Travis tries hard to enter the castle to see Victoria and to know if she's safe, but they were strict as they let no one in. He felt like he nearly died after he heard what happened. He wished that he was there to protect her. But then, the castle hasn't released any statements yet and here he is in his penthouse waiting for the news. But after he received a message from the Duke of Marduque that he needed to enter in the investigation, he didn't hesitate to ask about Victoria and the Duke confirmed that she's safe.
Currently, he's dealing with his nosy wife who didn't even ask about her sister's condition.
"When are you going home?"
"I have a lot of things to do. The Royals got ambushed."
"Okay," She was calm and he knew well how narcissistic she was. She doesn't even care about Victoria.
"You wouldn't ask anything about Victoria?" He grumbled as she was silent for a while.
"Victoria was there?" She acted innocent. "How is she?"
"She's fine. I will go now." He hung up and scoffed. "Don't worry, Katarina. You will live in hell shortly."
The doorbell rang as he went to the monitor and checked on who it was. Mila and Renzel are outside and so he opened it and let them in.
"How's my cousin?" Renzel asked as he placed their luggage on the corner.
"She's fine. That's what Duke Maverick said." Travis sighed. "Come in. I have already set up two guest rooms."
Renzel was a gentleman as always as he asked where the room was located and he gave him directions. On the other hand, Mila removed her coat as she walked toward the sofa.
"Do you need anything?" he asked.
"I can get it myself, right? I mean, you are busy."
"Sure." He said.
"I'll make dinner then?"
Travis completely forgot about dinner.
"Okay,"
Mila stood as she went directly to his kitchen. He reached his head, feeling a little dizzy. He slouches on the sofa. He dragged himself up trying to get his body back to work but then, his body would collapse anytime.
"Hey," Renzel held his shoulder. "Why won't you take a break? Mila will prepare dinner. I think you haven't eaten well after the ambush."
"Thank you."
"Why won't you lay down and relax?"
Travis nodded his head. He closed his eyes and maybe had slept for like a few minutes. He already smells the delicious foods. That's when he dragged his body to the kitchen. He froze seeing Renzel's arms wrapped around her waist and he was kissing her neck. He frowned at the two. He didn't know about this. Somehow, they looked like wife and husband in a sweet moment. He shook his head, a little annoyed.
He cleared his throat to interrupt them. Renzel turned his head to him, didn't even care about his reaction as he continued being lovey-dovey toward Mila.
"Food is almost ready. I prepared ginger tea. It will relieve your stress and headache." Mila said.
"You will make a good housewife." He sneered and sat down as he took the mug. "Please, don't do it in my kitchen."
"We won't, don't worry." Renzel smacked his lips to her cheeks as he approached Travis as he opened the wine. "By the way, how's the honeymoon going?"
"I am not interested in fucking your cousin anymore." He grumbled as he sipped on the hot tea. Renzel set up the table and helped Mila with preparing the food.
"How's the business going?" Travis asked as he stared at the wine.
"Our stocks increase," Renzel said. "That's why we are here to celebrate that." He stopped for a while. "But I think I can't celebrate when my cousin nearly died."
"It's fine. Victoria is safe." Travis said.
"But Caleb is not doing well," Renzel said as he sipped on his wine. "It's also not good for the royal family, since the King had collapsed."
They turned on the television as the representative of the family came out. Secretary Bryan bowed and he looked very much stressed, worried and he seemed restless. His face showed that it might be the end for the King to reign. Secretary Bryan announces that the King will retire from his position and the Crown Prince will become the Acting King for a while now.
"It means that Victoria will become the Queen," Renzel said with a frown. "It'll be hard for Victoria." Renzel was worried about his cousin because he knew how hard it was to be the Queen of Great Greivania.
"She will do it well. She's a good Duchess and she showed her worth." Travis said. "And we can't stop people hating her because she's good. There were always those people who are going to hate."
Renzel helped Mila serve the food on the table.
