Victoria drank one shot and approached them, nearly stumbling. He's with a group of men and one of them looked familiar but she didn't care. She stopped in front of the guy that she's attracted to and all of the men seemed intimidating since they are tall. But, she doesn't care. She wanted a bed warmer at the moment and she doesn't care if it'll cost her money at that time.
"I want you." She told the man. The man looked puzzled and offended. "I want to speak with you." She said again.
"Uhm," one of the men spoke. A familiar one. "Kenz, talk to her." One of his friends pushed him toward her and he held her arm, dragging her away from them. She stared into the most beautiful blue eyes that she has ever seen in her entire life. It's dangerous, and attractive at the same time. She held his shirt and pulled him down. He bent down a little.
"You are drunk, miss." His voice was strangely deep, soothing, and beautiful.
"I know." She sighed. "Marry me."
The strange man blinked his eyes and titled his head.
"Marry me, please." She sounded desperate and she knows that she will be embarrassed later on.
He chuckled and caressed her hair.
"Little girl, I am broke. I don't have a house and I can't feed you."
"I don't need to be fed and I'm not a little girl!" She scolded him. Still, for the man, she looked adorable. She's petite and she's the most beautiful face that he ever stared at closed like this.
"Little darling, I am serious. I work in construction and I rent a shabby place."
"I don't care."
"You'll regret it."
"Let's see if I'll regret it. Marry me first."
He exhaled.
"I'm Jaya Victoria." She said and extended her hand.
"Kenzo." He mumbled and took her hand as he shook it.
"Now, we aren't strangers anymore." She smiled at him.
Kenzo turned to his friends. They just waved at him and his friend that pushed him to her which he owes a lot to thumbs up at her and said that she's a good girl. Caleb approached them.
"Now, since you met my dear friend, Kenzo. You should have fun, Jaya." Caleb said and Victoria looked up at him.
"He's your friend?" She asked. Caleb nodded.
"He's a good man. I promise you, cross my heart."
"I trust you, Caleb. Thank you for saying that he's a good man."
Kenzo felt that Caleb put something on the pocket of his pants and patted him.
"Let's go." Victoria pulled Kenzo as he hesitates. "Make me regret it." She dared him. Kenzo never thought that anyone would ask him to marry him when he's broke. He only has few clothes and he usually eats twice a day so he could save money and pay for rent and water. He didn't even use electricity at night.
He took the paper that Caleb put on his pants. It seemed to be thick money. It's the last thing he wanted. Caleb was helping them since they are broke. Caleb Tanner was a dear friend that owns his business and he helped him build it and in exchange, they were paid handsomely. But since it's done, they have to separate ways. Kenzo is independent and he doesn't usually borrow money. None of them in the circle of a friend wanted to borrow money from Caleb since he's treating them well.
"So, how do you know Caleb?" She asked as she smiled up at him. They reached outside the bar as she looked around for a taxi. She didn't let go of his hand and he stared at it.
"He's a friend of mine."
"Hmm, where do you live? Let's go there."
"It's not safe for you to just go with someone that you don't know." He pulled her wrist and make her faced him. "Victoria, right?"
She nodded like a little child.
"You are drunk and you'll regret marrying me."
"No, I won't. I have a good job. I have a sideline and I can give you life."
"I don't want a sugar mommy."
"I'm not a sugar mommy." She grimaced and scooped his face. She tiptoed to reached his lips but she only reached his chin. She sighed and rolled her eyes. "Let's go to your house."
"This way." He took her hand and almost dragged her. But she keeps up and damns the high heels so much for partying this night.
He slowed down and hold her waist as he takes her to the convenience store. He bought water, a small box of condoms and some food. They waited for it to be heated and she kept staring up at him. He felt very uncomfortable but when he gazed into her eyes, the unbearable stare faded. He just realized that she has those innocent beautiful green eyes. At first, it looked fierce and killer eyes that they say. But the further he stared, the deeper he was getting drowned in it. He scooped her face and kissed her lips.
She smiled at him beautifully.
"It's three fifty-nine sirs." The cashier said. He pulled out the cash that Caleb put. The bastard just gave him five thousand. He took out one thousand and gave it to the cashier. He took the change and slid it into his pocket as he took the paper bag. He took her outside and she looked around.
"So, you live far?"
"Yes, it's not in this big city."
"Okay,"
They looked around for a taxi.
"I'll just book a car."
"Are you sure?"
She nodded.
"It's hard to find a taxi at the moment and it's safer if we booked a car." She pulled out her phone from her LV bag. She opened the app and gave it to him. "What's the address?" She asked as she turned on the microphone. He moved his lip closer to the phone and tell the details of the address as it started searching. "There, we found one."
She smiled at him genuinely and no one ever does. Usually, women who come to him would want to flirt with him. But when they found out that he was broke, they would immediately brush him off and gays would come offering him to sell his body to them.
"So, why did you suddenly want to get married?"
"My fiance cheated with my sister. My parents surely would let them have it and I ran off. Which is the best thing I did in my life."
"You have a family yet you ran off?"
"It's intoxicating." She hugged his muscular arm. "I'm just lonely and usually, rich men are an asshole."
"And it's good that I wasn't rich?"
She chuckled.
"I only have few rules."
"And?"
"First of all, you have to be faithful to me. No mistress and I will do the same.. Second, I can only bully you."
