City of Lwazi, Welsh Corporation
Katarina sat down on the sofa as she sighed. She crossed her legs and ordered her fiance's secretary to get her a glass of cold champagne. And of course, the secretary would do whatever she would ask.
"What's wrong, dear?" Jason asked as he reviewed the stuff that he needed before the meeting.
"Well, that man is harder than I thought." She mumbled.
"What do you mean?" Jason asked.
"I gave him two point six million. I think it isn't enough. But, we succeed in making her life miserable at the moment." She laughed in a very evil way. Jason stood from his seat and approached her. He bent down and kissed her head.
"You are a genius, darling." Jason praised her with a smirk.
"I know."
They laughed together and the secretary hesitated to approach them. But she pressed her lips and approached the coffee table and put two glasses of cold champagne over it. The two were kissing lasciviously and she looked at them in disgust as she left quietly.
Katarina gently pushed him.
"So, what do I get this time?"
"Well, how about a night in the Golden Palace Hotel?" He asked. "If you have a good chance, we could meet the Duke." He grinned. "I heard that he likes to walk in the lobby to the garden every night."
"I would love that. It'd be great if we were invited to his birthday party. I am sure that Grandma will be pleased."
"That's right." They kissed more.
He went to the door and locked it. He couldn't wait for tonight. He wanted her. They do it on the black Hollister sofa. The usual spot where they always do it. The usual spot where he had done it with other women. And except for his ex-fiancee. It's just a shame that he didn't get to taste her. But soon, he will.

City of Berkon, Golden Hospital
Kenzo drove to the Golden Hospital where her new obstetrician's office was located. The Golden Hospital was part of their family business that his grandfather was holding for the Royal Family. They have half the part of the hospital and although it's quite expensive where mostly VIPs set up a schedule, there is still a ward for citizens who could afford less. Kenzo, of course, had the VVIP access for his wife. In the reception, they greet them and the doctor even delays her next schedule for his wife.
This time, she received her ultrasound result. Just as her doctor expected, she had PCOS. Nothing else. She showed the result that she had from another hospital that made the doctor creased.
"I am not sure about this." She said. "This is far different from the result that you saw. Right, Mr. Kenzo?"
"Yes." He said.
"So, this isn't true?"
"Yes, ma'am. If you want to have another test, you can take it to another hospital. If you want, we can also run a blood test for you."
The doctor pointed out a few things that would make it wasn't hers. The doctor recommended her to a testing center and she did another test from her doctor's prescription. The result will be tomorrow. And so, Kenzo escorted her home and filed a sick leave for tomorrow. She still felt anxious and depressed when they got home. She couldn't even cook for their dinner. However, it's still early and Kenzo made dinner for them.
"Love, don't worry too much. I am sure that it isn't yours. Do you want to file a complaint?"
"It's a big hospital." She mumbled.
"Golden Hospital is way bigger." He grinned. "And I am sure that grandpa will find it out." He mumbled.
"Grandpa?" She asked.
"Yes, Secretary Bryan's boss." He winked.
"So, he's an old man!" She exclaimed. "That's why he gave me a very special, special fountain pen!"
Kenzo chuckled from her sudden burst of excitement.
"Indeed."
"That pen has a serial number and it's the very first pen out of five!"
"Oh, that's expensive." He said as he took the piece of baked small tomato and brought it to her mouth. She chewed on it.
"You haven't seen it yet!"
She left and rushed upstairs to her study room. Kenzo smiled as he packed the lunch box nicely. She then came down with the rectangular box and a piece of paper and showed it to him. She wrote on it. She doesn't have good cursive writing but she could make it beautiful and unique.
"See? It's so beautiful!" She said with those shining eyes.
"He'll be glad to like it. Why won't you write him a letter?"
"Right!"
She went back upstairs and took a lot of special paper. She started scribbling on scratch paper and then she rewrote it on good paper. She was smiling as she wrote and Kenzo tried to peek at it but she pushed him away.
"Now I am jealous. You are writing to him while grinning in front of your husband. Isn't it unfair, love?"
"Love, it's not for your eyes."
"Oh, come on!" He complained
"Stop disturbing me."
Kenzo sighed and watched his wife finish the letter. She folded it and put it on the card envelope.
"Don't read it." She threatened him.
"Alright."
A car honked outside and he took the card. Then, she followed him outside as she opened the door for Secretary Bryan. Kenzo gave the bag to him.
"Thank you, Kenzo." Secretary Bryan said. He's still not comfortable calling him on his first name. "Milady." He acknowledged him as he bowed. Once that Secretary Bryan left with that good car. Kenzo locked the door and put his arms around her as he took her back inside.
"It's just weird that he kept on bowing at us."
"That's because~~I'm working half of the work for his boss."
"Can't he work on it?"
"Nope." He shook his head. "Don't worry about it." He kissed her forehead. "I'm starving." He mumbled.
Kenzo made the dinner special for them and it seemed like her mood changed after he mentioned the old man. He will speak to him later. He's sure that his grandfather will be happy.
"Is it okay for you to take a leave tomorrow? Don't you have a lot of work?"
"I finished my work days ago." He said. "I don't have any pending. Also, Caleb gave me out-of-field assignments. On Friday, I'll be coming late since it's in the other city."
"Just drive safely." She said. "I'll still make dinner for us."
"Babe, don't make dinner. We are going to the bar, remember?"
"Oh, I almost forgot." She said and creased her brows. It's one of the signs that she has PCOS. Brain fog. She couldn't focus that much. Besides, she's completely a forgetful person. "But, I can make a little snack for you. I am sure that you are tired and my hubby needs a break."
"If you say so." He grinned at her.
Kenzo was tired and sleepy. However, he couldn't sleep at that moment since his wife was still awake with her back from him. If he could only get into her mind to understand her more. But at this time, he knew that it was anxiety and thought that he'll betray her by leaving. He turned to her and moved closer as hugged her from behind.
"Love, turn to me. I want to see you."
She didn't but she held his hand and caressed his silver ring.
"What are you thinking?" He whispered.
"I don't know what I will do if you accept that cheque and leave me."
He chuckled.
"Baby, I can't trade you for low money. You are priceless." His left hand reached her chin and turned her to him. He lifted his head and bent down to kiss her cheeks. "Besides, two-point six million is useless to me. Now, I regret not taking it." He mumbled. She frowned at him. "What? I was thinking of buying you expensive things out of it. Buy you a yacht… a new car? Or an expensive trip to Marinduque City and great places under Great Grevania."
"I only go there once and it's beautiful." She turned her body to him and straddled her right leg over his legs while he moved his knees between her legs. "I haven't gotten to enjoy it since~~" She stopped. "Since I have to leave early."
"Why?" He asked. "You should go and tour around."
"The truth is, my father sent me out after I embarrassed myself at the Royal party." She shoved her face to his chest. "It was indeed embarrassing." She mumbled.
"Well, whatever happened I'll get embarrassed with you and make fun of it." He grinned. "Besides, if you were with me… no one will try to laugh at you." He kissed her forehead.
"I know that you are trying to make me feel better."
"Love… did your sister do it?" He asked. He then thought that he might be there but didn't pay attention.
"The other ladies make fun of my make-up. They said that I look beautiful as they fixed my make-up. Then, I showed up in front of everyone looking like a clown."
"Clown girl…" he mumbled. She smacked his chest again. "Ow." Now, he remembered. The crying girl looked ugly in thick make-up in the garden. She was sulking and he felt bad after seeing her.
"But a boy helped me clean up my face… he's handsome." She mumbled. "But it's too late. I have you now." She grinned.. "Besides he's on top while I'm down there."
