Chapter 65 - His Smell Is Everywhere

"Let go of me! Leo now!" I yell, I felt like draining his blood out. Why is no one listening to me?

"Where do you think you're going?" He mutters. Without answering me, he spanks me and asked me to stay put.

"Just put me down right now" I growl  Leo carried me on his shoulders back into the room and shut the door.

He dumps me on the bed, I frown.

"Where do think you're going?" he rumbles, what was he doing outside my house anyway.

"As you can see, I'm going out" I shrug folding my hands around my chest while Leo gaze at me.

"I was given clear instructions not to let you out of my sight" he announce tilting his head.

"Whose instructions? Listen I need to go right now" I pout.

"I'm sorry Nancy, but I can't besides you haven't recovered yet the doctor said you need to rest" he mumbles upon my demand.

"I'm fine" I sniff.

"Yeah tell that to Baby when he comes back" he mutters.

"What's with you? You used to hate him, why are you now following his instruction" I swallowed while Leo just smiled, looking charming as always.

"Because like him, I worry about you," he said sitting next to me on the bed.

"Exactly, I'm afraid he will do something crazy" I sob trying to convince him but I'm failing miserably.

"He's a wolf Nancy, even though you are trying to make him have human feelings. Who wouldn't go crazy losing both his brothers? Of course, he needs to find those responsible and let them pay. You think he is going to forgive them?" he paused looking at the horror on my face.

"He's going to kill them probably their entire generation as well, so it's best you don't know about it" he added.

"What if his dark side consumes him?" I suddenly ask.

"There's nothing like the dark side, he's a wolf and they asked for it. If they could kill his brothers then probably you could be their next target" he grumbles.

"I know" I chuckle as I struggle to think of what to say next.

"That's why you need to be safe"

"You think I'll ever be safe when his enemies are always on the lose?" I shrug.

"Baby could be in trouble I need to be with him, remember he could get hurt without full access to his powers," I said innocently but firmly.

"Don't worry about that he will figure it out and if he needs you, he will call for me" he raise a brow when he saw the intensity in my eyes.

"You're not listening" I scoff, there was a moment of silence. When I open my mouth to talk Leo beats me to it.

"I can see you're being stubborn, just go to bed. I know you would give me a tough time so I got a little backup" he whimpers.

"What are you talking about?" I said as I give him a deathly glare.

"A little help to make you rest" he declares.

"What is that? I'm not going to take that" I growl.

"Of course, you will" I struggle with Leo as he shoves something into my mouth and he forces it down my throat.

All of a sudden I started feeling dizzy and even though I wanted to move, I couldn't move my body. I suddenly fell asleep.

Leo's POV

I know you wouldn't sleep this easily. Thank God Roland gave me this. I'm afraid for you Nancy.

I really hope all this war will end soon I yarn. I spend the rest of the night by Nancy's side. I couldn't help but run my hand in her hair and steal a kiss from her.

She look amazing while sleeping I couldn't take my eyes off her the entire time. I didn't realize when the sunset.

She has been sleeping soundly and it's already morning, Baby is still not back.

I'm afraid if she wakes up without him by his side she's going to go crazy.

Just then Roland knocks on the door. He was shocked to see me opening the door.

"What are you doing here?" I grumble.

"To see Nancy of course and you, why are you here? Why do you have your smell on everything here? did you by any chance spend the night here?" he pouts, he lifted his finger as he spoke.

"Relax, Baby, ask me to take care of Nancy" I reply.

"And where is that wolf? he should be the one taking care of Nancy" Roland scoffs.

"He had to attend to something urgent and I'm worried Nancy will wake up soon. Baby is still not back, I don't know what else I can do to keep her calm" I sniff.

"Tell me about it, I hope nothing happened to him".

"I hope so"

"Hey Nancy, you're finally awake" I pout as I spot Nancy on the stairs, excitement carving my face the moment I saw her.

"Are you in on this Roland? did you drug me, Leo?" I growl when I saw Roland and Leo whispering in the hall.

"I'm sorry, it was the only way to make you sleep" Leo gives me a puppy face.

"Who said I wanted to sleep. I want to go to Baby right now and if you dare stop me again I'm going break your neck" my voice sounded chilly.

"We won't"

"Of course, I'm not going to stop you" he replied.

