 Gold Coins for every monster monthly but there is a condition you could only send 10 monsters in the Sanctuary"