"I'm starving," Travis grumbled. "You always served him these delicious foods?" He asked Mila.
"Yeah, I do."
Renzel pulled a chair for her as she sat down gracefully.
"So, when do you guys start fucking?" Travis asked again. The couple didn't flinch but they continued being lovey-dovey.
"A couple of weeks ago," Renzel answered casually as he twirls the fork.

Parson Mansion,
Regina stared at the television. After hearing that the Duchess of Westeria was unharmed, relieves her. Maybe she's the only one in the Parson family that was relieved after hearing that Victoria was safe since all of them disliked her for being an illegitimate child of her firstborn son.
"My phone." She quickly said to her secretary and she shortly called Victoria. The phone was ringing and no one was answering.
"The King doesn't feel well, Baroness. I think she's busy." Her secretary said,
"But I want to make sure that she's safe and not hurt," Regina said. "The Royal Castle was cursed. I don't want my granddaughter to die there."
Yazmin then dialed the Duchess's phone and after a few rings, it was answered.
"Hello? Duchess?"
"Yes? Is grandma okay?" She asked. Yazmin quickly gave the phone to the Duchess.
"Victoria," Regina called a little excitedly. "Darling, you aren't harmed, right?"
"I'm fine, grandma. I am not harmed."
"How about, Kenzo?"
"He's also doing well. We just have a little problem."
"I heard about the King."
"Yes," Victoria said solemnly.
"Call me if you need anything, my dear. I am worried about you."
"Yes, grandma."
"Will your mom be able to go there?"
"I don't think so, grandma. Don't worry too much. Okay? I will be alright and I am alright. Grandma, I don't want you to get stressed again because of me."
"My dear, you are my granddaughter. Why can't I worry about you?"
"I will visit you if I have time, grandma. But don't come here in Westeria."
"Why won't you and Kenzo stay here in Lwazi for a bit? Or here in the mansion."
"Grandpa," Victoria sounded very much worried. "Grandpa was still in a coma."
"How about his condition?"
Victoria was silent for a while but then she answered.
"He's not doing fine. Too much stress and some nerves on his head break. That's what the Doctor said."
"That's not good."
Regina sighed as she felt very much anxious that her granddaughter might also die in that cursed castle. She somehow just wished that Victoria didn't marry the Crown Prince of Great Greivania. She's fine if it was Kenzo but with that high position, she knew that Victoria's life wouldn't be at peace. She's happy that Victoria found a loving man although she met him without any rich background.
"Victoria, no matter what. You have to be safe, watchful. There were a lot of people who wanted to assassinate you since you are now the wife of the Crown Prince. Soon, you'll be the Queen."
"Yes, grandma."
"Grandma will be here, still. I will protect you with everything I can."
"Thank you, grandma."
Regina still felt that tight knots on her stomach thinking that her dear granddaughter wasn't safe. She never expected this to happen although she knew the past of the Royal Castle. She hung up and gave the phone back to Secretary Yazmin.
"Baroness, you need to calm yourself. Your granddaughter is safe now."
"I know. But that castle was cursed. I just hoped that the curse would end. I just hope that my granddaughter and Kenzo are safe. I don't know what to do if I lose her."
They momentarily stopped when someone knocked on the door. Yazmin approached the door and opened it. She bowed her head as Bailey entered.
"Mother, have you spoken to Victoria?" He asked. Regina looked away and didn't respond for long.
"She's fine. Why are you suddenly worried?" She asked.
"Mother, she's still my daughter," Bailey grumbled.
"Hmm, I see." She stared at her husband. "I heard that you harassed the Marchioness."
Bailey's eyes widened as he opened his mouth to speak.
"I know that you still like her and lust for her. But you can't step on her like you did, Bailey. She might be the mother of your daughter, but you don't have the right to do it to her again. If you still respect yourself, you better run whenever she's near. You are no one compared to her now."
He was silent, and it struck him right on his chest.