"What's with you now? you did the impossible to stop me from going out last night and all of a sudden you're ok with it?" I holler trying to search for the truth in his eyes but I couldn't fathom anything...

"Yes I don't want hell to break loose so I'll just come with you, whatever my Luna wants" Leo answered. I don't understand why he is just saying yes to me. Did something happen?

"Stop playing with me Leo, what is going on? have you heard from Baby?"

"I think he's around somewhere"

"Really! Where? tell me" I scoff.

There was a noise coming from upstairs.

"Is someone looking for me?" A voice said, I turn sharply in the direction of the voice when I saw Baby coming from my bedroom holding flowers.

"Baby!" I was glad he was back safe.

"I'm sorry, I've been away for long, I'm back now safe and sound" Baby grins taking the words out of my mouth.

"Were you able to find them? What did you do to them? What did you do the whole of last night?" I question like his mother as his eyes mock me. I had so much on my mind.

"You don't want to know"

"Why"

"Don't you want to have breakfast? yes, breakfast you should be hungry?" he tried to change the topic.

"I'm not hungry, so tell me what did you do the whole of last night" I pout and still insisted he tell me everything.

"Relax Nancy, nothing much I empty an entire town"

"You what?" I hiss.

"I murdered an entire town, in search of my brother's killers" he repeated.

"You..." I was speechless.

"Come on Nancy, I have killed many people this is nothing compared to that" he shrugs.

"I see" I grunt.

"I'm no saint so stop acting surprised, I came to pick you up. You need to get ready for my brother's burial tonight" he scoffs

"Amazing, well I'm not going anywhere with you until you tell me exactly what happened but for now I'm going to get ready for school"  pout as I make way to the staircase  I pause halfway and turn to look at Roland and Leo who had their gaze fixed on me.

"Who else is going to school?" I asked raising one eyebrow. Roland and Leo raise their hands.

"Perfect"

"No Nancy wait I need to ask you something" Baby said as I walk past him on the staircase and sniffed my hair.

He turns around and angrily faces Leo.

"Were you with Nancy all night?" He howls. I was surprised by his question.

"You asked me to keep a watch on her and that was what I did. I drugged her so she fell asleep" Leo mumble.

"You could have done that from outside. why is your scent all over this place?" Baby howls.

"I asked the same question" Roland whispers as he butts in.

"What! I only watch over her like you asked me to" Leo defends himself.

I feel offended by Baby's question. I trust Leo completely.

"I didn't ask you to stay in the same room with her, I asked you to watch her and you could do that from outside the house" Baby howls once again.

Leo is also angry. There was tension in the room.

"Would you two stop, as if you're fighting over some kind of property of yours? you asked him to watch over me and he did exactly that. What's your problem?" I growl.

"I'm still not convinced that he stays with you all night without...." Baby grunt.

"I was asleep all night while he sat on the sofa" I explain even though I didn't have to but I just didn't want a wolf fight in my house.

"How can you know what happen when you were drugged and asleep you" Baby rumbles. He is not ready to let it go he keeps bringing it up.

"What are you trying to say" my eyes lightened with anger.

"I'm not talking to you Nancy, I'm talking to Leo let him answer," he said still not breaking their eye contact.

"You know what that's it, all of you get out of my house right this instant" I yelled.

"Nancy..." Baby pouts.

"I said get out, I don't want to deal with this nonsense right now. Roland gets the car ready, I'll be down in a minute" I said as I run to my room.

I don't know what has gotten into Baby. I took a quick shower and change my clothes.

Roland's POV

"If I find out nothing...." Baby roars.

"Nothing happened, I respect Nancy and I wouldn't dare take advantage of her, not when she's drugged and asleep" Leo mutters

"I really hope you're telling me the truth, Leo if I find out..." Baby rumbles.

"You will find out nothing" they keep exchanging words outside the house. I believe Leo.

"Are you two wolves not going to stop?" I hissed.

"Stop making all these accusations Baby, what? Do you think Leo will take advantage of Nancy while she is asleep? Nancy doesn't need all this shit so please can you make her life a little less complicated.

Baby, I can't believe you even try to hurt her, and yet you are blaming someone else for your stupidity" I said my peace of mind they can choose to burn the sea for all care.

"Don't you talk to me like that?" Baby howls.

"I'm just trying to explain how things work so just shut up and listen" I pout making Baby furious.

He didn't like my tone but I have had it with those annoying creatures.
