Chapter 58 - The Betrayal Part One

"BABY!!"

I screamed out loud. As the brothers try to restrain me from getting off their grasp. They were stronger than me, my struggle prove to be in vain.

Baby was lying helplessly on the floor covered in bruises. 

"Get here out of here," Simon said as he fling me over to Justin who was standing by the door. He gets hold of me and starts to run back as the rest of the brothers run to Baby's side. 

"Let go of me" I holler.

"Listen to me! I said listen for a second please" I growl making him slow down now having his attention. "We need to go back there" I pant.

"Hell, freaking no" he howls as he tries to drag me away once again.

"Baby is injured and even without me close to him could get him killed. If the pack has raised a war against him it's best we go back, I will take Baby with me and you will help the rest of your brothers sort the situation out" I tried to convince him. 

He stood there for a while before heading back. We arrive at the grand hall and we saw 4 wolves surrounded by hundreds of wolves. Justin held me back. The situation is bad I need to do something.  A dark wolf shifts into a human. It was Alina.

"I will rather have you kill before you make a mockery of me" she scoffs. As she walks to the alpha's chair and robs her hands around it. Looking down on the Yang brothers. She was trying to prove she had their lives in her hands.

"We need to get out of here" Justin insisted. I didn't think twice the whole time I was looking for the shortest and swift way to get to Baby before I was caught. I was crazy but I knew as long as I get to Baby I will be fine. Justin let go of my hand and I quickly run from his side.

Those few seconds were like walking through hell. I had already scanned my route before even starting. My heart was flying more than my legs. Before I knew it I had alerted them. One dark brown wolf block an attack that was directed at me and shove me into their midst. 

His angry pieced yellow eyes glowed and even without words I knew what he was thinking.

What the fucking hell was I thinking?" I recognize Baby's wolf I press my hand through his black and white fur as I hug him. I let out a whim.

"I always underestimate your willpower, Nancy? Do you dare walk into a wolf pack? I'm amazed" Alina smirks.

"You want to know what my willpower can do, or will you like to finish what we started earlier" I growl. I don't know what I was thinking but I believe my demon was trying to take control for making me dare Alina in her own territory was mare stupidity. 

"What! A mare human dare to challenge me in my own territory? Take a good look around you, Nancy? Do you even know where you are?" she chuckled letting out a loud laugh.

My demon was completely ready to take over. Baby whim and manage to shift back to human. 

"Are you crazy? Do you want to get yourself killed?" Baby howls.

"You tell me, you are the almighty Alpha Bernard Ace Branson Yang. BABY will you let me die in your presence" I sniffed moving away from him and facing Alina.

I don't know but I just heard a voice in my head to mention his full name. Ace is his soul name it was the name he use when he was human, The name her mother calls the most and any memory of his mother is sensitive to him.

Watching his mother die in front of him and not being able to do anything at the time took a turn on him.

Alina jumps and shifts in the air as she was about to attack me I close my eyes swiftly waiting for a miracle to happen. 

A shadow stands in between us preventing the attack. I slowly open my eyes to see Baby holding Alina by the neck forcing her to shift back into a human as she coughs. 

Baby turn to face his subjects as his eyes glowed red. His powers were fully restored. Everyone trembled in fear as his brothers and followers were relieved.

"I, BERNARD ACE BRANSON YANG, REJECT ALINA MORGAN AS MY MATE" he announced. What he hesitated to do all these years to maintain the peace in the pack, took him a second to do. Now he had no reason to hold back.

The reason for the rejection was justified. "You took advantage of my sympathy towards you to poison me and anyone that betrays their alpha has to pay the price" he howls still with his eyes glowing red.

"No Baby, please" Alina pleaded. She didn't even finish when he eradicate her head off and set fire to her body as I swiftly turn my face to the other side. 

I couldn't watch even though she deserved it. Mark, Alina's elder brother tried to stop Baby which he suffers the same fate. Matthew, Morris, and Boris seeing what happened to Mark got furious.

They attack Baby all at one. Without using too much energy he got them off him making them fly in the air. He breaks Matthew's spine making him shift into his human form and groan in pain on the floor. 

Baby holds the twins by the neck in his hands. Morris and Boris.

He snaps their necks as well.

He gets hold of his traitors and kills them all. He kills one elder and ordered his granddaughter Marisa to be thrown in the dungeon where slaves and prisoners are kept.

She cries over her grandfather's death as they drag her away.

Baby looks down at me and nods, stretching his hands towards me. I stare and smile at him before putting my hand forward.

As we walk to his chair, where he sits to make decisions. The old but giant chair. Well his throne

He stands in front of the chair then a lady probably in her 20s walks to him and helps him wear a red robe well- embellished tunic with a goldwork thread and a crown. I have never seen him dress like that before.

Like a real king well he is the king of the wolves.

He holds my hands as I proudly stand beside him.

"Do any of you still have a suggested candidate for the Luna position?" he howls.
